Iprocurement Requisition submission fails with Wrong Approval Hierarchy
Hi,
I am setting new AME Rules for Iprocurement Requisitions(Internal), and while submitting it shows an error saying 'Problem with Wrong Approval Hierarchy'.
I had setup AME rules correctly, and all of a sudden its showin gme the error,
I have checked my Requistion with the test Transaction and it shows correctly, but am not able to submit new Iproc requisitions.
I have also taken the Setup Report for Internal Requisition Approval and it looks all fine.
Had any one faced this kind of errors before ?
Thanks,
Kiran
Hi,
We believe Iprocurement does not support AME. Please get it confirmed from oracle support.

Budget entry documents with wrong Budget hierarchy doc
Hello Colleagues !
I have this opened question from a customer:
======================================================
Hello!
We have implemented FM- Former management module in SAP Enterprise
system. We have problem with budget documents after budget figures
entering in productive system for 2009 year.
The situation is following:
We have the Funds Center hierarchy (as an example):
T -> T1 -> T17 -> T171
After Budget entry, the budget hierarachy document prepared only for
few Funds center hierarchy levels:
T -> T1 -> T171( see in attached pictures).
The same situation we have also with all others budget documents as well
however the budget structure is performed for all levels and without
errors. As a result we have problems wth our reporting system.
What can we do to repair these documents?
===========================================================
Any hint will be much appreciated
Best Regards,
Vanessa.Ilona:
If I understand your problem correctly, you entered budget in the amount of $100 at the T171 funds center level. The same $100 should appear in T17, T1 and T superior funds centers as well based on your hierarchy. If so, please try this. In the FR04 transaction on the selection screen, enter funds center T (highest funds center level) and your fund information, etc. On the second screen, change the period from 07 to YEAR (scroll to the top of the drop down list). The Distribution Key column should then be visible. You should see the following:
FC AMT DIST KEY
T $100 0
T1 $100 0
T17 $0 0
T171 $100 1
You should be able to change the amount at the T17 level to $100 and change the distribution key to 1 (equal distribution). Use the check (F7) function to ensure that the hierarchy is in balance. If no errors are received, you should be able to post the hierarchy correction.

Call to Package Procedure fails with wrong number or type of parameters
I think its getting to the correct package and procedure since if I change the name slightly, I get an error about it not being defined.
Here is my Parameter set up:
OracleParameter[] theParams = new OracleParameter[26];
theParams[0] = new OracleParameter("P1",OracleDbType.Char,2);
theParams[1] = new OracleParameter("P2", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[2] = new OracleParameter("P3", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[3] = new OracleParameter("P4", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[4] = new OracleParameter("P5", OracleDbType.Double);
theParams[5] = new OracleParameter("P6", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[6] = new OracleParameter("P7", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[7] = new OracleParameter("P8", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[8] = new OracleParameter("P9", OracleDbType.Char, 10);
theParams[9] = new OracleParameter("P10", OracleDbType.Char, 3);
theParams[10] = new OracleParameter("P11", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[11] = new OracleParameter("P12", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[12] = new OracleParameter("P13", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[13] = new OracleParameter("P14", OracleDbType.Char, 6);
theParams[14] = new OracleParameter("P15", OracleDbType.Char, 6);
theParams[15] = new OracleParameter("P16", OracleDbType.Varchar2);
theParams[16] = new OracleParameter("P17", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[17] = new OracleParameter("P18", OracleDbType.Char, 16);
theParams[17].Direction = System.Data.ParameterDirection.Output;
theParams[18] = new OracleParameter("P19", OracleDbType.Char, 12);
theParams[18].Direction = System.Data.ParameterDirection.Output;
theParams[19] = new OracleParameter("P20", OracleDbType.Varchar2, 12);
theParams[20] = new OracleParameter("P21", OracleDbType.Varchar2);
theParams[21] = new OracleParameter("P22", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[22] = new OracleParameter("P23", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[23] = new OracleParameter("P24", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[24] = new OracleParameter("P25", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
theParams[25] = new OracleParameter("P26", OracleDbType.Char, 2);
Now the problem is that the package definition is declared using types from database table columns, for the most part.
So for those, I used the real types of those columns, like for CHAR(2) I used OracleDbType.Char with length 2.
There are just a few odd balls that I'm not sure about.
For new OracleParameter("P5", OracleDbType.Double);, this is a parameter defined usijng a column type, that is NUMBER(8). Not sure what to use here.
For the line theParams[15] = new OracleParameter("P16", OracleDbType.Varchar2);, the parameter definition for the procedure parameter is VARCHAR2. So I used that with no length specified. Is that correct?
The oddest is this one, theParams[19] = new OracleParameter("P20", OracleDbType.Varchar2, 12);, where the procedure parameter is defined as a type from another package. That in turn is defined as a RECORD:
TYPE t_log_rec IS RECORD (
log_seq t_handle -- VARCHAR2(12)
and t_handle is defined in terms of another table column, and that is defined as VARCHAR2(12).
Any help on how to map those Oracle types back to .Net Oracle data types and parameter definitions is appreciated.PLSQL Record types cannot be passed directly via OCI (read client) apps, and can only be instantiated/passed from other PLSQL procedures.
You could create a wrapper procedure in the database that accepts all scalar types, which then converts the varchar2 into a t_log_rec and then calls the "real" procedure.
Or, you could instantiate a t_log_rec inside an anonymous block and call the real procedure via that anonymous block.
Varchar2 parameters need size defined. When you assign an IN param a value, size is implicitly defined. OUT parameters need to have size explicitly defined.
Hope it helps

