Is it possible to drop d tune the smart guitar?

Anyone know? Or have any tips around it?! Thanks

I don't don't think it is possible. You might be able to get access to the notes you want to play by editing custom chords, but I'm no musician so it is all Greek to me.

  • What are the notes of the Smart Guitar?

    When I open iOS GarageBand's Smart Guitar on Key C-Major, what are the notes I'm seeing? For instance, what are the notes when I tap the C chord string from 1 (bottom) to 6 (up)?
    My actual goal is to record all string tap sounds, cut them into respective pieces in Audacity, then save them as e.g. "C.wav", for further use in another context. I like how GarageBand lays out the chords so my small (noncommercial) program aims to copy this, albeit I'm not a professional musician (as you can see from my question, I'm sure!).
    Thanks!

    1. Keeping track of the individual conversations taking place between applications on the source and destinations on the source and destination hosts. 2. Segmenting data and adding a header to identify and manage each segment. 3. Using the header information to reassemble the segments into applications data. 4. Passing the assembled data to the correct applications.

  • How do you use the smart guitar without the notes sounding odd

    i cant play any real notes that sound good on this app for itouch can someone give me some pointers

    Sorry if I'm not being clear. Here's a simple example: I'd like to fit the square with the black circle on the top side of the cube:
    With transform tool, I'm limited by the bounding box and cannot drag the corners of the square to the cube's top corners:
    With envelope distort, when I drag a corner point the edges become warped:
    This can easily be done in Photoshop. I can drag the corners to distort the square:
    How can this easily be done in Illustrator CC 2014?

  • At 60 and totally confused w/version . Not  clue with how to use it and how to change it. My question - If a new version of i-tunes can be offered why not the older version as being a choice? Too simple or just impossible to do? I hate to drop i-tunes.

    At 60 years of age and totally challenged by todays technology I find it impossible to understand i-tunes Version 11. Don' ask me to try to try go back to a earlier version ( as much as I would like to). I have read some of the advice given, as well as intended as it is, I don't understand the process. I don't want to drop i-tune but I will. I am sure my library is not as large as many others who use it but it is just as important to me. This really saddens me.
    I do have two question if some one can help me. First, someone mentioned that if I go to previous restore point this might correct it. Yes or no? Secondly, if Apple can offer us a new version to download why can't they offer an older version to download. Too simple or impossible to do.

    You can still drag and drop a song into a Playlist, in the same manner as before. Simply use the left-click of your mouse to select-and-hold the song (left-click-and-hold, don't release the click) and drag it to and then drop it (release the click) into the Playlist you want. (You cannot drop it into a Smart Playlist, you can only drop it into a Regular Playlist.)
    ... and here's a screenshot dragging the song "Lazy Orbit" into the Regular Playlist "Sat 4th June 2011". A small + symbol also appears in the drag, but it doesn't show up on screenshots. If the move is forbidden, a red slash through a red circle appears instead of the + symbol.
    As for the Albums thing; in the Column Browser, right-click anywhere in the Column Browser header (see my screenshots in my previous post) and a menu appears. Deselect Albums on that menu to remove Albums from the upper Columns:
    ... and for the columns underneath (with the songs list etc.), right-click on that header bar and once again, deselect Albums from the menu that appears. The Albums column will then be removed from the lower columns list.

    Well, my advice to you is: do not think about what you think iTunes cannot do, instead, think about what you want to achieve - and then work out how to achieve it.

    If I have an airport extreme and a time capsule is it possible for seamless switching between the 2 when a signal is weak or drops
    Main reason is as I move from my first floor to my attic office and would like to place one (airport extreme)downstairs and time capsule upstairs to get complete coverage

    In theory, yes. If you configure the two base station into either an extended or roaming network configuration, you should be able to walk a laptop between routers and the laptop should attempt to connect/reconnect to the base station providing the stronger signal ... but, in reality, this is not always 100% true.

    i bought an iPhone 5 in Brazil, but i dropped it in the floor and now i need to fix it. is it possible to make in New York and how much would cost?

