Is it possible to create a reference to an interfece in java?

Hi ,
If any one known give repley.

If any one known give repley.You can only instantiate what's fully concrete and that can only be a class (possibly implementing the interface you have in mind). You can make use of an anonomous class to make it look like you're instantianting an inteface like.
MyInterface mi = new MyInterface() {
public void method1() {} // all interface methods must be implemented
};In the above code a concrete object (with no name) is created "on the fly" implementing the interface. It's assigned to a variable of the interface type.

Thanks! I was mislead by the API notes for java.util.jar:

• Create object reference by name

I wish to disable and enable a bunch of controls on the front panel. Instead of creating hard-wired property nodes, I wish to cycle through an array of string names of controls and set the corresponding control's property. Is it possible to create a reference on the fly based on a string? The reference will then be fed to a Property node. Or is there an alternative way for my problem?

See the image below for a better example.
This one provides a list of all the controls on the front panel. See the names of the labels appears in the ArrayofCtrls.
RayR
You can create a subvi of this. Replace ThisVI by a control. You then wire This VI from the calling VI. Or, you can get fancy and wire a pathname to the appropriate function which replaces ThisVI in the above example. You can then obtain front panel listings for other VI's. The possibilities are alomost endless

• Create a Table Dynamically in WEB Dynpro Java with diferent type of column

Hi everyone, I have a question if is possible to create a table dynamically in Web Dynpro Java?, depending of the RFC consults create the rows dynamically, ,this table must have diferent type of columns, for example link column (when the user click this link execute an action and show a adobe interactive form in another view), image column (show an image depending of the information)
Thank you everyone
Atte Israel

Hello,Israel.
Yes , it is possible through dynamic programming in wdModify of the View.
You can do this ,for example, using cell variants.
IWDTable tab = (IWDTable) view.getElement("TABLE_NAME");
IWDTableStandardCell cellV= (IWDTableStandardCell) view.createElement(IWDTableStandardCell.class,"TableStandardCell"+i);
cellV.setVariantKey("NotEditableVariant");
cellV.setCellDesign((WDTableCellDesign)wdContext.nodeTableDaysTitle().currentTableDaysTitleElement().getAttributeValue("CellDesign"+i));
IWDTextView textViewi= (IWDTextView) view.createElement(IWDTextView.class,"TextView"+i); // -- here you control the type of the object that is displayed in the cell
textViewi.bindText(dayAttrib);
cellV.setEditor(textViewi);
tabColumn.addCellVariant(cellV);
tab.addGroupedColumn(tabColumn,tab.numberOfGroupedColumns());
Using this code you can control even specific cells in the table and not only columns.
Hope this helps you,
Constantine

• Is it possible to create a new tab in 'Default settings for items' option?

Hi everybody
I am Raghu working in EBP2.0 & I have come across a difficlty and that is of creating a new tab and also the fields 'GL a/c', 'cost centre' or 'internal order' in this new tab.
First of all please let me know whether is it possible to create a new tab for these fields.
The purpose of this new tab is to default the cost centre and GL account with reference to shopping cart.
As per current scenario, user has to enter the cost centre & the GL code as many times as the number of items in a shopping cart. I mean, if you have 10 items in your shopping cart then 10 times user has to input the cost centre & GL account. To avoid this we are required to add new tab so that per shopping cart we can enter the GL account & cost centre only once.
Your immediate response would be very much apprecited.
Regards
Raghu

hi Ram & Sreenivas
Thanks for your immediate response.
Ram, we can default GL a/c & cost centre in org structure since client wants to us to keep the option of entering these for every shopping cart.
Sreenivas, I checked the 'copy to clipboard' option & its not there in EBP2 and I feel what you meant as cost centre tab is account assignment tab.
Let me explain you more clearly about this requirement.
Current Scenario
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.User has to enter cost centre & GL code 5 times & then he can order
Required scenrio
1.Say a user has added 5 items to his SC.
2.As per the proposed functionality, user will click on 'Default settings for items' button. Three tabs will appear-->Basic data, Internal note & Delivery Address.
We have to provide a new tab here where in user will default his GL & cost centre for this shopping cart & then order. This will help user to avoid entering GL & cost centre 5 times.
For some reasons our client is not interested in defaulting this data.
Please help in this regard if time permits.
Thanks
Raghu

• Is it possible to create a Purchase order wrt a Scheduling agreement?

