Is it possible to acquire/instantiate LDAPJAZNProvider outside oc4j app ?

I want to administer users in the JAZN context. Apparently I cannot do that in the OIDDAS console. So I want to do it in a java application. How do I specify the OID location and how do I require the LDAPJAZNProvider ? Is the latter done via a command line switch ?
TIA.

If the classes are being called from within a jsp. you can retrieve the params from within the jsp and pass it along to the class methods on invocation. Note to set up init params, you'll have to register the jsp in your web.xml as a servlet using the <jsp-file> tag instead of the <servlet-class> tag

  • Is it possible to read archive files outside of SAP?

    Hi Experts,
    I would like to read SAP archived data (*.ARCHIVE.ARCHIVING)  with non-SAP application. I already know, that data is automatically compressed (and maybe encrypted?).
    My question: Is there some possibility to read archive files outside of SAP? I suppose that would be needed to do some decompress first.
    Your help is appreciated. Thank you!
    Jan

    Hi Stefan,
    Thanks for your reply. I found some points with your hint. Some summary for others:
    460620 - Migrating archive files:
    "Archived data may have to be migrated. One solution is to perform an SLO service archive migration. You can also perform an archive migration for archive files using the Archive Development Kit (ADK)."
    153433 - Access to archived data from other logical systems
    "For data security reasons, the ADK checks whether an archive file was created in the same system and client where it is to be read. If the client, system or file key do no longer correspond to the meta data that were valid at the time of archiving, you can no longer always access the archive file, particularly for reloading. If only the system ID changes when a new installation due to a system copy is carried out, read accesses are still possible. No solution is provided in the standard system. The access to archive files from other logical systems must be taken into account and carried out in a migration project."
    Unfortunately, I still do not know if it is possible to read archived data outside of SAP.
    Best Regards,

    A Mac Mini s a computer you can use with the iPad.
    YO do not need a computer fro backup since yo can backup to iCloud.
    However, sometimes software glitches occur and require connecting the device to a compute to restore vi iTuunes.
    You can control a computer via an iPod with an app like TeamViewer or LogMeIn. There are others too.
    You can also use an iPad a a SECONDAY monitor for a computer. with other apps.
    You need a dedicated monitor,  keyboard and mouse to setup the Mini. You can use a PC USB mouse and keyboard.

    you might be able to block it if the app uses Internet access

    When you go to Starbucks, you'll need to first go to Settings on your iPad and choose Network. You'll see ATTWIFI as one of the available networks. When you click on that to select it, you should be immediately sent to AT&T's sign in page. You just need to check the box that says you agree to their terms and conditions and then hit the Connect button and you'll be online. One warning, however. If your Starbucks is anything like those in Manhattan, be prepared for really slow wifi. It can be a real pain waiting for pages to load sometimes.

  • Is it possible to deploy multiple sharepoint provider hosted apps into one azure website??

    Is it possible to deploy multiple sharepoint provider hosted apps into one azure website??
    Rohit Pasrija

    I am faced with a similar requirement although the hosting environment for the provider hosted apps would be an IIS web server in our own infrastructure.
    Would it be advisable to use a common IIS website to host multiple apps? The MVC web application which will provide functionality
    for the apps is already in place which is why we are checking for options to use the same web project for multiple apps.
    Can the web config file's clientID be shared by multiple apps?

  • Is it possible to acquire audio data in Real-Time using a standard sound card?

    For the control of a Laser manufactoring process it is necessary to acquire and analize the typical sound. I realized this with a normal Soundblaster Card using the "SI CONFIG/READ.VI". The only disadvantage is that short parts of the signal are always missing because of the finite buffer size. Is it possible to optimize this without buying a DAQ card?

    Labview RT works with three different types of targets:
    -RT series DAQ (Traditional Data Acquisition board with a processor board attached to it. Connects on a PCI slot of your machine)
    -Field Pointistributed modules for Data Acquisition
    -PXI factor: Systems where you need a chassis and a controller then you can start filling the slots with the type of hardware that you need for your application.
    Then using a traditional SoundBlaster Card to acquire data under Labview RT is not going to be possible at the moment.

  • Possible to create presentation objects outside of JDeveloper?

