IPhone 5s screen color issues

Got a 5s, love, however I was wondering, the color white seems "yellowish". I was able to get one (AT&T) through Best Buy, and ordered one through Apple. Both phones seems to have the white color issue. I went to the Apple store and compared the screens, my phone seems "yellowish", even confirmed by the Apple employee. Anyone else having issues?

Thank you for your help, Shipping cost is a issue. I will contact the apple soon
Thank you

  • Original iPhone Screen Color Issue?

Hello, so basically my original iPhone is having some screen problems. Whats happening is that the screen colors of the iPhone are somewhat inverted. I don't know how to fix this cause I'm not sure whether or not it's a hardware problem. A helpful note: when I restart it, it shows the apple screen but the backdrop is white and the apple is dark. Other than that it works fine.

and if theres any information ive missed that you would like to know, feel free to ask

  • Screen color issues.

Our screen colors are all off; it looks as though someone has pressed the entire screen too hard and all the colors are bleeding together.  You can still make out pictures and icons, but it's tough.

I beileve what you are descibing is a broken screen, nothing is wrong with the input into the screen more than likely.  Has it been stepped on?  Is the alumnium casing on the top of the computer (where the apple that lights up is) bent? I don't know how you could replace a screen on a Macbook Pro, but this may be what you have to do.

  • Iphone and TV color issue

Why is the color on my Sony and Toshiba TV screen a different color than that on my iphone? Ex. Netflix screen is green instead of red on TV. I am using an Apple Component AV cable.

I was having the exact same problem. Connect iPhone 3g and Canon CameraWindow would open with a notification that no camera was attached.
I found a setting in ImageCapture which controls what happens when you connect a camera. In the preferences menu, just select none. Problem fixed.

  • T400s Screen Color Issue

Anyone have a color-mismatch issue?  T400s screen is at factory default but the colors are definitely different from desktop screen rendering.  Have tested photographs on different screens and the T400s is much cooler (less red).  Also, hypertext links are a lighter blue on the T400s vs. more blue/purple on the desktop monitor.  This has been tested on a Samsung desktop monitor, a MacPro laptop, a Dell desktop monitor.  All are the same except for the T400s.
    Any comments are appreciated!

  • IPhone 3G Screen color

I went to the local AT&T store to do a side by side compare and what struck me most was how "yellow/dingy" the overall color looked. White on the original Edge phone is a "blue white" but white, while the 4 units AT&T had on display were all off color with a definite bent towards yellow. Besides making the whole color palate look dingy the screen did not appear as crisp/clear as the original.
Anyone else do a side by side compare? It could have been the demo units. The beautiful screen, with spot on colors, is what pulled me in to buy the original.
    Thanks,
    Chris

I don't remember Apple "warming" up any of our monitors for us, Laptops, iMacs, etc.
No, but the white point for an Apple monitor can be set to where Apple wants or designates it at the factory, and all monitors have the white point set high or higher at the factory which is what we are more accustomed to. Most people never adjust or calibrate their monitor from the factory setting, or know it is possible.
Apple decided to lower the white point setting for the iPhone 3G for the reason included with the link provided regardless what they do or don't do with their computer monitors for the white point setting at the factory.
But then again iPhones are outside in direct sun much more than my iMac.
Exactly, and a different white point setting means nothing in regards to screen quality.
This should improve the color quality somewhat when viewing photos or when watching video, but this in in the eye of the beholder and most beholders are accustomed to a higher white point setting with their computer monitors set that way at the factory.
It is possible that Apple may include a white point adjustment setting for the iPhone with a future update.

  • I have colorful lines going through my iphone 4s screen. What can I do to get ri d of them?

I have colorful lines going through my iphone 4s screen. What can I do to get rid of them?

    The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup...  Restore as New...
    Restart / Reset   >  http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    Restoring  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first...

My iPhone 4S screen is suddenly not reacting.  The screen has turned a light blue color but nothing is happening. I have tried several things such as holding the power button, plugging it into the wall, and plugging it into my computer. What should I do?

