Iphone, Ipad and 2 x Ipod
I currently have my Iphone and Ipad setup on my mac itunes. The wife has her iphone on her PC with Itunes
Whenever they download, we use my account so I have to enter my credentials. I do this because I like to keep track on things and I don't want the kids having access to content which is inappropriate.
What I want to do is upgrade their devices and make sure they have a backup of their units and also ensure they only have content which they want. At the moment they keep getting things on their units when I've downloaded.
So, what's the solution?
iTunes and syncing is the biggest load if ***** I've ever come across

ThanksYou have to use a different Apple ID to create a new iCloud account (each ID can only be used with a single account). You don't have to use the ID for anything else though, she can continue to use her current ID for other services such as iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime, etc.
The only limitation is that each device can only create three iCloud accounts. -
My iPhone, iPad and iPod are all associated with the same Apple ID. How can I remove the iPod and associate it with a new Apple ID without affecting the data on the other devices (note: there is no data on the iPod I want to keep)?
Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

Syncing Outlook for Mac with a hotmail pop accountto 'mail' on iphone, ipad and ipod
I'm using Outlook for Mac 2011, with a hotmail account set up as a pop account to my outlook inbox. I also have that same hotmail account set up on my iphone, ipad and ipod. Is there a way to sync my e-mail between Outlook for Mac and the 'mail' on my other devices, so that when I delete an email on my computer, it deletes on all devices?
I'm not so tech savvy and am happy to provide any additional information but am not sure where to start! I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank youFirst check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

When you plug in your phone go to the sidebar on the left, select the device, and select the menu you want to sync.
For example at the top there is summary, info, apps, movies, etc.
If you wanted to sync movies go under there and pick and chose the movies you want on the device.
Let's assume you are doing that and syncing is not going properly. Then first double check that there is a checkmark in the top left of that page that says sync movies
If there is uncheck and then hit apply. Then it will take all the movies off. Now re-check everything and hit apply. -
My itunes can not upgrade. it is looking for athe Itunes.MSI file, but it is unable to find it on the C:drive. How do I correct the error, and reinstall Itune for my Iphone, Ipad and Ipod?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Backup on centralized Storage for multiple iDevices (iPhone, iPad and iPod)?

I recently won a Synology DS413 NAS. Lan connected to the a Asus Router.
I’ve multiple iDevices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod at home.
My home is fully wireless.
I want to have all my iDevices to have a backup copy on the NAS and sync inform such Photo, Music, Video and Contact.

I don't have a large library of music on my iPhone 4s since I've only had it since Oct 2012, but since the update to iTunes 11 in early December, my album artwork has been all messed up. Everytime I would try to add new music, it would assign the wrong album artwork to anything new coming in. And in addition to that, it would also mess up album artwork of music already on my phone. Everything looked correct in iTunes, but on my phone, not so much. After trying to unsynch, then synching again, my frustration level was at an all-time high. This problem seems to be everywhere online, but no concrete solution for everyone.
I finally came across your simple solution (at least for me because of my small inventory of music) of just deleting all the music through the settings, and then re-synching to add back my music. Now all of the album artwork is correct again. I'm almost afraid to add new music for fear the artwork will get mixed up all over again! I still think my issue is somehow connected to the iTunes 11 update because up until then I had no issues whatsoever. Anyway, thanks for an easy solution that worked for me. -
my ipod touch just shows the charge symbol on the screen and i checked whether there is a problem in the charger but it works perfectly on my iphone 4 and when my ipod is connected to the computer itunes is not recognising my device pls help me

I bought a new computer because my other computer was failing. I want to link my iPhone, iPad and iTunes to this computer. I transferred my iTunes library to the new computer files but don't know how to put them INTO the iTunes library that I have set up on the new computer.
I tried linking my iPhone to the new computer and it will not hook up.

I have 18000 photos and i have to signed up to 200gb of iCloud storage how do i up load to iCloud and see them across my iPhone iPad and apple tv?
I have dragged my entire library over to the iCloud icon on the left side menu bar on my iMac iPhotos.
i have also signed into iCloud.com but can only see recent few photos taken today on my iPhone and when i have gone to import i can not import for my iPhotos app?

The iPads and iPhones can already do it, but the Mac can only access this library using the web interface, see: iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ
Use the time, till Photos will be released, to consolidate your photo library. Get all places and faces tagged, all keywords, titles, and ratings ready, duplicates removed, events and albums well structured, and when Photos will be released, you can simply let it migrate the iPhoto or Aperture library to iCloud Photo Library. Enable "Optimize Storage" and you will be able to have the bulk of your photos in iCloud. -

I will explain better my situation I had my US Apple market for 5 years I had alot of apps, music and movies I bought.
the issue is i might be reloacte to Canada and I would like keep my US account and open a Canadian account apple market but I read on internet you can not have 2 Apple ID's withouth a restricion of 90 days.....I don't undertand that part ......
Please explain me how i can have 2 account in 2 direfent countries ??

Can I have an iPhone, ipad and MacBook Pro with the same apple id. When I use I tunes it get confusing and I have a paid app that needs the same id
When syncing the iPhone and iPad with iTunes on your computer that is logged in with the Apple ID you plan on using on all three, the Apple ID should be transferred to the iPhone and iPad for the iTunes & App Stores on each device. If not, you'll need to sign out of the existing Apple ID on the iPhone and iPad followed by signing in with the Apple ID you want to use on both.
Keep in mind that all 3rd party apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account or Apple ID that was used to download the apps. With an app installed on your iPad and iPhone that was downloaded with a different Apple ID from the one you will be using now, you will need to use that Apple ID and password to install app updates for those apps. Not possible to transfer apps purchased with one Apple ID to another or to merge Apple IDs. -

Only option is upgrading your Mac's OSX, since Apple will not allow iOS to go backwards.
