Seems to be an Apple or FB app problem. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be fixed.

I have an ipod touch 4th generation and have just recently downloaded the new update. I was wondering why the videos that I had added in my playlist won't show up. Is there anyway that I could get my videos to appear in my playlist? They are still in my ipod in the video section, but just won't appear in my playlist.
iOS6 problems aplenty ....not sure if the link I inserted is working or not, but the issue is a lot more prevalent - the issue being that what shows up & plays in iTunes after the iOS6 update is not what shows up (& plays) on the device itself. This may go beyond just the iPod Touch as well.
In my case I can see & play both audio & video files in my Playlist through iTunes, but can only see the Playlists on the iPod Touch with ALL of them being empty. Syncing numerous times no help. Contacting Apple Tech. Support no help - they suggested downloading my Purchases from the iTunes Store - waste of time, did not make a difference. It is clear Apple needs to release a fix to OS6.
Another problem I noticed on the device is that the Shuffle option is hidden on the built-in Songs Playlist, having to swipe the screen down to see it - dumb dumb dumb. -
Hello everyone I brought a second hand ipod touch 4th gen and it all worked fab except it wouldn't let me put any new apps on it so my friend suggested I restore it which I did but while it was restoring the battery died. Now it doesn't seem to be charging and I have left it for ages through the laptop and tried it through a geniune apple plug in charger but its not working. When you plug in the cable to the laptop or plug the little grey apple comes up on the screen but only stays on for about 5 maybe 6 seconds. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions on apple but none of its worked, Shall we just bin it and learn from our mistakes.

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

The message also says that PayPal is not enabled on this device. I don't know why it would try to bill PayPal for anything. As far as I know I have not ordered anything except free apps.

If an error occurs with the download and we want to try again, the download MUST continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. We have to protest for it. Please, Apple Inc, try to fix it. It's very easy to do. If I am downloading a firmware version from iTunes and an error occurs with the download , you should put a button that reads "Continue the download from the interrupted part", no only a "OK" button that finishes the download and I have to start all again when I want to retry. Solve it, please. -
if i factory reset my ipod touch(5th gen), can i reset it to the option 'set up as a new ipod', and then i can just go into the app store/itunes store and log into my apple ID so i can just restore my music and apps and not icloud with photos, contacts, ect. and then later i can add contacts that i need/want instead of them restoring them from icloud?
The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

-sierraHey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Does anyone know why my iPod Touch keeps asking for 5 different iTunes account passwords? Also, in the iTunes app it says I have 651 songs preparing to download, and I didnt tell it to download them. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? It only began after I reset my iPod.
I have this problem too. I'm trying to restore an iPod and it asks me for account numbers. Is there Anyway to get around it? Cause it does not seem fair if I can have and listen to it on my iTunes but not my iPod. The one account is from a girl who litteraly went mentally insane, I'm not going to be asking for her password EvER. And the other is An ex friend and I don't even know who the third account is! This is really not fair and sooooo annoying. It won't put on alll my other music without these passwords. There has to be a fix for this. I can't even use my iPod and get music on it!

My daughter's iPod Touch is stuck on a blank screen with that loading circle thing just going around and around. She said she was trying to duplicate an app or something, and all the the apps started shaking like when you delete them. I turned the iPod off, but it never turned back on completely. After getting a new router, my ipod touch is asking for a password. I was able to put in the router's passcode on all my other wireless stuff, but the ipod won't accept it. I thought I had made too many attempts, but I've reset it and it still won't let me on. I have no idea what the password is or why it is now asking for one. Help!!
Look at the manual for the router. The password is on the router. Then change the password in the router to something other than the default one and use that password when the iPod asks for it (it will only ask once, once it has the password/router combo in its memory, it will remember it)

Not sure what happened but after I downloaded iOS 6 to my iPod touch 4th gen i was unable to use the app store and go on certain websites like yahoo.com, cracked.com and other websites I ussually visit. On top of that the yahoo weather app does not update and always says it fails. I just restored my ipos and nothing changed. Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here?

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