I-Procurement problems with approval hierarchy - Urgent!! Please help!
Dear experts,
I am having a number of problems in i-procurement (12.1.3). When creating a Requisitions in i-procurement on the screen when it arrives with the approval list, it has retrieved a personel who is not in the hierarchy list at all. (not using AME just employee hierarchy)
I have checked the usual setting such as making sure the document type settings is correct and the position hierarchy for the position raising the requisition.
In addition to this once proceeding with submitting the requisition the created time is completly wrong. It is displaying a date occuring in the past. And in the Justification field it has already been populated it appears that it has captured information from a previous requisition. Furthermore in the created by field it also displaying a name of a different user to the one I am currently using.
I am out of ideas as to exactly what the problems is. Would appreciate if any I-procurement gurus can take a look at my issue.
Thanks and Regards
EbsnoobThat sounds like a feedback loop.
Does the tone alter in pitch when you alter input and/or output levels or move your microphone?
And have you checked your coreaudio device in *Logic Pro>Preferences>Audio* ? And your recording settings in *File>Project Settings* ?
And how is your monitoring setup? Directly from the Presonus, or do you use *Software Monitoring* ?
Does the tone stop when you hit Pause ?
2nd possibility: a note event somewhere triggers a synth - but that would also happen in playback, so it is a long shot.... it does not happen in playback?
regards, Querik.
ps: the advantage of smashing up things is that then you are at least sure you can't fix it anymore. Better keep some broken stuff handy, because you'll regret smashing up working stuff. -
Experts,
Please help me out here,Am facing this issue while scheduling a job in BIPublisher.
job submission failed : error occurred while scheduling the job. org.quartz.objectalreadyexistsexception: unable to store job with name
Thanks,You are probably installing on a hardened machine.
The "installation guide" says that if you are doing so, you need to create a file named libx11.so.4 and update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH (see http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging/ims52/ig/unix/overview.htm)but:
1- the library name is libX11.so.4 and
2- for jre a common file is not enough, you need to install SUNWxwplt at least. This will install the library on /usr/openwin/lib.
You can check the results running <server-root>/bin/base/jre/bin/jre
Hope that helps and sorry about my poor english. -
Java Applet in a HTML page: failing with PLS-00306: wrong number of args
We are trying to use a Java Applet in a HTML page. as our system needs to be able to retrieve a predefined set of data from a third party system that uses Dynamic Data Exchange Protocol (DDE) and are encountering errors from APEX and in IE itself.
We are using JavaDde from www.nevaobject.com that enables our Java applet to interact with Windows applications (Third Party System) using DDE.
This functionality is currently used in our Web Form 6i application and we are trying to use the same in the new ApEx application.
We are using ApEx version : 2.1 and actually aer encountering 2 problems:
Problem 1: ApEx failing with PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'ACCEPT'
Problem 2: IE crashes if Applet used in a complex page with several regions (1 Context, 4 Report Regions, 2 level Tabs, Links)
This problem does not occur in the page where there is only applet and one region. In the case of complex page the IE crashes if the page is reloaded
Test scenario:
1- Create a simple page with the HTML region.
2- Define the Source of the above region as follows
<OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93"
CODEBASE="http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/autodl/jinstall-1_4-windows-i586.cab#version=1,4,0,0"
WIDTH="1"
HEIGHT="1"
ID="simpleApplet"
NAME="simpleApplet">
<PARAM NAME="code" VALUE="simpleApplet.class" >
<PARAM NAME="archive" VALUE="simpleApplet.jar" />
<PARAM NAME="type" VALUE="application/x-java-applet;version=1.4">
</OBJECT>
3- Create a simple Java applet "simpleApplet" - for the test its enough if the applet will have just the init method printing out the mesage to the console
4- Create a Submit Button (not redirect) in Region Header and create unconditional (do not set When Button Pressed property) Page Branch to navigate to another page (the page without the applet)
6- Run the page and Submit -
The error below is returned by the engine:
In our case our applet is called ddeApplet - I do not know why is ApEx passing the Applet's ID down to the wwv_flow.accept method as a parameter

It looks like whatever HTML you're including on your page is creating HTML input form elements inside the HTML form "wwv_flow". This form is posted to wwv_flow.accept, and of course, the PL/SQL procedure wwv_flow.accept doesn't know anything these additional arguments/form elements you're attempting to POST.

Hi everyone,
I just installed SP09 and i was testing the solution. And I found a problem with the approvals tasks.
I configured a simple ROLE approval task for validate add event. And when the runtime executes the task, the dispatcher log shows a error:
ERROR: Evaluation of approvalid failed with Exception: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of an object loaded from local variable 'aValue'
And the notifications configured on approval task does not start either.
The approval goes to the ToDO tab of the approver, but when approved, also the ROLE stays in "Pending" State.
I downgraded the Runtime components to SP08 to test, and the approvals tasks works correctly.
Has anyone passed trough this situation in SP09?
I think there is an issue with the runtime components delivered with this initial package of SP09.
Suggestions?Hi Kelvin,2016081
The issue is caused by a program error in the Dispatcher component. A fix will be provided in Identity Management SP9 Patch 2 for the Runtime component. I expect the patch will be delivered within a week or two.
For more info about the issue and the patch please refer to SAPNote 2016081.
@Michael Penn - I might be able to assist if you provide the ticket number
Cheers,
Kristiyan

P46 / P45(3) efiling submission to Inland Revenue failed with Business erro
Hi Team,
Efiling of P46 / P45(3) failed with an error message 3001 - The submission of this document has failed due to departmental
specific business logic in the Body tag.
There were many submissions on the same day, only two failed with the above message. Can you one tell me why is this error and how to resolve this?
Thanks
Veena.Hi,
*To be introduced 6th April 2009, this replaces forms P160 and PENNOT.
Employers with fewer than 50 employees have to file them online from 6 April 2011.
SAP Solution
For employers currently using e-filing, the above functionality can be initiated by installing Note 987369. The correction was initially delivered in the following Support Packages:
SAP HR 46C SAPKE46CC3
SAP HR 470 SAPKE47068
SAP HR 500 SAPKE50034
SAP HR 600 SAPKE60017
Note 987369, contains the following detail:
Introduces new e-Filing In Year Movements functionality which allows you to submit your In-Year Movement (IYMV) data to the HMRC via Internet. The GB e-Filing In Year Movements functionality is for releases 4.6C to ERP 2005 (ECC 6.0).
The In Year movements include:
Leaver Notification (P45)
Starter Notification (P45(3) and P46)
PENNOT Notification (P160)
Leaver Notification (P45)
P45 Leaver Form for Single Employment. Existing Report RPCP45GN has been enhanced to support e-filing functionality.
P45 Leaver Form for Multiple Employment existing Report RPCP45GN_PRESELECTION has been enhanced to support e-filing functionality.
P45 (3) Starter Form and P46 Starter Form
A New Report RPUEFO_STARTER has been created to support e-filing of starter notification.
Prerequisite: Employee Starter data needs to be entered in Infotype 0065 (Starter details tab: P45 data or P46 Data) before running the report for the employee. For further information please refer to report documentation. The report can identify whether an employee needs to be given a P45 (3) or P46 form and generates xml file accordingly. Please note that P45 (3) can be issued even after issuing a P46 upon update of Infotype 0065 with P45 details.

SOA composite failing with unexpected element
Hello All
In OIM 11g R2PS2 and SOA 11.1.1.7, we have a custom workflow which sends an approval request to all members in a specific role e.g. Role1 at operational level. I took that workflow and added a switch case which will send an approval to same role Role1 and further extended it by adding a sequential stage which will also send to all members to another role e.g. Role2. Before this switch case, there is a business rule component. After I deploy the composite and a user raise a request, the request goes to the operational level and when it is approved the request fails with the following exception in the soa log -
==> f-0 initial-fact()
<Error> <oracle.soa.services.rules> <BEA-000000> <<.> Error while executing the rule session.

