Is it Possible to Decrypt Data if WPA Key is Known

One of our clients has a WRT54G in his office.
Several of his employees (including himself) are accessing it wirelessly.
Is it possible that an employee can decrypt his data if they are running a sniffer program and know the WPA key?
Thank you in advance.

I will try to qualify the question somewhat....
I mean with tools that are available that don't cost a small fortune in terms of money and computer resources to decrypt.

  • Encrypt/Decrypt data, multiple public keys using Bouncy castle api?

    Hi all.
    I need to implement encrypt/decrypt functionality of some data with many public keys using bouncy castle api and EnvelopedData class in java 1.4 SE.
    Could someone give me examples how to do it. I searched whole the internet and i could not find simple example.

    Hi thanks very much.
    I had a quick look at the examples. I will see if they could help me.
    Here is more specific what i want:
    Encrypt data with multiple public keys that are kept in .pkcs12 file.
    And decrypt the data using coresponding private key after that.
    I must use bouncy castle api for java 1.4 se.

  • How to decrypt data when you can't get the private key in Windows?

    I'm very confuse. My english is poor, but I try to say my question clearly.
    When browser connects to a https website which needs client certificate to authenticate the identity, the browser will send client certificate to web server.
    Then the web server will use the certificate to encrypt some data and send it to browser.
    Then broswer should have private key to decrypt that.
    But as I know, if I install a pfx format personal certificate, I can set can't export private key, which means you can't get the private key to use it. So how can
    the browser decrypt the data without private key?
    By the way, what is CSP, use CSP's interface can we use CryptoAPI
    to decrypt data without private key?

    Answer for question is  "you cant"..

    DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT with UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW by using
    Key Value as normal.
    But the problem, is it possible to have the key value more than 8.
    Its showing me error when i give the key value less than 8 or more than 8.
    Can u tell me why it happens, is that the limit of the key value or is any other way to do that.

    If the input data or key given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is empty, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28231 "Invalid input to Obfuscation toolkit."
    If the input data given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is not a multiple of 8 bytes, the procedure raises the error ORA-28232 "Invalid input size for Obfuscation toolkit." ORA-28233 is NOT applicable for the DES3DECRYPT function.
    If the key length is missing or is less than 8 bytes, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28234 "Key length too short." Note that if larger keys are used, extra bytes are ignored. So a 9-byte key will not generate an exception.

  • Is it possible to retreive data and store it in database from a AWM cube?

    Hi all,
    Table to cube is possible by maintaining..but Is it possible to retreive data as it stored in cube and store it in database from a AWM cube?
    Regards,
    Arjun Jkoshi

    Hi there,
    Yes, it is possible - and very easy. Remember an OLAP cube is fully integrated with the Oracle database and therefore treated very much as a native object.
    With 11g OLAP, cube views are created automatically when you define a cube using AWM. These views provide SQL access to the data in the OLAP cube meaning that it is very easy to transfer data into a table using techniques such as 'create table as select * from cube_view' or 'insert into table select * from cube_view'. You can use WHERE clauses to filter specific values from the cube into the table, and in 11g, an optimisation has been added to ensure that NULL rows are eliminated from the result set automatically (OLAP cubes are typically very sparse and therefore contain many NULL values)
    With 10g OLAP, cube views can be added on top of existing cubes that have been created using AWM. It is easiest to do this using the [view generator|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/olap/viewGenerator_1_0_2.zip] utility from the [OTN OLAP home page|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/olap/index.html]. With the views in place it is once again very easy to transfer data into a table using techniques such as 'create table as select * from cube_view' or 'insert into table select * from cube_view'.
    I hope this is clear and makes sense. Which version of Oracle OLAP are you using?
    Thanks

    Hi perezco,
    As Piotr said, this can be done through .NET programming in a Script Task or a Script Component. For the code snippet, please refer to the following thread:
    http://forums.asp.net/t/1629654.aspx
    In addition, there are also third party SSIS components that provide such a functionality such as:

    Is it possible to get data from a smashed/broken iPod touch 4th gen?

    - If when you connect the iPod to your computer it appears in iTunes then you can make a backup and then restore another iPod or other iOS device from that backup.
    - Otherwise you will have to go to a data recovery company.
    - When I go to the YouTube link I can't get the video to play.

    If you formatted the entire "C" drive (Format C:\) then you don't need to decrypt them but rather recover them.  Recovery is somewhat doubtful but one application you can try is called recuva.
    You will not recover 100% of the files and may not recover any

  • Is it possible to import data into a Reader Extended PDF created in Livecycle?

    Hi there,
    I make a lot of Reader Extended forms for my company. When I issue form updates, sometimes staff have to re-copy or re-type records into forms with repeating subforms.  I'd like to be able to jumpstart their process by importing from an old, filled-out form, into my new updated form.
    I've found I can do this by making an XML data file of the data from the old form, but I can't import into an Extended from using Adobe Reader. Most of our staff don't have Acrobat, so they aren't able to save data into non-extended forms.
    Is this clear, what I'm asking? Import XML data into Reader Extended form.
    Thanks for any help you can give,
    Laura

    Hi,
    It's indeed possible to import data in a reader enabled form with Reader.

  • Possible to validate data entries during Digital Signature?

