SOA composite failing with unexpected element

Hello All
In OIM 11g R2PS2 and SOA 11.1.1.7, we have a custom workflow which sends an approval request to all members in a specific role e.g. Role1 at operational level. I took that workflow and added a switch case which will send an approval to same role Role1 and further extended it by adding a sequential stage which will also send to all members to another role e.g. Role2. Before this switch case, there is a business rule component. After I deploy the composite and a user raise a request, the request goes to the operational level and when it is approved the request fails with the following exception in the soa log -

I am not quite following exactly what you are trying to accomplish but I have two things to look at.
1. When you added Role2 to the business rules, did you pass that in as a parameter? If so, did you remember to reflect that new parameter in the business rule and the bpel process?
2. In the copy rules from your screen shot, I see 3 slashes after catalogData. I would expect to see 2. However, it could be correct. I am not clear on exactly what is happening without seeing some actual source code.

I have used the notes in Metalink 1287904.1, but without resolution.
I am able to connect with sqlplus, with user sysman, without issues. There are no invalid objects under sysman.

A resolution to this would be apprciated.
Please note this problem is based on APEX 4. About to retest on APEX 3.2 to see if it is happening there.

Have back ported to 3.2 and the problem no longer occurs. Not sure what has changed between versions, but there are a number of links in the Assitant that fail with the above error in APEX 4.

Excel fails with unexpected error unless vba editor opened before running

i have an excel macro which fails with an unexpected error unless i open vba editor first
EXACT MESSAGE IS

what initialization takes place by opening vba editor that does not take place with out doing so?

As this is unusual behavior (not seen by most of us Excel users), and you indicate that it happens on multiple PCs (so it isn't something corrupt on just one machine), it seems likely that it is something specific to the code you are trying to run.
It might be helpful if you post your code, and specifically where you are placing the code (personal.xlsb, a regular module, a class module, behind a specific worksheet, or behind the "this workbook" object).
Also, how are you triggering the macro- are you running it from the macro dialogue box, a custom worksheet button, a userform, or something else?

Memtest86+ on T400 always fails with "Unexpected Interupt - Halting " message... anyone?

Due to various odd system errors on my T400, I wanted to run memtest86+ on it. However, after running a few tests, it dies after less than 5 minutes, with the "Unexpected Interrupt - Halting" message.
Has anyone got memtest86+ to work on a T400?

I don't have any good news for you here. Trying to run memtest86+ on my T400 showed somewhat random memory errors - that were false positives, and left the machine unable to boot cleanly. Full BIOS reset and a couple of boots seemed to fix it.
I suspect that memtest steps on areas of BIOS or device firmware that are mapped into memory that it doesn't exclude from its test.
Hopefully later versions will know how to avoid these areas, but for now you risk bricking your T400 by running memtest86, IMNSHO.
What do the built-in memory tests tell you? ISTR that there is one in the service partition somewhere.

Creating custom LAF - failing with 'unexpected error'

I'm trying to create a custom LAF based on the simple.desktop. I follow the steps for 'Create Look and Feel' and enter -

Description: Test LAF
Base Look and Feel: simple.desktop
click Next and the 'Customise Styles and Icons' page is displayed.
When I try and make any changes, or just go straight through to the 'Submit' I get an Error Page. Text is '

Prime Infrastructure 2.1 - User add failed : Some unexpected internal error has occurred.

Setting up Prime Infrastructure to manage 2504 WLC, trying to add Lobby Ambassador and I get this error message:
User add failed : Some unexpected internal error has occurred. If the problem persists please report to the Tech Support.
Technically, this is my second attempt at setting up PI. I set it up initially with the wrong version of PI and created a lobby ambassador. I followed the instructions from the forum with a similar problem that said to remove the trap receiver on the WLC from my first attempt at installing PI.

I'm now able to add a Lobby Ambassador as long as its not the same username that I created on the previous PI setup. So I suspect this Lobby Ambassador username is somewhere on the 2504 WLC, but I can't find it anywhere to remove it.

I have just been struggling with a similar issue on a fresh install of Prime 2.1 Upgraded to 2.1.1.
If I try to create the user with lobby ambassador role it just fails with "unexpected internal error".
I eventually found that by creating the user as a normal admin user first - the user is added. You can then go in a remove the admin role and change the role to lobby ambassador. This works with no internal error and the lobby admin user is working fine.
I would say it is just a bug.

Will B2B Adapter in SOA Composite receives fault when validation fails ?

Can any one clarify the following questions on B2B ?
1. Can B2B Adapter receive exception whenever validation fails on b2b console after data sent from SOA Composite? if not how can we implement fault to soa composite in case of fault in b2b console?
2. How can SOA Composite having b2b adapter configured with send operation know about fault happened in b2b console due agreement fail or validation fails or configuration fails?
3. How can we handle faults in case of inbound scenario?

Exception is handled in oracle b2b.
All the execeptions are sent to IP_IN_QUEUE( in case of AQ) and B2B_IN_QUEUE( in case of JMS) with the consumer as "b2berror".
You can configure your B2B adapter to pull out the exception messages in your soa composite.

Soa composite build failed

I am having trouble in JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 with Make on a simple composite project that is designed to invoke NotificationServices. An attempt to build the project fails with a classNotFoundException in the ant build (the log outputs are below).
I have tried adding other libraries (e.g. Commons Logging 1.0.4 and Commons Digester 1.7) on the project classpath, but that just leads to other classNotFoundExceptions - and I do not believe this is the right approach.
Is there some setting or step I am missing?

As mentioned earlier, I have tried adding several jars (with each iteration trying another...) without resolving the issue.
If I put all libraries on the path, it compiles - but throwing the kitchen sink at it doesn't seem like the right approach.
This leads me to believe that JDeveloper does not seem to provide the correct set in the template for a SOA project.
Do you know the list of jars/libraries that are required to develop a simple composite that invokes the EMail NotificationService?

I get following msg-box: "LoadLibrary failed with error 126: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden." Installation in German Language on WIN7 professional 64bit, Samsung SSD. What can I do to run that program?

What could be root cause of this? Can anyone please help to find the solution?
Even though both servers on same host why BAM connection is getting to much time and Putting server in warning state like :

*Do i need to modify any config file at Admin or BAM level? if Yes, what parameter Do i need to change?*

In Weblogic Admin console Home > Summary of Deployments >oracle-bam(11.1.1)
MDB application oracle-bam is NOT connected to messaging system with below error.

1. Will B2B Adapter receive operation having default protocol will trigger SOA Composite? if so how can we achieve it?Yes, it can trigger SOA composite. First deploy the inbound B2B agreement with no channels selected under Host TP channels dropdown and then deploy your SOA composite which is referring to the deployed doc-def. Run an inbound test and you should be good to go.
2. will Listening channel with JMS protocol do EDI------XML translation? if so what are the configuration that need to be done?Yes, you may translate native EDI to XML with JMS listening channel as well. Make sure that listening channel is not marked as internal and an inbound EDI agreement is deployed for corresponding EDI doc. Following custom JMS headers must be set so that B2B can identify the partner -
