IPhone mailbox transfer

Hi all,
How do I transfer the contents of the Sent Mail folder and Inbox from my 3G iPhone to my new 4s? I have some mesages there that exist nowhere else and I'd like to preserve them.
Ultimately I'd like just to copy the entire folder(s) over to the new phone. Having a really hard time getting any info on how to do this.
Any help is appreciated.

On your mac, there are different mailboxes listed in the left panel. One, "On my mac" are folders that are on your mac only, they are not part of the email account folders. Any folders "on my mac" will not sync with other devices.
Also, many email accounts are POP account (not Exchange or IMAP). Folders that you have on your mac in a POP account are local to your mac, not part of the account. So again, these folders cannot sync with other devices.

You don;t transfer them to itunes.
You import them to your computer as you would with any digital camera:

yes.
1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

You need to sign into your iCloud account on your Mac, and check the Calendar option. System Preferences>iCloud, sign on your iCloud account, check the apps you want to sync with your device.

Any experience of BT mailbox transfer?

Hi, does anyone have experience of a BT mailbox transfer? We want to cancel a BT total broadband account in one property and "move" the 2 associated email addresses (and the 2 mailboxes on the BT server: each containing an inbox, various sub-folders and sent box) to align with an existing BT infinity broadband account in another property. Today 2 helpful people from an obscure corner of BT (the 'dial up technical help' people) said they would be able to do the mailbox transfer. But yesterday I spent nearly 4 hours on the phone with BT - received lots of confusing and conflicting advice from many different departments but no clear and good answer. Today I was finally recommended to speak to 'technical dial up' department who gave me the good news. Just want to be double sure that today's info isn't too good to be true! Would also be grateful for reassurance from anyone who has been through a 'mailbox transfer - did it work? Thanks

IPhone 4 - transfer all content to new phone?

Hello,
My iPhone 4 was accidentally dropped in the sink and was exposed to clean water for a second or two. I immediately fished it out and dried it off with a towel. The phone (screen, buttons) was working, though the sound was no longer working.
I switched the phone off and followed advice to cover the phone in rice to draw out the moisture. It's been covered for 24 hrs, I am waiting another day or two before I dare to switch it on.
I am worried that even though the phone seemed to be working, it might be damaged and suddenly stop working. I want to get a new phone, same kind.
The old one was backed up via iTunes to my laptop.
My question is: if I get a new phone, is there a way I can transfer everything that was backed up from the old phone to iTunes, to the new phone?
I am talking messages, pictures, music, contacts, notes, the works, like a replica.
If yes, how?

Assuming you are running Mavericks and the current version of iPhoto on your Mac:
Open iPhoto on your Mac. Click iPhoto > Preferences from iPhoto's menu. On the "General" tab, choose "Connecting camera opens ... iPhoto".
Then plug your iPhone into your Mac. iPhoto should open and you should see your iPhone there. You may have to click "Import ...".
This assumes that you are talking about photos you took on your iPhone (and are therefore in iPhone's Camera Roll).

Hey all!
My main computer is my Mac Mini right now. I had some problems when I got my external hard drive and got confused. I accidentally deleted all my videos and songs. However, all my songs are on my iPod and iPhone, and my videos are all on my iPod. They are the only left devices with my iTunes library content in them.
I might change computer soon and get a new iMac (or perhaps something else) and I was wondering how I could transfer my iTunes using my iPod and iPhone.

Just itunes purchases.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.
The rest of the music came from your computer in the first pace so it should still be there.

My laptop that I always used to back up and sync my iPhone pretty much crashed - it's not useable, but all my files are still available, and I can have Best Buy back it up for me - haven't gotten around to that yet.
We bought a new desktop computer, and I'd like to be able to sync my iPhone with the desktop now that my laptop doesn't work. Is there a way to do this, and still keep all of my contents/songs/apps? Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

First of all copy your itunes library to your new computer or use a backup to restore the library.

Disable autosync in itunes on your computer, authorize your computer in the store menue. Connect your phone. right click on your phone in the devicelist in itunes and backup manually. This will copy all other data from your phone to your computer. Transfer purchases the same way. Set up at least one contact and event on your computer. Then apply sync. Your iphone will be wiped from all itunes content. After that restore your phone from your backup. You'll have the chance to merge your calendar and contacts. See also these articles:
