Is it a correct way to get oracle skin?

I have created a custom skin by coping oracle’s css file (oracle-desktop-10_1_3_1_0-en-ie-6-windows-s) from the cache memory of the solution of SRDEMO application. Then registered that with a name (eg MySkin) in adf-faces-skin.xml and configured an application to use this new skin.
When I did the SRDEMO again with the new skin that I created, the pages look completely different even though I didn’t modify the original skin copied from the solution of SRDEMO.
1.     Why does it give different look and feel?
2.     Is it a correct way to create a custom skin?
3.     If the answer to the question is no, is there any way to get oracle skin?

I don’t think that I messed up the configuration file. I have done the following.
1. Copied css file from cache and saved that file as css/myskin.css
2. Then I registered myskin.css in adf-faces-skins.xml as follows

What is the correct way to get a domain's SID in Active Directory?
I need to get the domain SID in order to build several of the well known SIDs (by appending the specific RID onto the domain SID).
I've retrieved the objectSid value for the root domain object, which has a hex value of

But this has a top level authority of 04, and I believe it should be 05.
A domain admin user's tokenGroups value for the Domain Admins group is:

which has an 05 top level authority.

You may want to refer to the post titled "JNDI, Active Directory and SID's (Security Identifiers)" available at http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=585031&tstart=150 which also contains a reference on microsoft.com to the byte format of the SID.
The value you are mistakenly referring to (bytes 1 & 2) is not the top level authority, but rather it is the count of sub-authorities.
In this example, your domain sid has 4 sub-authorities whereas an object such as the well known group you have referred to; Domain Admins, has 5 sub-authorities.
You may also find it easier to use the string form of the SID, rather than the byte form.

What's the correct way to get changes in my iTunes library to sync to my iPod

It's been a few years since I've used itunes, so please bear with me.
I'm trying to get my ipod setup but something seems weird. In the past, if I made changes to my itunes library, then plugged in my ipod, those changes would immediately sync. It's not doing that now. When I plug the ipod in, I click on the ipod symbol near the top-right to get to the connected ipod. If I click on "on this ipod" I can clearly see that the old files/metadata are still present. When I click the "sync" button down at the bottom (next to the storage bar) nothing happens. If I click on "Music" near the top (between Summary and Movies) there's a check-box next to "Sync Music" but when I click that it says "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, movies, and tv shows from this ipod and sync with this itunes library?". I don't want to have to wipe the thing clean and then re-write EVERYTHING again every time I want to make a change, that's crazy.
So what am I missing here? Is there some setting that would make it work the way it did in the past, automatically syncing changes as soon as I plug in the ipod? If not, what's the best way to get the changes to sync over without having to wipe the ipod clean every time? Does the "Sync Music" option I mentioned not actually remove everything, but just sync any changes that were made? That's the only thing I can come up with.

It shouldn't wipe everything but it will make the iPod match what you have selected in iTunes. So if it's on your iPod now and also in iTunes, it won't remove it then re-add it.

How do I get it to stay checked then? I've checked it and gone through the sync process, but every time I go back to that window, it's un-checked again, and I have to sync manually.
Ok, that's what I was hoping, it just syncs any changes. I've done it this way a couple times but couldn't tell for sure if it was just removing then re-adding evertying or if it was just syncing changes.

Just type the utility/command and you should get the version. Here is an example:

What is the correct way to get a machine serviced?

Initially, my machine had an issue with the backlight, and the local dealer replaced the logic board which did nothing, so I took it back and they replaced the screen, but after replaceing the screen, the "closed lid" sensor no longer works and the machine will only sleep from software, not when the lid is closed. They won't return my calls, and they seem pretty inept anyhow.

I took the machine to the other dealer here in town to see if they would fix it, and after holding on to it for 3 days, they said it wasn't a hardware problem--I should reinstall the operating system. Not a terrible idea, especially given how much time has been wasted on this already. I'm not a big fan of the idea of not having a computer for however long it takes 2 cross-country shippings and a repair, but it seems whether I get it don't locally or not, that's the only option left.

Correct Way to Look at ROWID value

I found some sql and modified it that is suppose to allow you to look at the ROWID info of a table
Can someone tell me why this does not work and what would be the correct way to get the info based on the ROWID ?
Evertyime I generate the ROWIDs and try to enter one into the second SQL statement, I get nothing back

well i am using thread based processes into oracle and some of my users are getting CGI timeouts or else getting tired of waiting and trying to do the same task again through my web app so they try it again causing a lock problem
I can see what is being locked down to the table but i wanted to know what data is being locked when trying to get updated, so i thought i could use the ROWID to look at the entry

What is the Text Book correct way to do a spot uv merging multiple applications and exporting from 1

I am unsuccesssfully finishing a project using Spot UV and about to start another. I want to start this one out the Text Book correct way. Here are the details.
I have logo's coming from Illustrator that I want to have a spot UV on
I have photos coming from photoshop that I want a spot UV on
I have a design element in In Design that I want a spot UV on
What is the Correct way to get everything into In Design have it output to a PDF that a printer could use and a second one that I could use for the Web that does not show the spot uv
A note is that the last project I followed all the tutorials on the web that say to use channels in photoshop to make my spot UV that in the end I think is causing me a lot of headaces right now.

