IPhone 6+ randomly deleting direct music downloads
HI guys. My iPhone 6+ is randomly deleting songs - if I download a song on iTunes on my laptop and sync to the phone, it's fine, it stays on the phone. But when I use the iTunes app to download music direct to the phone, it appears and can be played. But as soon as I restart the device, the directly downloaded songs have vanished, and need to be redownloaded. Every time. The iOS is up to date, can anyone provide a fix please?
I'm not sure it will help, but you might try going to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in. See if that stops it. (This isn't related to your iCloud account. This is "iTunes in the Cloud" which is a separate service tied to your iTunes ID; although you may be using the same ID for both iTunes and iCloud.)

Itunes is randomly deleting my music files
Im having an issue with itunes, i have my music stored in several locations and wanted to consolidate my library, so i choose an external drive and started exporting all my music from my itunes library to my external drive by changing the library location and making itunes consolidate my files. However its seems to only copy albums and all my eps and singles which i have spend years ripping from all my vinyl, copies over then deletes from the external drive while iTunes copies it! anyone had this issue? its totally frustrating. how can itunes delete my music? it may not be downloaded but its totally genuine and mine to with as i wish. I don't really want to leave my music on my mac as it just takes up to much space.
I have tried copying it over to the external drive, (mac formatted) but again when i load the files in to itunes, it again it selectively deletes all my singles and eps and some selected albums as well???? it wouldn't be so bad if they were in the itunes store but there not!
Can any help me?I don't think that is the solution. If you check back, this is a perennial issue that does not have a solution. So far.
In synching up files there will be various conflicts and having another text based list to compare before and after results of the sync might have some ability to determine what was deleted.
Synching contacts is just as prone to random damage -

I Keep making my playlists perfect than after two days it'll delete a bunch of tracks, it's always the same ones too:
Desperate Measures, Haven't Had Enough, almost all of the albums Picaresque, and Her Majesty The Decemberists, all of the albums Gords Gold, and The King is Dead, and the songs Haven't Met You Yet and Hotel California.
Why is it doing this?I had the same problem but only on my iphone 4. I had songs which showed on my iphone playlists on my mac but were not on my iphone. My solution was to delete the playlist from my iphone and also delete the songs from the artists in the music section of the iphone. Don't know why but this doesn't seem to work by only deleting the playlist.
Create a brand new smart playlist from the music library on your computer and drag this to your iphone icon.

Iphone 5c randomly deleting music. help appreciated.
So yeah music is randomly being deleted from my phone. I have 18gb of storage left so I'm sure it's not that. But I can redownload the songs from Icloud. But they will just delete again. I re-downloaded some songs earlier that I never deleted in the first place which put my song count to 486. I check my song count an hour later and it's at 483. This is where it's starting to anger me. I have to switch on "show all music" and literally search for what songs got deleted and redownload them. This has been happening for a few days now. Iphone 5c on 7.1 btw.

New music onto iPhone 5 without deleting old music?
My iPhone's home computer was a PC that we used to have, but we bought a new one and recently downloaded iTunes onto it. I just bought new music and when I tried to sync it onto my iPhone 5 it said that it would erase all other data. I know that I have to click on the "Manually manage music and videos" button on the home computer but there's no way to access that now. What do I do?

How can i sync my iphone 4 without deleting everthing (music, apps etc)?
Our computer crashed and deleted my log in and everything that was saved under my log in and also deleted my i-tunes.
We have created me another log in but I am worried if I connect to the i-tunes under the new log in I will delete all my music and apps I purchased.
How can I sync my phone without deleting everything?Restore everything from the backup of your computer.

I have an iphoe 4 which is completely updated but daily i have an issue of it deleting some of my contacts from the contacts list. Please I need help in understanding why is this happening with some of the contacts?
Are they being deleted from all devices, or just one?
Perhaps it might be worthwhile to just toggle contacts off, then back on, in iCloud. -
audiobooks are selected to sync with my iphone (so it's not that the audiobook is unchecked) and i've even put it in its own playlist (and all playlists are selected to sync with my iphone).

If you backed up to your computer recently (should do this automatically when you sync, unless you disabled it), then you can restore the backup. Not really worth it, unless you've got a show stopper SMS message.

For the past 2 days ive gone crazy over this! When i click the home button twice, i can see a few old messages but when i click on it, it wont lead me to them. So im guessing its in my phone still just not in messages. PLEASE help. I need those texts back!
Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? It might help. It's not going to make anything worse.
When was the last itme you backed up your phone? If it was recently, restoring the phone to the back up may get them back.
If you have a Mac, you can try an app like Phoneview from www.ecamm.com (there are similar apps for Windows but I don't remember the names). Phone view has a trial so you could at least check if it helps.

Is the software on your phone up to date? I suggest perform a device reset to clear all settings. Make sure you first back up your device, then go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> "Erase All Content and Settings". You will then need to reactivate and reset up your device settings. If you are still having an issue after that, we may need to file a trouble ticket.

I downloaded ios7 to my iPhone and it deleted all my downloaded apps. Some of them can be opened in the App Store. How do I restore the apps. Also, it changed the weather app to Celsius, how do I change it back?
Any Apps purchased with your Apple ID can be downloaded again, no charge. Tap Apps icon, tap purchases. This should pull up App Store and past purchases. Apps made on another ID must be downloaded with that ID ( my sons and I share a library on the computer! but have separate IDs.

PDF file is distorted when opened in Adobe Reader, but not in Photoshop.