Expected elements are <{http://xmlns.oracle.com/RequestServiceApp/RequestDataService/RoleData}RoleData>,<{http://xmlns.oracle.com/RequestServiceApp/RequestDataService/RoleData}RoleKey>
This exception only occurs when I add the new changes - i.e. new switch case and sequential stage. I do not understand where I am going wrong. I am attaching some screen shots -
The workflowselection component is as follows -
Please give me any advice, I am not understanding anything. Thank You in advance.I am not quite following exactly what you are trying to accomplish but I have two things to look at.
1. When you added Role2 to the business rules, did you pass that in as a parameter? If so, did you remember to reflect that new parameter in the business rule and the bpel process?
2. In the copy rules from your screen shot, I see 3 slashes after catalogData. I would expect to see 2. However, it could be correct. I am not clear on exactly what is happening without seeing some actual source code. -
PO approval hierarchy working on one user and not on other
Hi all,
I am using an approval hierarchy with one preparer and one approver for Purchase order and requisition.
User A is preparer and User B approver.
Requisition hierarchy is doing fine but the Purchase Order Hierarchy gives this error on forewarding the PO..:: " PO Approval Top Process : Error, Wait for Concurrent Programme"
If i assign a different user to this Preparer, the process works fine.
What am i doing worng or what issue am i over looking.
Thanks in Advance.Found the solution.
Apperently on this installation, my preset named RegularExport should be found with name [RegularExport].
Strange that this works on on installation. -
I am using Project Server 2010 with SQL Server 2008 R2.
I have a PWA Instance which was running fine. I have a big number of projects and I do not keep site for all the projects as we do not need project site in our business.
Everything was running fine but during last few days, some of the jobs like Reporting (Project Publish) and Reporting (Project Delete) job is failing with the same error details for all the projects. I am not able to trace where the data is wrong/corrupt
and how to resolve it.
The error detail and ULS Log is given below anod I would appreciate if someone can guide me where the problem is and suggest me any solution.

Assuming that you are following best practices for SQL DB management, and this is not a DB neglect problem, then I would try to force a refresh to see if that
helps. You can do this by executing a custom field backup and then restore. Note: Do not do this during production hours. Let us know if that provides any therapy.

Scheduled Data Refresh fails with 400 error
I've setup a PowerPivot Model, connected 1.5 Million rows (57MB file) rendered the data in a powerpivot table and uploaded it to an PowerBI enabled BI site in O365.
Report renders online
Q&A works too
Configured data management gateway
Connected DMG to PowerBI
Configure data source with the same Connection String
Set credentials for data source with Status OK (only can do this step from a domain joined computer which I find odd)
Enabled Data Refresh on the Report with status OK (i.e. it found the corresponding data connection on the gateway)
Tried to manually refresh the data.... no luck. keeps on failing with the following error message
Failure Correlation ID: c1dcf840-e0c8-45d6-9720-b4d2c9695b5a
Errors in the high-level relational engine. The following exception occurred while the managed IDataReader interface was being used: The operation was canceled.;transfer service job status is invalid Response status code does not indicate success:
400 (Bad Request).. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.
Everything seems properly configured. lots of green ticks whenever I set things up. But manual refresh keeps on failing.I've reduced the query down to 100,000 records and now I'm getting
Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again. Correlation ID: 7e498494-95d0-4dff-84ed-ead169a5617e
The DMG is not even registering the attempt in the event logs.
Before at least I managed to get this:
Microsoft.DataTransfer.Common.Shared.HybridDeliveryException: The Data Transfer Service has encountered a fatal error when performing the data upload. ---> Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.StorageException: The client could not finish the operation within

So far my analysis is:
1.5M rows = won't even start pushing data and will timeout very early in the process
300,000 rows = will get past the initial timeout (probably the query identifying how much data needs to move), just to crash on the second timeout (actually pushing the data to the cloud). -

Any idea how to resolve this ??
Thanks,Based on the error trace
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "DEV_OIM"."REQUEST_APPROVALS"."APPROVAL_STATUS" (actual: 442, maximum: 32)
you are inserting a value too large for REQUEST_APPROVALS.APPROVAL_STATUS column. It should contain values like COMPLETED, approved, rejected etc... Check your custom approval process again.
