Ipod / itunes tv show crashing

For the last month, (see my other posts)Ive had nothing but problems with my new ipod.
The first ipod was working fine with tv shows and podcasts, and games. Then all of a sudden the hard drive went on it. Im on my 3rd new ipod and I noticed some of my tv shows wernt on it. So when I attempted to sync to add those the ipod crashed. I had to reset ipod and put one back on ipod at a time, to see what ones were the problems. I had bought "The Starter Wife " from itunes the whole set.
But episode # 5 /#6, gets stuck when syncing. Anyone have any ideas what I should do?

I'm having the same problem on Windows and Mac, neither automatically download episodes from any of my season passes, nor do they find it when I select "Check for available downloads," it informs me all episodes have been downloaded for my Apple ID, which in fact they have not.
I have to find the episode in my Library(which shows all available episodes on my computer and in the iTunes Store) and from there I have to manually click to download. I tried deauthorizing all my computers and reauthorizing just one computer, and that didn't work either. I also deleted my other device(iPad) from the "iTunes in the Cloud" just in case there was some issue associated with that, and that didn't work either.
It’s sad that the iTunes rep didn't really "listen" to what you said. I find this happens at many other companies too. They often are trying to fit your problem into some prepared script or solution, or they are distracted or in a hurry and don't actually read or listen fully to an even well defined account of the problem.

Safari, AppStore, iTunes, YouTube, iPod and weather all have suddenly began to crash immediately on open. Mail will open and display message previews, but crashes as soon as you attempt to open a message. Camera, calendar, contacts, messages etc all work fine. All third party apps work fine.
I have attempted reset, soft restart, hard restart, restore and re-sync. No change at all.

Ipod won't sync with iTunes -- makes it crash?

I've had my ipod since 2007 (model no. A1238) and have never had any problems.
Recently I reinstalled my OS. I reinstalled iTunes and authorized it on my computer. I had several problems that I managed to fix by downloaded my purchased music out of the cloud or whatever, but I still can't find a solution for what's going on with my iPod.
My computer recognizes it as a device so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with iTunes.
I'll try to be concise:
upon plugging in the iPod, iTunes will usually freeze for several minutes
if I have my iPod plugged in, iTunes will take several minutes to even open after I have initiated it to do so
when I try to play a song from the iPod, after freezing for several minutes iTunes will give me an error:
Attempting to copy to the disk "ICANDY" (my iPod) failed. An unknown error occurred (-69).
this is also generally accompanied by the same error except it lists the specific song and same error code
I did (unsuccessfully) try to Google the error code
iTunes will then freeze for several more minutes, if not crash completely
podcasts may be the biggest problem. I will copy a podcast to the iPod and it will show it as on the iPod. Then soon enough iTunes will crash and the podcasts will be wiped from the deviceI also receive several errors while trying to transfer the podcasts that I've never received before
Any help would be much appreciated. This has been quite agitating.

My songs from my iPod won't show up on iTunes!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!??

I got a new laptop and i downloaded iTunes on it. Usually, I would've went to my computer but it's broken. I downloaded all my music on my computer. When I downloaded iTunes on my laptop and connected my iPod, the songs on my iPod didn't show up. I still have the songs on my iPod but now on iTunes. I tried syncing it but the songs still didn't show up. How do I fix this? I wanna replace some album artwork and stuff but I can't if my songs aren't showing up on iTunes. Help? Tnx

My iPod will not show up on my iTunes following the newest update, yet says its up to date on software?

Recently my iTunes has updated to the latest version on my PC (a Windows 7), and although ios7 is recommended, my iPod tells me that it is up to date with the 6.1.6 it is currently running. It does not show ios7 to download at all, merely says it is up to date on its software. When I try and plug the iPod in to my PC with a USB cable to sync new music to it, it doesn't even register as being there at all. No device option is in the drop-down file box nor does it show next to the music, video and etc icons. I tried restoring my iPod to the cloud and that worked just fine, tried restarting both devices and replugging in the USB, but nothing seems to be working. No matter what I've tried from the FAQ, my iPod is not showing up or registering to sync. It worked perfectly fine before iTunes updated and any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The 4G can only go to 6.1.6. It hardware does not support a higher version

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I just updated to the newest version of ITunes well, not just but a few days ago. Anyway I have windows 8, and in ITunes my Ipod 5th gen will not show up. I have tried somethings such as unpluging repluging, going to services and restarting, basiclly everything on yoyutube, none still work. It's ***** to cause I just wanted to put music on my Ipod, if anyone has an idea of what to do please give some suggestions.

4. Empty your Temp directory and restart
5. Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed

7. Remove and reinstall iTunes
8. Disable conflicting System Services and Startup Items
9. Update, Reconfigure, Disable, or Remove Security Software
10. Deleting damaged or incorrect registry keys

Songs played on iPod don't show up as played in iTunes after sync

i bought my new iPod classic this past november and just had this problem for the first time today, randomly. first, i synced my ipod shuffle (most up-to-date model, whatever that's called, and firmware up-to-date as well), and only 6 of the songs i'd listened to showed up as actually played in iTunes.
then, i synced my 160GB iPod Classic, and only 1 song showed up as actually played in iTunes. it wasn't even the last one i listened to, it was seemingly picked randomly from the 35 i listened to today. my iPod classic is set to sync automatically.
iTunes is up-to-date. firmware for both devices is up-to-date. i've never had this problem before. what's going on, and how can i fix it?

I see this problem too, as have others here on the Discussion Forums.
There have been other posts about this and as far as I can tell, it's a bug. I've never seen a fix for this.
Please tell Apple and hopefully if enough people do so, they'll address it in a future iPod/iTunes update.

The music I have purchased on my IPod is not showing up on my Itunes account on my computer, I went to the itunes store on my computer and went to see if I could download a song i previously purchased, but it was going to have me pay again. I have about a hundred songs missing on my computers itunes. It won't let me sync my ipod to it anymore and when I tried to update the software it wouldn't let me. I am completely at a standstill with this.

Then you're doing something wrong. Are you signed in with the same Apple ID on the computer that the content was purchased with?
Did you check the purchase history?

ITunes not showing songs that are on the iPod Touch

I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation.
I use iTunes 11.0.
I usually connect my iPod Touch to iTunes and play songs from there because I do not put songs in my itunes library.
I was doing this as usual and today when I connected my iPod Touch to iTunes, songs did not show up on the music tab of "On This iPod".
Just the previous day, I opened iTunes and there were all my songs.
Today, iTunes does not show any of my downloaded songs that were not bought from the iTunes Store.
The iTunes Capacity Bar shows that I have songs on my iPod Touch.
But when clicking on the iPod and going under the music tab in "On This iPod", there is no music other than a few songs, which were purchased from the iTunes Store itself.
I also tried third party software just today to check if I can get the songs off my iPod.
I tried using SharePod and it did not detect any songs, not even the purchased songs from iTunes.
There are songs on the iPod Touch only. I can play all the songs from the iPod Touch just fine.
They are simply just not showing up on iTunes.
How do I get iTunes to show the songs on my iPod Touch? The capacity bar says there are songs.
I tried SharePod a few times long before this happened, and it showed the songs on the iPod Touch.
I don't understand why all of a sudden the songs all disappeared from iTunes itself only.
(I would say this is similar to other issues where iTunes DOES show songs while the iPod itself DOES NOT. Mine is the opposite.)

I tried backing up the iPod Touch.
Now all the songs on the iPod Touch (except for the purchased ones) are turned to blank names and are skipped.
There is no name for each song or artwork, they all are called 'unknown'.
Only the purchased songs are left unharmed. Everything else is corrupted now.
