IR email subscription issue

Hi,
The email subscription of all my interactive reports stop working after I upgrade my Apex version to 4.1.1. I don't know where to look for error messages?
Since this is happening in our production, please consider this request as "urgent" .
Please guide me to solve this issue.

Hi Eric,
I did test your solution and it worked.
The only extra step that I performed is setting "Yes" to "Export Interactive Report Subscriptions" under "Export Preferences" of Application export. After setting this I can see the following code in the exported .sql file.

    Running Service Manager 2012 SP1 RU4. We have a lot of email subscriptions set up to notify Support Groups when new tickets get assigned or the transfer of a ticket from one Support Group to another. The later is what I am interested in.
    When I create the subscription, I chose "When an object of the selected class is updated" and "Incident" for the Targeted Class.
    The Group/Queue Selection page which is next in the wizard has me confused. It says "Available queues" and all our Support Groups are listed with check boxes. What does this page actually do for you? I looked at many of our current subscriptions
    of this type and all the boxes are checked. About 25-30 in all.
    At first I thought that by selecting a queue here, it would allow me to select that queue in the criteria on the following page for Support Group but that doesn't seem to be the case. Even if I leave them all unchecked, I can still select any Support Group
    I want on the "Additional Criteria" page.
    Reason I am asking is because we seem to be experiencing some performance issues with SQL. Some workflows are randomly and intermittently not running or not running correctly. I have engaged MS and they believe it is SQL performance related. I am going through
    all our workflows as a result of that. I also keep getting event ID 33610 (Warning) and it indicates a query is taking longer than expected. I am trying to streamline Service Manager here and reduce any unnecessary load.

    It will most probably be sent, as you are selecting queues, but you are assigning to and from groups.
    Queues in SCSM play a security role, because they work in conjunction with SCSM user roles to constrain access to a single type of work item (incident, problem, change) based on specified criteria. 
    So to be more specific, a queue can only have one type of work item, sharing a common logic.
    In your case it won't matter whether you'll select or deselect the different queues, as you are specifying further criteria, based on Groups.
    Going back to the actual problem - there are some general ways to improve the overall performance:

    Those might help you further, but no matter what you do if your bottleneck is at the SQL server, you will not get rid of the symptoms. Sufficient IOPS and most important small latency is what you need. You can measure them using various tools.

    The doc does not mention a separator for the email addresses because we only support one email address per subscription. I have logged a task for our next release to look at expanding it and allowing multiple.

    Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library.
    I have tested the library using a standard email (with attachment) to the library and this works fine. 
    I have monitored the drop folder on the server and I can see both emails being picked up in drop and processed by SharePoint.  The email sent from a regular email account is uploaded with the attachment, whereas the email sent via SSRS subscription
    email is uploaded and the attachment (report) is missing.

    An update on this.  The email when sending from SSRS subscription is received in the library and the attachment is contained within the .EML file uploaded.
    The behaviour that I would like from SSRS subscription emails are to just have the document and not the email.

  • Email notification issue in some schemas

    My problem is almost identical as here DBMS_SCHEDULER send email notification issue
    One privileged scheduler user - user1 receive email notifications while two another (user2, user3) no.
    More plot is below i know 'what' resolve the problem but don't know how to do it :-)
    I want to execute code below on user3 schema, we tried this successfully on user2 (code executed directly on schema with temporary sys.dbms_aq access) so he receive his notifications.
    Problem is - we do not have direct access to second account (user3) how to execute this code as user3 ?

    Already tried create procedure on user3 and execute immediate annonymous block but it still register with USER# 1 not 3 in  DBA_QUEUE_SUBSCRIBERS.
    More detailed plot:
    Jobs for user2 and user3 was created by user1, so JOB_CREATOR was user1 but OWNER was user2 or user3.
    We started with notifications configuration witch was ended with error on both user2 and user3 accounts:
    ORA-24093: AQ agent SCHED$_AGT2$_XX not granted privileges of database user1
    W get rid wit this using
    dbms_aqadm.enable_db_access(SCHED$_AGT2$_2, user1);
    dbms_aqadm.enable_db_access(SCHED$_AGT2$_3, user1);
    So user1 get privilege on agents for user2 and user3
    I believe error was already there because DBMS_SCHEDULER.add_job_email_notification is more automatic it probably registered subscriber that belongs to user2 and user3 with wrong USER# ID that belongs to user1.
    Database is 11.2.0.3

    it doesn't work because notifications are set from user1 account so USER# is still 1 even when I removed record first.