Is it possible to create a Purchase order wrt a Scheduling agreement?

Hi,
It is not possible to create PO wrt a Scheduling Agreement. Po is basically a formal instruction given to the supplier by the purchasing dept. It is non-binding. Delivery of the goods is not mandatory for a PO. However, in the case of SA, we create SA
and maintain SA Schedule lines (ME38) with reference to SA. The agreement created with vendor is binding and fixed.
Hope it clarifies.

• Possible to create detailed and Summary in same crystal report?

Hello
I have worked with cyrstal reports back in 2001. Now I am back to creation of reports. I vaguely remember I was able to create summary and detailed reports from one crystal report file. I don't remember if I was using two different stored procedures or not. Can anybody explain if it is possible to create summary and detailed reports from one crystal report file and with one stored procedure. I am guessing somehow I should be able to control behaviour of report - ie. say if user selects detailed report- report will show all records and if user selects summary view then report will show summarized view of same data.
If its possible how do you do it? Can you explain.
Thanks a lot.

There are a couple of techniques with drilling and sub-reports, but what I do most frequently is create a Detail/Summary parameter for the user to select, and then have a formula that references this parameter to either hide or display a Detail section of the report sepending on the option the user chooses. My experience is that most users can relate to this approach better, where as driling and sub-reports can sometimes cause confusion for them.

• Change of Sold to Party in Sales order created with Reference to Contract

Dear Gurus
I want to change the sold to party in Sales Order created with reference to contract.
When I create a Sales order with reference to contract the system copies all the partner functions- Sold to, Ship to, Bill to and Payer alongwith other data.
However Sold to is marked as "Grey" and not changable, rest of the partners can be changed.
There is no subsiquent document created with reference to this Sales Order.
Please advice.
Thanks a lot.
Regards
Raghu

Hi ,
Please follow the below mentioned step.
1) Create a partner function letts say Authorized SP .
2) Assign all the possible authorised SP (customer) in the contract.
3) When you create sales order with reff to Contract. Put the customer for whom you wish to create a sales order in release partner tab.
Hop this will resolve our problem

• What is the pin map for chip select on LM3S8962 for "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" ? (0 through n)

Hello All,
When the LM3S8962 is the master, what pin is used when chip
select is the default (0), or another value ?
Despite this question being asked a few ways in the forums,
NI's "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" documentation
for chip select is unclear.
TI's manual is no help for NI's implementation of chip select.
NI's help for the above subvi seems not only too generic (perhaps
written for the SDK ?), but erroneous in that it reads:
"chip select specifies the chip select line to assert during the
SPI transfer. The chip select line must connect to the EEPROM
on the
microcontroller. Refer to the documentation for the SPI
device for information
about chip select lines."
This is useless as the ARM microcontroller has no EEPROM and
the SPI slave device documentation only covers its own pins.
The hope is to have more than one slave on the LM3S8962's single SPI bus,
without chewing up a additional pin using elemental I/O like the splendid forum
examples for ADC's and DAC's. This would save diagram real estate compared
with two sequence frames that are typically shown toggling a elemental I/O digital
output before and after writing and/or reading from the slave. It also would clarify
what on chip resource trade offs there are for each chip select number chosen.
(as most pins have multiple possible functions)
Thanks in advance for any light on this. Please don't post info on other processors
to this thread as this taints future searches on this issue with this tier 1 target.
Best,
Davy

Hi Davy,
While doing research on this question, I was informed that you have been working with a colleague of mine, Joel, via email for this same question. So that we do not have multiple engineers working on the same issue, Joel will be your point of contact for this issue. I ask that when you have come to a resolution, that you post that resolution here so that other customers can reference this information.