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

  • Funky color issues on screen

    WHAT THE....?!?!
My friend Kathy had color issues with her Power Mac G4. She took it to two tech shops and both agreed it was something to do about her harddrive & recommended her erasing and reinstalling the OS. So yesterday we backed up her old HD on an external, erased her internal HD and reinstalled OS 10.3, did all the updates, and put back some of her original photos and documents. However after we reinstalled the OS, the color mixup is still present.
    ABOUT THE COLOR
For instance, the Finder Icon (the face on the far left of your dock) is regular blue and ligh bluish/gray on a normal mac. But Kathy's computer is showing regular blue and a bright blue! There are also other instances of color shifts: user icons are erratic (like the butterfly and the lips icon), about windows while certain programs are opening, and other instances.
    HELP
How do we update the firmware if it doesn't show in the Update window? Should I contact the video card company (it's a Radeon Graphics Accelerator)? Or should we check the color calibration for the screen and/or system preferences? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

It turns out she has two cards installed in her computer:
    GeForce2 MX:
    Type: display
    Bus: AGP
    Display Type: CRT
    Slot: SLOT-1
    VRAM (Total): 32 MB
    Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de)
    Device ID: 0x0110
    Revision ID: 0x00a1
    ROM Revision: 1045F
    ATY,RADEON:
    Type: display
    Bus: PCI
    Slot: SLOT-3
    VRAM (Total): 32 MB
    Vendor: ATI (0x1002)
    Device ID: 0x5144
Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-77701-225
Also - my computer still has an extra video card (?) from the time when I had two monitors - could that second card be a problem? The technician at Learning Express wondered when he was troubleshooting, but I didn't go ahead with removal then.
~ This is what she emailed me.

  • Iphone 4 screen blinking and changes color.

Hi. When i woke up this morning, my iphone's screen is blinking and the color is distorted. No history of fall, any contact to water or whatsoever. The phone works well, internet, calls, apps, only the screen. However, when i took a screen shot and uploaded it, it looks normal in the pc. Hope someone can help me

Faulty battery, faulty screen. Apple replaced iPhones have at least a 90 day warranty, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution.

After the new update of the latest iOS, I noticed a yellowish color on the sides of my iPhone 5 screen (Top,Down,Left,Right). Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank You.

It is highly unlikely that any iOS update could cause this.
Try a restore as new, if the problem persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

  • Iphone 6 screen replaced by Apple, but color difference?

About a week ago I visited my local Apple Store to have my iPhone 6 screen replaced because I had dropped my phone and the screen cracked.  The replacement took one day and it worked fine, but I have recently noticed when comparing my iPhone to other iPhone 6's that my screen lacks the blueish tint that all other phones have.  I have also compared it to my friend's iPhone 6 and his had a much more bluish tint, mine is not exactly yellow, but more of an in between.  This bothers me because my Phone hadn't always been this way and that's how I actually noticed that mine lacked a bit of the blue that I was use to.  Do you guys have any idea what this could be?  Different glass? Screen calibrated wrong?

The repair done by Apple is covered by a warranty as well. Bring it back to the Store and let them check the phone. But if the Genius at the Bar decides, that this is a rather "cosmetic" issue, they will not change the screen again.

  • IPhone 5 Screen issue

Hi, my iPhone 5 screen is coming off, it was originally a black iPhone and then an aftermarket white body was put on it. The screen is coming off so much i can see inside the phone almost. It's mainly in the top left corner and I've been holding it down with duct tape, and if i push it down it comes back out. If i get the screen replaced will the same thing happen? Is it the body causing this issue or the quality of the screen?
    Please help, thank you

Apple do not replace the colour of an iPhone so I am assuming a third party unauthorised service provider did this for you. It would seem they did a bad job, because someone unauthorised serviced the iPhone you will now be denied service from Apple. Its a matter of you looking at other third party options from here to see if it can be fixed.
    Good luck!
