IPhone5 App store Shows Updates (4), but won't show which apps to update
My iPhone 5's App Store shows that I have 4 updates to my apps that I can apply, but when I go to the updates screen, it shows me nothing but a blank white screen in the application update section. No indication that All Apps are up to date, nor that any apps need updating. I do note that the "loading" icon in the header spins for quite a while, then disappears with no updates to screen.
I tried jumping on wifi, LTE, etc. Tried killing the App Store app, then relaunching it. No go. Even tried rebooting the phone!
I will note, the rest of app store works fine. I can search around and find applications to purchase. Literally every other section works fine except Updates. It just stares at me blankly.
This doesn't help with my MacBook Air
- There is no iCloud Symbol. I did go to the iTunes Library as suggested above. It showed only 2 apps purchased of the over 100 that I have.
- When I go to iTunes, it wants to download some of my apps onto the computter...I don't want them on the computer. My connection isn't that great for downloading and I have way to many apps to do that. Besides, I just don't want them on the compute.
-I use some apps on my iphone 5, others on my iPad and just a few on my computer. Some overlap the phone and ipad. I want them to stay that way.
- If Apple won't let me do it on 6.1, how can I go back to 6.0?
How does Apple feel about just fixing it?

Why App Store won't open? When tapped, it just keeps loading and loading. All other functions of iPhone work great.

any app I download from the app store doesn't open. after I finished downloading the app I tap it to open but it crashes as soon as i finish downloading it. yes, the downloading process works but any app I download won't launch. pls help

Install the v10.6.6 combo update available here. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.6. The combo includes fixes that were not included in the original update.

Restart your Mac and try the MAS again.
You can download apps directly from the MAS once you have it running.
Considering the TM backup took so long, make sure there's enough space on your Mac startup disk.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. *Make sure you always have a minimum of 15% free disk space.*

I was downloading a app from the app store and it downloaded about 85% then gave an error message download failed but when I reopen the app store to the purchases the resume button show but when i click it the same error comes up failed to download
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I am signed into the App Store on my iphone 4 and one of my apps need updating and my brother is signed into it because I didn't have any credit to make an ID so he signed in so I could download apps but its like its locked to his Apple ID I have tried signing out and turning my phone off its just not working please help.
Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

How to purchase apps in App Store? When I am trying to buy those apps, it is asking for my card details. I have entered my debit card number and then it asked for 3 digit security code. I have entered cvv secure code but it is showing an invalid security
Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store, it seems. The current valid payment methods are listed here:

You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.

Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.

installed latest icloud app on Windows 8.1 desktop, selected icloud drive but won't show in file explorer. Go back to icloud app and drive deselected. Can select and apply but whenever go back it's deselected again, any suggestions?

I can't delete apps on my iPad does anybody knows how to fix it. Also I can't open any iWork apps ,they open but won't show anything.
If the whole iPad freezes then something else is going on. Try this next. Close all apps in the recents tray and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
I have down loaded Watch ABC and the app is trying to load but won't finish. I have not been able to delete the app since it is trying to load. It continues to drain my phone battery.
How do I get rid of this App?I have tried holding my finger on the app Icon and nothing happens other than it wiggles on the screen.

mac app store tells me to log into <edited by host> account to update apps(that I don't own) but that is not my account and I never heard of this email. Is there a fix for this?

It appears that a) Hotmail has 19 domains functioning as distributors for malware and b) someone is distributing pirated software. Although it does not appear to be related to the recent trojan, my suggestion: stay away from both.
Edit: so why does everyone here appear to have pirated software (and doing it through it App Store)????? -
Hi my iPod touch gen 4 has stopped working properly and App Store will not load but Internet will, also you tube also won't load. Any ideas? I should probaly also add that I have also recently tried to download a screen recorder from safari and a message keeps popping up and saying that it can't verify server, even for this website
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Files cannot be downloaded from Safari on an iPod touch. -
I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. Please give some solutions please

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

My iPod touch 4th gen. Keeps giving me the error message "cannot connect to the app store when I sign in. I can open the app store and browse it but I can't download anything. I have full signal strength with my wi-fi and safari is working perfect. I turned it off and restarted it 3 times now. I have an iPad 2 and the app store works flawlessly with it. What is going on?
Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.
