Ipod stops sending notifications

my ipod stops sending me notifications all the sudden. After a while it will send me multiples for email, but then none for a while. I tried turning it off one time and it started working when I turned it back on, but the last time I tried did not work! Im not getting any notifications and want to know what I can do to resolve this issue!!

Anyone have any ideas on this? Still having same issue and not getting anywhere with TAC.

OIM stopped sending notification mails after patch

Hi all,
We're currently developing an OIM system for a client. We patched the system using patch #8484010 from 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2, after which the system wasn't able to send any task assignment notification mails to the assignee. I'm not 100% sure that it has something to do with the patch, but it seems like it has. There is nothing significant in the logs, even with relevant logging levels set to ALL. Did anyone else stumble upon such an issue? If not, does anyone have a clue?

iCal sends a notification (not an email) to all users of a shared calendar whenever an event is added or edited. How do I stop that?

as far as i understand iCal it is on the "receivers/subscribers" side to deal with email-updates (and not on the "senders/changers" side):

My NEW ipod touch stopped sending and recieving messages even though I am connected to the internet and all other internet apps are working just fine. I am just replying to messages sent to me. Any suggestions as to the solution?

You are NOT talking to Apple here and remember that every time that you post again and someone responds to try to help you, the emails will continue to pour in from those people that are trying to help.
Read these instructions from another discussion and make sure that you are doing everything exactly as stated below.
Anyway first click on your name to get to your homepage/profile. At the top there are three tabs one of which is Notifications, that's number one,. Next look at the right side of the page at the box Actions in there click Manage Email Notifications. Finally click Edit Preferences in the action box and click on Email Notification Preferences.
And make sure that you click on Stop Email notifications in the Actions Box in the upper right corner of this page.

How do I get Apple to stop sending me email?

I know this isn't the right forum for this question, but I didn't see one that seemed relevant.
My first question is regarding these discussion boards. I posted a question here (in the Using iPod Shuffle area) and since then, I am getting an email every time somebody posts to this area.
The email has instructions on how to stop this from happening, they tell you to log in, go to "My Subscriptions", and in the Subscribed Categories area, select the delete option. However in the Subscribed Categories area, it shows zero subscribed categories, and there is no delete option.
Has anybody else run into this and found a way to fix it?
Second, since I am vaguely on the topic anyway, maybe somebody will know this one.
Since I purchased something from the iTunes music store, I have been getting ads by email from them. I told them not to send me ads at the time, but they are sending them anyway. I have replied back to the emails begging them to stop sending me ads, but they ignore this.
I really want to keep my email account as spam-free as possible.
Has anybody else run into this and figured out how to make them stop?

Look in "My Settings" to find the .... setting ... which prevents your from automatically subscribing to each one you either originate or respond to.

One way to manage/change your contact preferences is to log into myinfo.apple.com and change whatever you want or need to in there. If there are separate things which come from ITMS that aren't controlled from that page, and you can't find it discussed in the iTunes help or support pages or in its own menus somewhere, then you really should be asking in the ITMS forums instead of the iPod Shuffle one.

Stop Sending and Receiving Emails for the employee which is no longer exist

I have lot's of mailboxes in my exchange server which their users are not with us anymore.
I would like to stop receiving any emails for them.
I know if I go to "Mail Flow Settings\Message Delivery Restrictions\Accept messages from\Only Senders in the Following List" and select a dummy user it works but it sends my server information to the sender. and I do not want to give the
information.
Any idea how to:
Stop sending / Receiving email for these type of users?
OR
Changing the respond message?

You have a couple options. Removing the mailbox would be the simple solution to stop mail flow, but I am assuming you need the mailbox which is why you have not taken this route.
Alternatively, if you have a message filtering solution in place that sits in front of your Exchange environment, you may be able create a filter to block inbound messages for a specific address so the message never reaches your internal Exchange servers.
This would prevent any information regarding you Exchange servers being returned.
If you do not have a filtering solution to do this, you can create a delivery status notification (DSN) so that a custom response is returned when messages are sent to a mailbox. Refer to this article on creating a DSN:

Disabled subscription sends notifications, relative date not working properly

I have two problems regarding subscriptions:
1.When I disable a subscription, should I receive any further notifications? I am receiving notifications despite disabling the subscription.
(I have cloned the template and deleted the original template, then sending email notification will be stopped, but as soon as assigning new template to subscription, sending emails starts, whether subscription is enabled or not)
2. The criteria for subscription is as follows:
Status = Active or Status = Pending and Source = Portal and Created date [relative] = [now-7d]
Regarding the criteria, it must check whether it has past 7 days from incident creation, but it starts sending notifications without considering the [now -7d] condition.
I use SCSM 2012 SP1 - Rollup 6.
Am I doing something wrong?

