Did anything happen to prior to your phone acting this way? It sounds like your screen is dead, but it is hard to say without knowing what what the cause.
1) was this a gradual problem? Did the phone screen start dimming a couple months ago and now has degraded or after some event (known or unknown to you), the phone started behaving this way.
2) Can you give more specifics on the problem? You said you have a black screen, but also you can see what you're doing on screen. Is the screen just really dim? Is the screen completely black? Does anything else besides attempting to reset the device cause it to flash white?

Do you have MacKeeper installed? If so, you need to uninstall it. There is a known issue where MacKeeper disables all the sharing functions from the new iMovie.
Uninstall MacKeeper, then re-install iMovie.

I have purchased a new iPod Nano and have tried repeatedly to set it up but iTunes will not recognise it. I have 5 other devices connected to my itunes account so is this the problem and what can I do?
There is no 5 device limit. There is a 5 computer limit.

My iPod classic wont connect to the computer. The light comes on but it doesn't even come up with 'connected' screen on the ipod. Have tried different computers, usb cables and ports, as well as restarting computer, updating itunes, and rebooting ipod. Still works in Logitech iPod player, however it has just wiped itself of all songs so at the moment I'm stuck with a useless iPod. Any suggestions please???
If you happen to have a USB docking cable that is new (or close to being new), try using that one. If the cause is the dock connector on the iPod becoming worn, if you try it with a cable that is not worn, it's possible that it may connect for data.
I believe the dock connector is internally part of the logic board, so it may not be economical to have a repair shop (including Apple Store Genius Bar) do the repair. You'll need to ask for pricing.

If it's the most recent iPod classic, it appears to be quite difficult to pry open. I have an older 4th gen (and 3rd gen) "classic" iPod, and those are fairly eash to pry open, using the plastic tools. -

I completed the updates on my IPhone5, now I have lost my Contacts, I tried going into my ICloud, but the password that I use does not work (Apple Password). I have changed it many many times and it still won't work. The ICloud is trying to VERIFY, but stays at that point.

Received SW update notice (from Apple) this morning for my 24" iMac. After it re-bootd, all that appeared is a white screen - no icons, just white. I re-booted, again - just a white screen.
Start up using your original install discs by inserting the disc and holding the C key while rebooting. Run Disk Utility to repair the drive and restart. If everything goes ok run Software Update again.

you can download the latest iTunes (as of this writing) directly from Apple’s servers here. If you’re already running 10.6.8, then there’s no need to redownload the Combo update; iTunes is an independent download. -
I have an iPod Touch 4th gen player and cannot connect to a Sony blu-ray BDV-E970W player. Sony system does not recognise the iPod. Do I need to link the Sony to the net and upgrade the software on the dvd player?
As the other replier said, contact Sony. It may not be compatible with the iPod.

i need to add bpm to my songs but in some of them i just can't add/modify any info. it seems like it happens only with the verified songs (the ones i download from souncloud work for example) probably verified trough gracenote..is there anything i can do?

If necessary grant your account and system full control to this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.

My iPod player within my iPhone isn't working properly when playing videos it will start then stop after a few seconds and also the sound bar appears then disappears, and when playing music no sound is coming out when I'm on a call I can hear everything properly and also on loud speaker! If you haven't tried it yet, I'd eliminate memory issues first. Close all of the apps with the double tap on the home button method