    Why am i having email password issues? This is the email from [email protected] "Your account (email) could not be authenticated. If you have recently changed your email password, please enter the most current password in settings to continue receiving emails. You can enter the password 100 times a day and still will not receive emails.
    Anyone have an answer?

    Delete and re-add the account.  I just had the same thing happen, and that fixed it.  I think it was some error on Verizon's end.

The request is to send email For each site the report is running, email should sent to different recipients list. We have 97 different sites in the Site parameter.
       If Report is running for Site C004 the email should be sent to one recipient, if the Report is running for Site C007 , then the email should be sent to another recipient. Here we have been requested to do with Data-Driven Subscription. How to send the report as a email for each site for different Recipients using Data Driven EMail Subscription.
    Please give us a suggestion to overcome this problem.

    Thanks for your comments. We understand the Data Driven subscription, but we dont know how to write query for this subscription. here is our scenario.
    There are list of sites in the table. like C004, C007, C008 etc..... in the report,
    We have Site parameter (All Sites (default), C004, C007 etc....) and also date range parameter (Start Date, End date) (which are not defaulted in the report) and other 2 parameters. Here we need to send the report to different recipients based on the site. C004 report results should be develivered to one recipient, C007 site results should be delivered to another recipient and so on....
    As we are new to Data driven subscription, can you explain how to create table that will be saving the email recipients list and the query that we are specifying in the Data Driven Subscription. Please help us to how to create the data driven subscription for the above scenarion.

    According to your description, you want to use Yahoo SMTP to configure Email delivery extension for SSRS subscription.
    In your scenario, you should use virtual SMTP server feature in IIS to set Yahoo SMTP server. Then you should use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to minimally configure the extension. To set advanced properties, you must edit the RSReportServer.config
    file (default location: %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\<instance name>\Reporting Services\ReportServer).

    I have a Main report and a sub-report in SSRS, I need to send out an email every time a new entry is generated/added to the database...
    And I need to send the sub-report link in an email so the user could see the data for the new entry...
    Need to automate this process by building an SSIS package that works exactly like SSRS email Subscriptions...

    As Arthur said, in the SSIS package, you can use a Send Mail Task to send emails with the URL of the sub-report in the message source. Then, create a job to run the SSIS Package, and create a after insert trigger on the target database table to start the
    job once a new records is inserted into the target table. The script to create the trigger is like:

    AFTER INSERT
    AS
    EXEC msdb..sp_start_job
    @job_name=’JobName’;

    In addition, if you would like, you can run a SSRS report subscription to export a report to a shared folder, and then attach the exported file as the attachment of the mail when configuring the Send Mail Task.

  • Email subscriptions feature won't work.

    I'm trying to unsubscribe from community email subscriptions but the functionality doesn't work on the page. I tried to find an email address for skype but they've hidden it away so no one can contact them!

    I always think unsubscribe links should be using one-click link rather than a login+manage subscriptions. If someone has lost their login it means a lengthy process to get it back followed by figuring out someone's system before they can dream of turning off spam mails. I should also avoid using complicated javascript or plugins because if it doesn't work in someone's browser then they are stuck with getting spammed.
    Questions
    1. How do I submit a bug report.
    2. Is there a way of getting this page to work?

    You have found the right page. On http://community.skype.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-subscriptions%3Aemail-subscriptions you should see a list of all the topics you have subscribed to. Use the "Email Subscription Options" menu on top right to check all entries and then from the same menu "Delete Selected Subscriptions".
    Also you might want to check your community user preferences at http://community.skype.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-preferences and check the setting "Automatically subscribe me to topics I participate in".
    Currently we don't have a one-click unsubscribe link in our notification emails. Thanks for your feedback on this. We are looking into adding that.
    Should you still have problems with using that page can you please share a screenshot?
    Also from your explanation I don't understand if you have disabled JavaScript or not.

    Did you change the ID, or did you create a new Apple ID? If you had simply changed the ID then what I suggested above should work as the ID itself is the same (even though the name of the ID - the address - has changed).
    However if you created a new ID, logged in with that, and purchased items on it, then you have two separate IDs each with purchased associated with them. You say that you can't log in to the original account with the 'alternate' email - have you tried logging in with the original email address? It doesn't matter if it doesn't actually work to receive mail, as far as logging in is concerned it's just a text string.
