Is it possible to create a list of NI-DAQmx tasks used in a VI in LV7.1?

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a built in function for Labview 7.1 that would allow me to generate a list of DAQmx tasks or global channels that are being used in the VI.

Since I’m a visual person, I wanted
to make it clear where these properties are found by posting a picture.
I also wanted to clarify and say
that these properties show the global channels and tasks saved on your system.
They do not indicate which are used by a specific VI. This is because global
channels are not bound to any particular VI. Any indicator you could include in
your VI would just return the names that are being assigned as inputs. So the
best way to know what’s being used in your VI is to look at what the inputs
are.

For example, you can create a set of customized stamps and use those. A script can also be used to add or edit existing comments, but it depends on what type of comments you're using and how you want to edit them, exactly.

Is it possible to create a list of the contents of a portfolio

I have the need to create a number of portfolios with different files based on the need of the individual in the organization and subject to document control procedures. As part of the document control procedure, I have to identify what versions of what documents are contained in the portfolio issued to each individual.
Is there an automated way to create or print a table of contents or list of contents of a portfolio?

Is it possible to create a list using the addresses in the "TO" list from a received email?

I have a very large group I'd like to create an email list for. I don't want to have to search in my address book for every address that needs to go into it. Is there away that I can use an email that I've received which has been sent to every member I want in the list - all are listed in the "To" portion of the header - and create a list from those addresses? I know how to do that. I don't want to have to take the time to search through the gazillion addresses in my address book to find each one and then drag or type them into the list. My question was is there away to have all the addresses in the "To" field used to create a list by - for instance - somehow selecting all of these addresses and saying create a list from them. Or clicking on an option that would give me the ability to create a list from all the addresses in the "To" field of a specific email. Thanks.

It is possible, But it has to be done through codes and iPlanet Web Server has nothing to do with it. But if you want to create the word document by ASP you have to install ASP plugin like ChilliASP (from Chilisoft) with iPlanet Web Server.Merging with database can be done through your code.

Create Custom list form and validate fields using sharepoint designer 2010

Hi All,
I have a requirement to create a custom job application form which will be filled and submitted by anonymous users. I have a an option to create custom user control web part but I wanted to
create it using custom list form using SharePoint designer. My requirement is below
Date of birth (user age should be above 22yrs )
Email Validation
Phone validation
Resume attachment (should attach only word documents or PDF)
Qualification (If other is selected then show textbox else hide)
Can above validations be done using SharePoint designer (JavaScript or validation controls)? Or do I have to create custom control web part?

I think jquery/javascript can be used to put validations on those fields. Fortunately some of validation can be done via sharepoint itself like: email, phone, age. For Attachment and Qualification fields use jquery/JS.

I'd like to sent some metadata presets to a friend using a pc. Can she simply add the presets or are they incompatible between mac and pc? If it's possible, I'd like to tell her the location where she has to place them, but I don't have a pc. could someone tell me the path on the pc side?

That depends on the O/S she uses, file locations for different O/S's are shown here. Best is to go to Preferences and click "Show Lightroom Presets Folder". Within the folder shown, there is a a folder called "Metadata Presets", which is where they have to be copied to. On Win7/Vista, this is "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Metadata Presets\".

This would be the solution, however the client would like groups to be able to use the printer at different times(i.e.- Group1 has access from 9-5 and Group2 has access from 8-3). Would three printers pointed at the same IP be pooled together and work
properly with different permissions?

We are students trying to replicate the output of a photovoltaic cell. We have developed our LabView software to read
both current and voltage across a load but we are not sure how to chart both these real time values. We have found a

Sorry, you should be a bit more specific. What do you mean by "use"? Can you give an example?
If you want to call the subVI with the dial position as a parameter, just make a connector for it.
If you want to read the dial position from within the subVI, make a connector for a reference to the control and read the value in the subVI via a value property.

How do i create a list of frequencies +/- a peak output as ascii file?

I have an VI set up that reads in from a Spectrum Analyzer and searches for the peaks and outputs them along with there amplitudes as an ASCII file.
A Macro has been created in Excel that reads the ASCII file and creates a list of 5 frequencies +/- the peak frequencies above a threshold to be tested later. The problem is that it has some frequencies
created more than once.
Is it possible to create this list in the VI that would filter the list and then output it to excel to be printed later?

Of course it is possible to do this. What have you tried so far?
One problem you will have, though, is that LV 5 is such an ancient version, many people on the forums will have trouble being able to open your file, and almost no one will have the means to save back that far. So you may have a hard time getting help.

Create a list in another list

Hi,
Is it possible to create nested lists in Sharepoint 2013?
My requirement is to create a list for some groups like (group1, group2,group3 etc..).
This list will have 3 columns for group name, type and description.
And when a group is selected I want to see another list in it with some columns like user properties.
Is this possible? I am a SharePoint power user, so please excuse if this is an unusual question!

You can't nest lists.
However you can have lookup columns which bring data from other lists. This basic relational structure may grant what you want.
Alternatively, Managed Metadata fields can be used to create a hierarchy several levels deep.

Is it possible to create a list of used/unused cross-reference formats?
I've been able to create a list of paragraph tags used in a book file, which was very helpful in my current project. I was hoping there would be something similar for the user-defined cross-reference formats. I've also created a list of the cross-references, but I'm looking for a list of the actual formats.

Search Google for "squidds AND FrameMaker" with quotes and capital AND to find their commercial Toolbox tool that seems to claim it can do this. It's not cheap, however.
The free way is to:
* Save a FrameMaker file with FIle > Save As > MIF.
* Search Google for terms like "FrameMaker MIF manual online pdf" without quotes, and search within it for "cross-reference formats" without quotes to see how the formats are encoded.
* Search Google for "mifbrowse.zip" to find a tool that can help you find the term in a FrameMaker file you save as MIF. Open mifbrowse and use File > Open to locate the MIF file, or drag the MIF file from a Windows Explorer window into mifbrowse's left pane. Click Search and type in the term you've found in the MIF manual, that identifies the beginning of the collected formats.
* Copy and paste the format definitions. You may need to translate some of the notations in the formats. I can't remember where to look for them, but if you have trouble, start a new thread with some of the puzzling notations and ask where to find translations.

Is it possible to create a Master Form?

Hello... i am using Acrobat Pro 8.6. I was wondering if it might be possible to create a master form. I am using a form to receive artwork approval from my customers. My question is if I can use my proof form to create a form and use that form every single time. Only issue is I have to chante my proof form with the customers information and add their ad on to the form. All the areas that need the form fields will not change so I wasn't sure if its possible to just save all the field forms so that I can use it every time I open a new proof? Is this possible? If not, does anyone have a good idea on how to accomplish this without having to create a new form for every single customer we have, its a lot?

Thanks for responding... when you copy the form, and I open up a new document and paste the form fields right into my new document? Is that what you mean, this may work. My proof sheet is created in Illustrator and I bring that into Acrobat to create the form. The form fields will not change, but the Illustrator file will always change. I just don't want to have to create a form every time, it takes a little bit of time. LOL
