IPhone 6's anodized aluminum enclosure came out bent from box
Hi;
I am live in Turkey and I bought new Apple iPhone 6 eight days ago. Next day one of my friends realized my phone's anodized aluminum enclosure bent. I was sure it is not my fault so I decided to reach Apple Support. After 1 day I finally able to reach a staff. He told me to send pictures of my bent iphone to him and I did. Today I call him again and he told me it is obviously not a customer fault but still my warranty doesn't cover this kind of issue.
I am using Apple iPhone since iPhone 2 came out and recommend everybody to get one. But I think I am not do that anymore.
Can anyone suggest me what am I suppose to do?

Thanks for the reply. I guess you're right but at the same time, I kind of had this inside urge of wanting to know what other people thought. Anyway, I'm bringing it in to an Apple store tomorrow to get it checked out so one last question. Do you happen to know if I would need to bring in the box with the charger, adapter, and earpods included? Well, probably not the earpods since I've used them.

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This will install the version of OS X that originally came with your model if you have a model that supports Internet Recovery - 2010 models and later: Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery. -
Is there a way to reset Lightroom back to when I first started the trial. In other words how it first came "out of the box"?
I read some tutorials and I would like to start fresh.Not sure what your goal is here, but there are a couple of things you can do.
In preferences>General - Reset all warning dialogs.
In Preferences>Presets - Reset all default develop settings.
Finally, if you really want to start fresh with all your photos, go to File>New Catalog. Note: the new catalog will not have any photos in it. You will have to re-import all your photos.
If you are still on the 30 day trial and you are hoping to start over with a new 30 day trial, the answer is No! -

Did you change the password on your Mac as well? Go to Mail / Preferences / Accounts and change it there too.

How can I update my iPhone 3gs to iOS4, after iOS5 came out?
I am still running iOS 3 (1.3) on my iPhone 3GS and I'm happy with it - but all the new apps requires iOS4 and now I'm sick of this. I want iOS4 (and not iOS5, cause it will drain my battery as far as I've understood).
How can I update my iPhone 3GS in a normal way to iOS4, through iTunes or another easy way? I have never jailbreaked an iPhone so I don't know too much about "backdoors" into my iPhone.The only Firmware in the iOS 4 series that Apple is still signing for the iPhone 3GS is 4.1. So you could restore to 4.1. You will have to download the 4.1 IPSW from Apple, and then install it with iTunes, Option Click Mac or Shift Click Windoz, on the Restore Button and then select the 4.1 IPSW on your computer. The current iTunes may give meaningless Errors, I doubt because you are Upgrading. But if Error Message is given you will have to search the Web for ways to Exit Recovery.

IPhone 5 scrapes, scratches, and scuffs right out of the box
Today i was a bit scared of opening 2 shiny new iPhone 5's. i had heard various reports of damaged iphone 5's due to the recent foxconn riot. And sure enough, both were damaged. I would just like to find out if anyone has an idea if returns are accepted. I did purchase them through Verizon if that helps. Thank you for your time.
I thought I am the only one who has this problem. I found 4 dent on the bevel edges of my Iphone. The reason it is obvious because it shows the shiny aluminum underneath the coating. When I brought it back in for an exchange, the first thing they ask me was "did you drop it?". I told them if I drop it the damage would be much bigger than the dents that I showed them. I thought that they were not very sensitive about the feeling of the customer who just had the phone for less than 2 hour from UPS. It look as if they have a problem with the process. I got the phone exchanged but did not like the look on the face of the customer associate. Will not buy another Iphone again.

die first...You can leave the iPhone connected to your computer or a wall outlet as long as you want without any adverse effects to the battery.

If you are running 10.6.8 as shown in your profile, there is no recovery option as that did not become available until 10.7. So you would need your install disks or a bootable clone to boot from. You can usually get replacement disks from Apple; however, you would need to give them your serial number so they send the correct disks.

Late 2013 13" Macbook Pro Retina Out of the Box Condition
I have just purchased my LAte 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13" 2.6Ghz i5 512 Gb. Out of the box, it won't boot because there is no charge in it, and the keys feel a little less tactile, a littile stiff than the one on my Late 2012 Macbook Pro Retina. Also when the Macbook Pro finally booted up(after i plugged in the mag safe adaptor) I checked the battery status and there is already 3 charge cycles on it. Are these normal for an expensive Macbook Pro out of the box?
Thanks!Whether any previously built Mac notebook of any model came out of the box with a charge in the battery doesn't mean currently manufactured unit will or does. There have been several posts on these forum about the newest units not having a battery charge. I suspect there are many more units then are represented on these forum simply because most people would actually connect the AC charger as the first step in setting up a new computer and then you have others that don't think anything about it.
Who said the battery was Discharged Deeply. Just being at 0% of a charge doesn't mean it ws Deeply Discharged. Sure it isn't the best thing to do once the battery has been charged fully to constantly discharge it to 0%.
The battery has built in circuitry
Since this is the second brand new system you have had that has come like this, and many other it seems, I would say it is normal for the newly built systems. -
I noticed that Find My iPhone on iCloud hasn't worked since iOS 8 came out. Whenever I try to use it, it always says "All Devices Offline." This is regardless of whether I am in a good Wi-Fi zone or not. I like to use Find My iPhone to remotely track my battery charging status whenever my phone is charging in a different room. That's been really handy, which is why I really need to get this fixed. No matter what computer I use, the problem is always the same.
My device uses iOS 7. My question is: do I need to upgrade my device? If not, what should I do? I do not wish to upgrade my device, especially considering the bad things I've heard about iOS 8.
Feedback would be welcome ASAP.You don't need to update to iOS 8 to use Find My iPhone. If you haven't already tried, go to Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone and turn it off, then reset your phone (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). After it restarts, turn Find My iPhone back on and see if it works properly now.

I just downloaded I tunes on my new computer, I've had an apple I'd since the iPod mini came out, I signed in and went to download purchases from my iPhone. It downloads apps fine but when I click on a song it says "your computer is not authorized" ***??
Authorize the coumputer. Go to store in the top of the screen and authorize it.

A month ago my iPhone was stolen, I turned on Activation Lock but it never came out BUT an hour ago somehow my apple ID was changed and someone removed from the account both my iPhone and iPad and the iPad was also remotely wiped. As soon as I saw it I recover the password and return the access to my iPad. But iPhone is not registered for my apple ID any longer. Can Apple help me somehow? I have all the documents and the iPhone box. Will they lock the iPhone and return me access to it. I'm sure it's been attached to another apple ID.

My iphone 4s is no longer detecting wifi since the IOS8 updates came out. I've restarted, rest the networks, reset the phone back to factory settings, and even tried the freezer trick. It is STILL not detecting ANY wifi networks. HELP!!! I cannot afford to go over my data and I use wifi at home and work... I believe the updates have caused the issue, because it was working fine before the second update released (I hadn't put the first one one until I noticed it had stopped working, and by then the second IOS8 version had came out). They need to do a third update to fix this issue.
If it's grayed out:
Reset Network Settings - if that doesn't fix it, then Backup and Restore AS A NEW DEVICE.
If it's still grayed out, unfortunately that means your Wi-Fi antenna quit, and it needs service.
