I want to correct my student's works in acrobat (pdf files). Is it possible to create a list of standard comments i can reuse when i want?
it's often the same comments I have to use.

Not easily... This would require developing a custom plugin, which is quite complicated. There are simpler ways to achieve something like this, though. For example, you can create a set of customized stamps and use those. A script can also be used to add or edit existing comments, but it depends on what type of comments you're using and how you want to edit them, exactly.

I know how to do that. I don't want to have to take the time to search through the gazillion addresses in my address book to find each one and then drag or type them into the list. My question was is there away to have all the addresses in the "To" field used to create a list by - for instance - somehow selecting all of these addresses and saying create a list from them. Or clicking on an option that would give me the ability to create a list from all the addresses in the "To" field of a specific email. Thanks.

Is it possible to create a list of the contents of a portfolio
I have the need to create a number of portfolios with different files based on the need of the individual in the organization and subject to document control procedures. As part of the document control procedure, I have to identify what versions of what documents are contained in the portfolio issued to each individual.
Is there an automated way to create or print a table of contents or list of contents of a portfolio?

Since I’m a visual person, I wanted
to make it clear where these properties are found by posting a picture.
I also wanted to clarify and say
that these properties show the global channels and tasks saved on your system.
They do not indicate which are used by a specific VI. This is because global
channels are not bound to any particular VI. Any indicator you could include in
your VI would just return the names that are being assigned as inputs. So the
best way to know what’s being used in your VI is to look at what the inputs
are.

How do i create a list of frequencies +/- a peak output as ascii file?
I have an VI set up that reads in from a Spectrum Analyzer and searches for the peaks and outputs them along with there amplitudes as an ASCII file.
A Macro has been created in Excel that reads the ASCII file and creates a list of 5 frequencies +/- the peak frequencies above a threshold to be tested later. The problem is that it has some frequencies
created more than once.
Is it possible to create this list in the VI that would filter the list and then output it to excel to be printed later?ChrisKalina wrote:

Of course it is possible to do this. What have you tried so far?
One problem you will have, though, is that LV 5 is such an ancient version, many people on the forums will have trouble being able to open your file, and almost no one will have the means to save back that far. So you may have a hard time getting help. -

Is it possible to create nested lists in Sharepoint 2013?
My requirement is to create a list for some groups like (group1, group2,group3 etc..).
This list will have 3 columns for group name, type and description.
And when a group is selected I want to see another list in it with some columns like user properties.
Is this possible? I am a SharePoint power user, so please excuse if this is an unusual question!

However you can have lookup columns which bring data from other lists. This basic relational structure may grant what you want.
Alternatively, Managed Metadata fields can be used to create a hierarchy several levels deep.

I was hoping there would be something similar for the user-defined cross-reference formats. I've also created a list of the cross-references, but I'm looking for a list of the actual formats.

Hi, Pamela:
Search Google for "squidds AND FrameMaker" with quotes and capital AND to find their commercial Toolbox tool that seems to claim it can do this. It's not cheap, however.
The free way is to:
* Save a FrameMaker file with FIle > Save As > MIF.
* Search Google for terms like "FrameMaker MIF manual online pdf" without quotes, and search within it for "cross-reference formats" without quotes to see how the formats are encoded.
* Search Google for "mifbrowse.zip" to find a tool that can help you find the term in a FrameMaker file you save as MIF. Open mifbrowse and use File > Open to locate the MIF file, or drag the MIF file from a Windows Explorer window into mifbrowse's left pane. Click Search and type in the term you've found in the MIF manual, that identifies the beginning of the collected formats.
* Copy and paste the format definitions. You may need to translate some of the notations in the formats. I can't remember where to look for them, but if you have trouble, start a new thread with some of the puzzling notations and ask where to find translations.

For bulk emailing, I use the application SerialMailer which will import a group from your Address Book into its data base. The application is easy to use and hyperlinks are set by using the formatted text option.

How do I create a "place" in iPhoto's Places list? Is this possible the way it's possible to create albums? Also, how do I assign a place to a photo or vice versa?
Select a Photo in the iPhoto Window and click on the 'i' button lower right. This uncovers the Info Panel, and you can assign a Place there. Search on the name of the place and then move the pin to where you want it. This is all covered in the Help and in the tutorials.

How to create a list based on a value in multiple sheets
I am trying to create a list in numbers that references a common value among multiple sheets. I have 4 sheets created for a fantasy football league (1 sheet for QB, 1 for Running Back, 1 for Wide Receiver and 1 for Tight End). I have assigned a value to each player listed on each individual sheet. I would like to create a 5th sheet that lists the players in order from highest to lowest value as they are marked on their position sheet. How would this be done in Numbers?

I named the four data tables "QB", "RB", "TE", and "WR", and the 5th table, for lack of a better name "Summary".
NOTE: The first row OF EVERY TABLE is a header.

Using a newly created Library document to create a list item and attach itself
I have a workflow that moves a document from one library to another.
When a document is moved to a certain library I want to create a list item with a link to the document in the list item. Keep in mind there could be 10 files submitted to the library, so then in my list I would want 10 new list items created for
each file, with a link to the individual file. or is there a way to attach the document to a newly created list item programmatically?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to use a newly created Library document to create a list item and attach itself.
I recommend to create a workflow assocaited to the second library, and start the workflow automatically when an item is created.