Put the spot UV on its own layer in InDesign. Turn it off for the web version of the PDF.

I am trying to get the text written into the text box in the AWTFrame.
I have tried the following:

Correct way to install patch in Oracle RAC

Hello,
What is the correct way to install a patch in an two-node Oracle RAC 11g on Windows server 2008? Each node has its own ORACLE_HOME.
Do I have to shut down one Node before I patch the other Node?
Or both nodes can be up when installing patch? First do it on Node 1 and then on Node2?

Typically you can do a rolling upgrade, patch one node, then the next node without bringing down the entire cluster, but as rui_catcuddler suggested, follow the Oracle instructions as closely as possible.
We have found several bugs with RAC 11gR2 on Windows 2008 R2, some minor, some critical. If this is your Oracle version and platform then try to get to the latest Oracle RAC release 11.2.0.3.

Is there a way to get the correct order from the dependent types of a sche

I have a CT facing the following problem:
When trying to built a SQL script to create all the object types within a schema using the DBMS_METADATA packages.
Did insert in a table the names of the types that will be exported following a concrete order, next loop into the table and call the DBMS_METADATA package for each row.
These type are depedent between them, there are some type attributes calling other types and here the issue
First : try to generate the order by created column of dba_objects and when the generated SQL script is launched a lot of type appearing as incomplete state due to the order isn't correct.
Second : try to insert the table ordering by object_id colums of dba_tables view, it appears incomplete types too.
Currently want to insert the table using a recursive query with connect by against the dba_type_attrs starting with the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null (the types that are called by other types), but this way has a issue dificult to resolve: the roots of hierarchy are the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null and we've dependencies between roots nodes
The question is is there a way to get the correct order from the dependent types of a schema?
Platform: IBM SP AIX
DB version: 9.2.0.7

The xxx_dependencies view should give you the dependencies betwee nthe various types. I would look at something along the lines of:
SELECT object_name, referenced_name
FROM (SELECT o.object_name, d.referenced_name

            o.object_type = d.type(+) and
            d.referenced_type(+) = 'TYPE' and

Is there any way of getting back from a wrong clicked free trial to add my serial number correctly?

On purchasing a new imac I copied the apps across & on opening CS6 was requested to load serial numbers, through tiredness I added the seria; number from CS5.5 and therefore not recognised for the CS6, then when about to enter again through tiredness I must have clicked free trial and now have the CS6 in that format.
Is there any way of getting back to that initial box to load the correct numbers & get out of trial as although it works I need it set up correctly?

You must go in the labview option menu, you can select 'use the local
separator' in the front side submenu (LV6i).
If you use the "From Exponential/Fract/Eng" vi, you are able to select this
opton (with a boolean) without changing the labview parameters.

I cannot get itunes to work/install on myPC. I am running windows 8 in a 64 bit machine. I also want to purchase books via itunes for my Nook. Is there a list of decal errors or a way of getting them corrected?

I notice that there are a number of errors either in Multisim decals or in the mapping of pins between Multisim and Ultiboard. Is there a way of getting these corrected in the Master database? My user database is getting quite large with just error corrections and I have to be careful to not grab the part from the Master database.
Examples: Multsim decal for NJM13700, pins 15 and 16 are reversed and pins 1 and 2.
2N7000: pins D & S are reversed in Ultiboard.
2SC1815: pins B & E are reversed in Ultiboard.
There are many more.

Correct way to export uncompressed to get a product aired on TV

Hello all,
just finished editing a 50 minute doc that will be aired on Greek TV
I edited with most of my footage beeing DV-pal 16:9 so I edited on a sequence with these kind of settings.
I exported a "current settings" version and took it to an AVID and recorded a BETASP tape with that.
but people tell me that I should export uncompressed for better results
I just did, but instead I get about 20 files all sized about 2 GB, they are name like I named the project but project av1, project av2 etc
the last file has the name of the project is a playable mov file, but it's only 2.6 GB big.
The current setting export was 11.5 GB, the uncompressed TEST I did for one (1) minute of footage to test the size requirements was 1.3 GB, so IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO ME to have the 50 min documentary sized 2.6 GB
1) What am I doing wrong? if anything
2) whats the best export way to get broadcast quality and view the project just like on my Mac?
3) the uncompressed export changes my aspect ratio into streched 4:3, but I guess that players can fix that ....right?
Any help would be musch appreciated, people in here saved me on deadlines more than once...thank you in advance

so all the shopping channels must have full EBU spec studios cameras and gallery the sound and picture quality is as good as a studio based drama