    I have a form that was built from scratch using Adobe LiveCycle  Designer ES 8.2. I also have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.3.2. (WinXP)
    I  see numerous articles online related to validating user input prior to  data submission for an online form via a Submit button, however, I  am trying to figure out how to implement the same sort of data  validation during the signing of a particular digital signature field in an offline pdf form. Simply, I want to perform data validation during a digital  signature instead of when user presses Submit button.
    Here's my  use-case:
    1. Form Originator fills out a large number of data fields  and signs form via a CAC cert.
    2. Another person will review,  possibly edit/add data, and sign another signature block with CAC.
    3.  Then there is one more final CAC signature on the form before it is  completed and then emailed to the right folks for processing.
    4. I  would like to be able to enforce the population of several Mandatory  data fields (at least one Radio button and one text input, possibly  others) before the 3rd signature can be applied to the document.
    Again, I  need to emphasize this is all happening in an offline form, no data  submission or database back-end. Also, everything with the digital  signatures (and locking up fields afterword) works totally fine, just interested  in adding Data Validation capability during Digital Signature.
    I am in no way a javascript expert, but I can  probably learn from a good example. Any help or guidance is very much appreciated. Thanks...

    If you are using SignatureField in the form then you will get two events preSign and postSign which you can use to validate the field input just like you do with a Submit button.
    Thanks

  • Is it possible to insert data into a MySQL database with Java?

    Hello everyone!
    I would like to know, if it's possible to insert data into a MySQL database, with a JFrame inside a servlet?
    When the JFrame is first created it calls this method:
         * Connects the servlet with the MySQL database.
        private void connect(){
            try{
                Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");
                connection = DriverManager.getConnection(
                        "jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/data", "root", "omfg123");
            }catch(ClassNotFoundException cnfe){
                cnfe.printStackTrace();
            }catch(SQLException sqle){
                sqle.printStackTrace();
        }Then, when you click the "Add" button, it executes this code:
                add.addActionListener(new ActionListener(){
                    @Override
                    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent ae){
                        String employee = employeeName.getText();
                        String[] args = employee.split(" ");
                        firstName = args[0];
                        lastName = args[1];
                        execute();
                });And this is my "execute()" method:
         * Connects the servlet with the MySQL database.
         * - And executes the SQL queries.
        private void execute(){
            try{
                PreparedStatement statement = connection.prepareStatement("insert" +
                        " into employees values(" + firstName + ", " + lastName
                        + ")");
                ResultSet result = statement.executeQuery();
                String fullName = firstName + " " + lastName;
                printer.write("Employee " + fullName + " added.</br>");
            }catch(SQLException sqle){
                sqle.printStackTrace();
        }But when I click the "Add" button, nothing happens.

    This is what I use to insert into mysql. It works on windows.
    try {
                Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");
                String connectionUrl = "jdbc:mysql://" + loadip + "/custsig?" +
                        "user=root&password=";
                Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection(connectionUrl);
                newproc = jTextField1.getText();
                newsoft = jTextField2.getText();
                newdeb = jTextField3.getText();
                newcust = jTextField4.getText();
                if (newcust.equals("")) {
                    errorsig12 = 1;
                    jLabel1.setForeground(new java.awt.Color(255, 0, 0));
                } else if (newsoft.equals("")) {
                    errorsig12 = 1;
                    jLabel2.setForeground(new java.awt.Color(0, 0, 0));
                } else if (newproc.equals("")) {
                    errorsig12 = 1;
                    jLabel3.setForeground(new java.awt.Color(0, 0, 0));
                } else if (newdeb.equals("")) {
                    errorsig12 = 1;
                    jLabel4.setForeground(new java.awt.Color(0, 0, 0));
                if (errorsig12 == 0) {
                    PreparedStatement ps = con.prepareStatement("insert into customer set cust_name = ?,  software = ?, processor = ?, debit = ?");
                    ps.setString(4, newdeb);
                    ps.setString(3, newproc);
                    ps.setString(2, newsoft);
                    ps.setString(1, newcust);
                    int rs = ps.executeUpdate();
            } catch (SQLException eg) {
                System.out.println("SQL Exception: " + eg.toString());
            } catch (ClassNotFoundException cE) {
                System.out.println("Class Not Found Exception: " + cE.toString());

  • Is it possible to import data into Captivate 5?

    Is it possible to import data back into a Captivate 5 lesson, that was  stored to a server or database from earlier in the Captivate 5 lesson?   We would like to redisplay data from one screen to another.  Some if it  is quiz results, some just responses to questions we ask the user and we  sould like to show it again for discussion on the next screen or in an  entirely separate lesson.  Thanks.

    You can easily store data in user variables that will persist for the duration of the user's browser session for a given Captivate lesson.  But if you want to have the same data persist over multiple browser sessions you need to write this data to cookies on the users PC or else write it to a database somewhere online and pull it back from there in later modules.
    The first option using variables is quite easy to do with Advanced Actions.
    The second option using an external database is much more difficult and would require ActionScript programming skills as well as database programming skills for the specific database technology you use and the scripting technologies used to write and retrieve data from it.  If you don't have these skillsets yourself, you're going to need to put together a project with a budget to hire the designers and developers required to pull it off.
