I bought my Iphone5 in Korea last year, and I'll visit the united states for one year.
So I think that I have to buy an apple care service...
Question is this... : If I'll buy an apple care service in Korea, can I use this plan in united states?
Fix service.. or refurbish...

Sorry, no. Your iPhone warranty/support is only valid in Korea, whether you have AppleCare or not.

If your phone is locked to AT&T, you can certainly travel & use your phone, but you'll have to get AT&T to provision your account for International use...select the country/countries & plan. This is very expensive, as the roaming partners set the rates & you generally pay through the nose.
And no, you can't use a local sim if your phone is locked to AT&T.

Stolen iPhone, Apple care on the new one?

I'm sure it's not posted in the good community, but I have no idea where else to post it.
I recently got my iPhone stolen with an Apple Care warranty. I know my phone is lost into the woods, but now, I just want to know if there's a possibility of me getting the Apple Care warranty of my old phone, on my new iPhone. Because I don't feel like paying 100$ for it one more time..

you want to transfer your applecare agreement to another phone, correct?
You should contact AppleCare technical for that one, they might be able to transfer it, depending on exact conditions, like the purchase date of the old phone. No garantuees, though.

so i just got a replaced new iphone for my 2 months old iphone without apple care on normal waranty.

When I live in US, I buy my iphone 4 (without contract) i paid full price in AppleStore in Briarwood ... but never realise that the iphone i lock to the at&t, because i already have sim card from this operator . I understand that, when i moved to the other country and put the local sim.

if it is locked to at&t you could possibly contact them for unlocking and cant use that iphone worldwide.

This can be done very easily what you do is go to any apple store and buy a gsm only iPhone these specific phone work unlocked internationally on certain cellular frequencies so your issue after buying the phone is finding a network in Cambodia that supports the iPhone other than that you should be set
Side not us carriers of the iPhone sell what's usually a gsm or CDMA iPhone don't buy these they are carrier locked and only work in the us you best bet as I said is an apple store

You will have to return it to the country where you bought it, either take it yourself or send it to someone there. Apple will not accept shipment from outside the country.
The warranty is only valid in the country of sale so you cannot get service or support anywhere but Dubai if that is where you bought it.

Mine was due to ship on the 19th and come on the 21st, I ordered it on the 28th june 6 PM.
It shipped on the 14th
with a 27th estimate
Got an email saying we'l update you in 4/5 days once it is merged
on 15 july Delivery status changed too "in transit on schedul" - 19 july
Now my guess is that il get the Merged Email with carrier information on the 19th of july in which it will go from Holland to my door.
Can anyone confirm this, im getting impatient. Does anyone have a similar issue?