    Is it possible to create BI presentation objects (graphs, tables, crosstabs) outside of JDeveloper? I have been searching OTN forums, BI Beans javadoc and the OLAP API guide and have not found whether this is possible. I have seen where you can programatically create BI OLAP objects like queries and calculations, but not if/how you can create presentation objects.
    Regards,
    Steve Locke

    Got it! I was able to extend the "New Presentation" sample to allow users to save their newly-created presentations back to the BI catalog. Here's how:
    1) add a menu item for "Save"; add a listener for it
    m_mnuSave = new JMenuItem("Save...");
    m_mnuSave.setMnemonic('S');
    fileMenu.add(m_mnuSave, 4);
    m_mnuSave.addActionListener(new ActionListener() {
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
    mnuSave_ActionPerformed(e);
    2) in mnuNew_ActionPerformed, add code to save the presentation to a module-level variable
    Dataview dv = npw.getDataview();
    m_objPresentation = npw.getDataview(); // new code
    3) write the Save action handler
    void mnuSave_ActionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
    String sName = "";
    int result = 0;
    if (m_objPresentation == null)

  • Possible to generate DDL from outside of JDeveloper?

    Hi:
    I was wondering if it is possible to have a build script somehow generate the DDL for a database from the model files that JDeveloper creates (in the same way one would run a SQL Plus script from the command line passing a .sql file for it). This is desirable because my project wants to keep a database schema under CM but not multiple files that have to be kept in sync (like the model files AND the DDL).
    Thanks.

  • Is it possible to acquire string data from PLC through LabVIEW?

    Hi All,
    I am using Labview 8.6 and modbus library to communicate with a Allen Bradley PLC and exchange data. the screenshot of library and its usage is attached. the operations possible right now with this library are r/w of bits and bytes. Now there is a requirement to transfer the log table inside PLC to the labview. Using the available provisions in the library, there is no method to read the PLC memory which stores the log table. So I am left with the option of copying the log table memory into input registers and reading input registes into Labview, continuing until 128K of log data is read. But this doesnt really appear neat. Is there any other way of transferring Log table data into Labview?
    Is there any other forum in which I can ask this question?
    Thanks.

    I had a project to communicate with omron plc with opc server.
     ni opc server configration window,you can config the tag with storage address you wanted.then you can connect your labview application to plc through opc server.
    by this way, i can read and write most of the data type,including string.
    your labview application act as the client for the opc server.
    sorry for my poor english.

  • Possible to invoke an executable outside of AIR?

    Is it possible to launch an executable from an AIR
    application? I've searched everywhere but can't find anything. I
    want to use an AIR application to formulate a string of arguments
    that get passed to an executable. For example, the simplistic
    approach would be to open a command line, pass the string
    "c:\application.exe /if="c:\input.xml" /of="c:\output.xml" and let
    the command line utility execute it. Or I could call
    application.exe from AIR and pass it the arguments skipping the
    command line altogether. Either way is fine, but can either be
    done?

    One workaround I've finally gotten around to implementing....
    I wrote a small webserver that my air app downloads and drops
    into the user's startup folder. When the user reboots, the server
    begins executing. I can then invoke system commands by simply
    hitting a well-defined url on the local webserver.
    It's reasonably secure, as it only knows how to execute a
    fixed set of commands that are pre-programmed into the server, and
    I can customize the server to invoke the cmds I need for a
    particular application.
    It could be easily modified to be more generic in what it
    executes, but there's more of a security risk in that.

  • Is it possible to add an inside/outside stroke to a clipping mask?

    I'm pretty new to Illustrator so there's a chance this is a stupid question, but I'm pretty stumped on this. If I have a path with a stroke that is set to either inside or outside, it disappears if I draw something inside of it to convert it into a clipping mask. The stroke shows up again if I align it to center, but even this seems to have some quirks as it won't display multiple strokes.  After searching the web for a bit this is the best description/example I've been able to find for this problem: http://blog.rockymountaintraining.com/?p=2186.
    Does anyone know if there's a work around to get inside/outside strokes or multiple strokes to work correctly in this scenario? If not, is there a logical reason for this or is there a bug?
    Thanks for your help!

    Seems to be a long-term bug that I hadn’t noticed before.
    You can of course rectify it by copying the masking path, deselecting and pasting to front.
    Then you can give the path any stroke you like.
