Is it possible to create forms and workflow by Workbench and manage them by ContentSpace?

In a previous issue, I have asked the interrelationship between Workspace and Contentspace. I learned a lot, and I'm very appreciate the kindly answer from Hodmi and Jasmin. And this time, I want to ask something about Workbench and Contentspace.
As a part of presentation for a corporate client, I am trying to make a demonstration model. I 've created a PDF form and an Approval-and-Rejection workflow by Workbench. And I want to upload the form and the workflow to the Contentspace.
In my imagination, I would make a button in the form, and then when I click the button, the form will be sent from the client side to the server side. As a result, it will appear on the space which I specified in Contentspace.
About the workflow, I guess the Contentspace and Workbench may have some common place about Process Management and there is some transportation mechanism or something else between them. So by changing some configuration the workflow could be added into Contentspace.
It is totally selfish imagination, but if it is possible, I think my corporate client will be more interesting about Adobe Livecycle.

Let's me just try to answer to question in several pieces.

You can definitily save the form in content space. I'm not sure what you mean about the workflow.

This is also possible.

You need to use the ContentSpace service. The Content Space service gives you a bunch operation like storeContent, retrieveContent, etc. You can use that service in Workbench, or call it directly using SOAP or REST.
So to summarize, you can use the Content Space service to interact with content space to get and store your forms for you workflow.

I have worked with cyrstal reports back in 2001. Now I am back to creation of reports. I vaguely remember I was able to create summary and detailed reports from one crystal report file. I don't remember if I was using two different stored procedures or not. Can anybody explain if it is possible to create summary and detailed reports from one crystal report file and with one stored procedure. I am guessing somehow I should be able to control behaviour of report - ie. say if user selects detailed report- report will show all records and if user selects summary view then report will show summarized view of same data.
If its possible how do you do it? Can you explain.

There are a couple of techniques with drilling and sub-reports, but what I do most frequently is create a Detail/Summary parameter for the user to select, and then have a formula that references this parameter to either hide or display a Detail section of the report sepending on the option the user chooses. My experience is that most users can relate to this approach better, where as driling and sub-reports can sometimes cause confusion for them.

i exported the application from apex.oracle.com and imported it to our environment
import went fine, but when I ran the IR page I got
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00904: : invalid identifier
evidently the problem is a lack of public execute on DBMS_LOB, which is used in the generated IR source.
while waiting for the DBA to grant privs on DBMS_LOB, changing the dbms_lob.getlength call to length() fixes the IR.
however, i am not getting the download link on the associated form page... changed templates, that's not the issue -- we'll see if that's a dbms_lob issue as well

Looks like there is a 127-column limit on the number of report columns supported when using that wizard. Do you have more than that?

How to create a DVD in iDVD6 without menu (there are several options)
1. Easy. Drop your iMovie in the auto-play box in iDVD's Map View, then set your auto-play item (your movie) to loop continuously.
Disadvantage. The DVD plays until you hit stop on the remote
2. Still easy. If you don't want your (auto-play) movie to loop, you can create a black theme by replacing the background of a static theme with a black background and no content in the drop-zone (text needs to be black as well).
Disadvantage. The menu is still there and will play after the movie. You don't see it, but your disc keeps spinning in the player.
3. Still quite easy but takes more time. Export the iMovie to DV tape, and then re-import using One-Step DVD.
Disadvantage. One-Step DVD creation has been known to be not 100% reliable.
4. (My preferred method) Easy enough but needs 3rd party software. Toast lets you burn your iMovie to DVD without menu - just drag the iMovie project to the Toast Window and click burn.
Disadvantage. you'll need to spend some extra $$ for the software. In Toast, you just drop the iMovie project on the Window and click Burn.
5. The "hard way". Post-production with myDVDedit (free-ware)
Tools necessary. myDVDedit ( www.mydvdedit.com )
• create a disc image of your iDVD project, then double-click to mount it.
• Extract the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders to a location of your choice. select the VIDEO_TS folder and hit Cmd + I to open the Inspector window
• Set permissions to "read & write" and include all enclosed items; Ignore the warning.
• Open the VIDEO_TS folder with myDVDedit. You'll find all items enclosed in your DVD in the left hand panel.
• Select the menu (usually named VTS Menu) and delete it
• Choose from the menu File > Test with DVD Player to see if your DVD behaves as planned. If it works save and close myDVDedit.
• Before burning the folders to Video DVD, set permissions back to "read only", then create a disc image burnable with Disc Utility from a VIDEO_TS folder using Laine D. Lee's DVD Imager.

As someone already said, we need to know a little more about what you want to do with these variables, but in general, APEX Items are probably what you want. You can create APEX Items at the Application or Page level. Once you set the value of an item, you can reference it anywhere else in the application. So, if you have an item on page 1 called P1_ENAME, you can reference it on page 32 using bind variable syntax :P1_ENAME. If you just want to store but not display some information, you can use either a hidden page item or an Application Level item. Take a look at the 2 Day Developers Guide for more info.

Sure you can, with a bit of JavaScript. What sort of fields will you be using and what part of the field do you want to be green or red?

Create forms and copy and place in place in other pdfs

I have a master pdf with forms built in acrobat 9 pro. These forms will be used in other pdfs in the same position. Is there a way to export the form data and import in the sam position? Their doesnt seem to be a simple paste in place.

There are two approaches you can take. You can replace the old pages with pages from a new PDF, and the fields will remain, as will any links, code, bookmarks, etc. This is probably the best approach for the situation you describe. To do this in Acrobat 9, select: Document > Replace Page. In Acrobat 10, it's under: Tools > Pages > Replace
The other option is to select all of the fields on a page and paste them onto a page in a different document. You might have to do some repositioning of the fields, however. A trick to avoid this is to create a temporary button that as large as the page, select all fields on the page and copy them, and then paste onto the new page. Then delete the button and the other fields will be properly placed. This is a more tedious method, but may be helpful.

The loop counter is a built-in variable that you cannot control. It will always increase.
For your purpose, you must create a seperate variable that contains your index as you want to use it.

Is there any options to creat only Oracle 10g forms and reports services cluster ?

Yes, You can create a "logical" cluster. You don't need to have a cluster hardware, You can make more than one Forms/reports installation and then associte them. I created one more than one year ago so I don't remember how it is configured but I used a note from metalink to do this. Basically I was having problems with reports crash, or printers errors, So I created a cluster with some other installation and then when a printer failed another reports could be used as fail over automatically.

Integration with muse created forms and business catalyst mailing lists

I have just spent a long time on a chat session with support after spending most of a day trying to sort out how to have the people who fill in our contact us page to be automatically added to a mailing list to keep in contact with them, but it seems there isnt a strong link with muse to do this easily.
When you create a form in muse, it has an option to send the completed forms to a selected email adress. It would be great if you there was also an option to add that contact to a selected mailing list group already created in Business Catalys
I would have also like the full integration of form central to be inside muse with all its functions. So I could create gift voucher orders forms and receive payments by paypal or other options.
It has been a frustrating day trying to figure it out as the forums didnt seem to help with the info i needed.
It seems to use Business Catalyst webforms requires html coding knowledge which I dont have. you can created a basic form in there easily, but if you want to make it two collumns wide or other changes, it is very difficult to use with coding
A decent wysiwig editor in Business Catalyst would be great