• POs created with reference to PRs

Dear All
I want PR item valuation price is to be copied in to the PO item as net price, when this PO item is being created with reference to a PR item.
This is required for both materials PR items and Service PR items
Presently for material PRs, system is coping the prices from material master, whereas for services no prices are copied as I am not following any service master.
I want prices directly from PR item. Is this possible in SAP (ECC 6.0)?
Thank you

1. Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Authorization Management > Define Function Authorizations for Buyers > Function Authorizations: Purchase Order > Here "New Entries" and define Function Authorization Key as "01" and give description.
OR use T. Code - OMET
Here under "General parameters" subscreen, cctivate "Adopt PO Price" indicator and select "Enter conditions"
In "Possible ref. objects", select "W/o reference" otherwise reference documents (for e.g. PR, RFQ, etc...) for PO creation will become mandatory.
2. Now go to SU01 > Enter User ID > Parameters Tab > Here for Parameter ID EFB i.e. Function Authorization: Purchase Order, maintain value "01" and check in PO, PR will become mandatory for that user.
3. Now during creation of PR in ME51N, under "Valuation" Tab, you will get option for PO Price Adoption as Net or Gross. Select as per your requirement and it will copy Price to PO.

• Is it possible to create a dynamic(with a select) check constraint?

create table a (col_to_be_coded_fora number);
create table b (col_to_be_coded_forb number);
create table c (col_name varchar2(20), col_code number, col_desc varchar2(20));
insert into c values ('col_to_be_coded_fora', 1, 'active');
insert into c values ('col_to_be_coded_fora', 2, 'de-active');
insert into c values ('col_to_be_coded_fora', 3, 'pending');
insert into c values ('col_to_be_coded_forb', 10, 'school');
insert into c values ('col_to_be_coded_forb', 20, 'hospital');
insert into a values ( 1); -- meaning 'active' for table a, column col_to_be_coded_fora, can go in
insert into a values (10); -- meaning nothing for table a, column col_to_be_coded_fora, must give error
insert into b values ( 1); -- meaning nothing for table b, column col_to_be_coded_forb, must give error
insert into b values (10); -- meaning 'school' for table b, column col_to_be_coded_fora, can go in
I know i can handle this problem with dividing table c into to tables and creating foreign key relationship.
in this demo case i have only a and b, 2 tables but i want to encode thousands of tables with a table like c.
İs it possible to create a dynamic check constraint on a table which selects c table for the inputs that have permision?
Or do i have to use after insert, update triggers on table a and b to ensure this functionality?
Is there a smarter implementation for this need, may be a design change?
Thank you,
Kind regards.
Tonguç

Hi Tonguç,
A small design change makes it possible to do this with simple foreign key constraints.
I would do something like:

• Is it possible to create a panel with JavaScript?

Hi friends
As I´m studying JavaScript and the user interface creation...would like to ask (more for curiosity):
Is it possible to create a new panel for Illustrator using JavaScript? Or this is only possible using C++?
(in the Window Class UI we have the "palette" creation method..so wondering the result of it too)
Thank you a lot
Gustavo

Hi Larry
Thank you a lot for sharing this reference. This has alternative explanations from the JavaScript Tools Guide that already come with the Extended Script Toolkit SDK (I´m reading this and finding very very useful).
My question, however, is not covered in any of the manuals.
I´d like to confirm if a panel (like Brushes, Swatches, Appearance and Layer Illustrator panels) can be made only via C++??? (and not via JavaScript).
Can I assume the Script UI capabilites in JavaScript can resume itself on creating dialog boxes only (not panels that persist, keep opened in the software, also could be docked in the side of app)?
Thank you
Gustavo.

• How to create cross references in pages?

Hello,
I need to create cross references in pages, for example create a title with the name of a chart and the create a reference on the document. If I create more content and the number of the chart changes the references need to be up to date. This is supported by word... don't know on pages.
Thanks!

I suspect your tag is wrong, but in Pages '09 you just Insert a Bookmark.
Not possible however in Pages 5.

• Is it possible to create an inbound delivery with MB31

Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to create an inbound delivery with transaction MB31. It's a requirement of the client that all goods that come into the warehouse (HU managed) get in with an inbound delivery.
So, for the scenario of production (non HUM storage Location) to warehouse (HUM storage location) a transfer posting will be done with MB31, A inbound delivery must be created.
I hope this is possible.
Regards,
Alexander

Hi,
You can use an STO to transport stock from production to your warehouse and you can use VL31N with reference to your STO to create an inbound delivery document.
Thanks