The actual criteria was Created Date greater than or equal to [now-7d]
What I am trying to accomplish is that whenever an open incident (i.e., not resolved or closed incident) is active more than 7 days, assigned to user will be notified.
My Question is , why is it happening in the first place, this criteria is nearly impossible to catch (equal to [now-7d]), yet it is sending notifications from the first day. I have testes the notification with
Created Date greater than or equal to [now-7d] as well but to no avail, still the same problem.
About delay, I am 100% sure that this is not performance problem, since this workflow is set to periodically check criteria and is run once a day. I have waited for the setting to apply for about two days and this is far beyond any delay! (for two consecutive
days, I have received this notification).

How to send notifications to multiple person with same role and with result

How to send notifications to multiple people with resultout as approve/reject?
We are looping the notification by attaching a cursor query to find the different emp nos to send for approval.
I cannot associate a role because these emp nos are sub-set of a role which I have created and i am getting thru the cursor query.
For FYI notification there is no problem, but for approval notification, I am not unable to send approval notifications to all the people.It stops at the first person in the loop.Pls suggest alternate way. Thanks in advance.

I would use the cursor to populate the API for creating an ad-hoc role within the workflow process as a function. Then set your notification performer as the ad-hoc role.

My mail has stopped sending. I can receive but I can't send.

My mail has stopped sending, even though I can still send via my iPod. Mail on my iMac can receive but not send. I've tried deleting the talktalk account and starting a fresh, but it's not made any difference. This has just started to happen, I was sending quite happily until now. Does anyone have a solution?
I get a message saying: Cannot send message using the server smtp.talktalk.net:(followed by my email address)

I would think that at the very LEAST you would be eligible for a COMPLETE refund of ALL charges for insurance paid thru Verizon! They were charging you for something you were ineligible for! Verizon has a record of whether or not you purchased the phone from them - otherwise how could they deny the claim!
It very sad to see how customer service and customer satisfaction has been lost here ... !

How to stop email notification on PO revision - PO approval workflow

This is part of the seeded POAPPRV Workflow. When a new PO is created, a notification is created (that requires acceptance). The PO is then revised before a response to the original notification has taken place, which deploys a new notification and closes the original one. When the original notification is closed with no response having been provided, the POAPPRV Workflow states:
"You earlier received the notification shown below. That notification is now closed, and no longer requires your response. You may simply delete it along with this message."
Can anyone tell me how to stop sending this second notification when notification is cancelled ?

When a notification is sent to a user and the user has a notification preference to receive e-mail notifications then the notifications will be sent via e-mail and they will also appear in the user's worklist.
If the user responds to the notification from the worklist (let's say approves) the notification will be responded to and will be removed from the worklist. Now, there is nothing that Workflow can do about the e-mail notification in the e-mail client (yahoo, ms outlook, gmail, etc). So if the user attempts to approve from there, the Workflow Inbound Mailer will realize the incoming e-mail corresponds to a notification that was responded to already. So it has to let the user know that his e-mail will not be processed. So the user will need to consider what he's done before sending an e-mail response.

IPod trouble sending mail

I have an ipod touch I use for email. It has always worked fine. recently it has stopped sending emails, I think it may have coincided with the recent update to 5.1.1 The mail swooshes but no one ever recieves it. including my Bcc which I never get. It is in the sent file, not the outbox.

Try deleting the account on the iPod and reentering all the settings.

Ical hangs on trying to send notification of event

Hi all,
Anyone knows how to stop Ical from trying to send out notifications for an event.
I created a new event and added attendees.
Must have made a mistake in one of the addresses because when done it started sending but that never stopped. Even after restarting, it still kept on trying to send out invitations to the attendees. I then deleted the event. But then the question comes delete and notify. I choose that option with the same result, now it keeps trying to send notification to the same faulty list of attendees.
Restarting does not help.
Howto kill this activity of Ical?
Any help is appreciated.

I seem to have a similar problem. I was invited to several meetings that I keep on seeing in my notification window (although I posted a reply multiple times). This is VERY annoying, since my calender opens on the oldest notification (somewhere end of august). Anyone?