    If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
    Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
    ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5s. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.
    You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:
    Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 or visit online Help for more information.

    There are third-party firms that do repairs on iDevices, and there are places where you can order parts to DIY if you feel up to the task. Start with Google to search for these.

  • Using flex pitch is there a way to fine tune the start point .i'm using it as a audio to  midi function

    using flex pitch is there a way to fine tune the start point .i'm using it as a audio to  midi function

    Thank you for your reply Karsten but unfortunately this didn't help me so far. Or maybe I'm missing something?
    First the link is a tutorial for iMovie on a Mac. I'm using iMovie on iPad so the steps are inapplicable.
    Second it is only possible for me to manipulate the end part of the sound clip to whichever duration I want. But I can't do the same with the 'beginning' of the sound clip.
    I simply want to place some photos in the beginning of my video with no sound in the background then after like 2 secs I want to start the music clip. For some reason that is not possible! Cause every time I drop the music clip unto my project timeline it automatically place it self along with the first frame in the project! And consequently the photos and music are forced to start together.
    Hope I'm making sense...

  • How do I add a drop shadow to the page in Muse?

    How can I apply a drop shadow to the page template in Muse? If I place a rectangle it will not change shape according to the page size. Is this a feature?

    Hello,
    You're most possibly referring to "Favicons", and they can be added in a Muse site from the "File -> Site Properties -> Layout" section. Check this screenshot: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-09-05_2332.png
    Hope this helps.

  • GarageBand won't let me drag and drop songs into the timeline.

    GarageBand won't let me drag and drop songs into the timeline.  It did before, now all of a sudden it won't... anyone know why?
    I am dragging them from iTunes, and it has never been an issue before.  I have used AAC, MP3, and AIFF before and never had an issue.
    Is there a setting possibly that I need to change?

    Same with me, Lion is a cool OS but the updates iTunes has nothing but problems. I can't even drag song to my desktop. You can try finding the song through iTunes music folder but the song I wanted wasn't there. To get there look at this artical http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1391. to help you find that song.

    Hi
    i have seen your query and i am nt changing the whole query but i'll recommend some of the changes it may helps in the performance tuning...
    1) write all the filter conditions in the FROM clause in correspondence to the tables for ex :
    One way : select * from tab a, tab1 b where a.c = b.c and a.d in ('xx','lll')
    Tuned way : select * from (select c from tab where d in ('xx','lll')) a, tab b where a.c = b.c (it provides lesser rows for joining)
    2) Donot write Inline query in the select statement.You can try it.
    for ex:
    One way : select a.c, (select d from tab1 where tab1.d = a.e) from tab a
    tuned way : select a.c, tab1.d from tab a, tab1 where tab1.d = a.e
    3) Check the gathering of stats in 10G
    4) Avoid using ANSI standered for JOINS for ex : Instead of select * from a inner join a on ... use select * from a, b where joining cond.(I am not confirmed)
    5) If possible here use the WITH clause becuase you have use UNION and you have use some common tables which are executing twice in the current.
    6) Use some HINTS like FIRST_ROWS
    If somewhere i am wrong please correct me.

  • How to tune the Update statement for 20 million rows

    Hi,
    I want to update 20 million rows of a table. I wrote the PL/SQL code like this:
    DECLARE
    v1
    v2
    cursor C1 is
    select ....
    BEGIN
    Open C1;
    loop
    fetch C1 bulk collect into v1,v2 LIMIT 1000
    exit when C1%NOTFOUND;
    forall i in v1.first..v1.last
    update /*+INDEX(tab indx)*/....
    end loop;
    commit;
    close C1;
    END;
    The above code took 24 mins to update 100k records, so for around 20 million records it will take 4800 mins (80 hrs).
    How can I tune the code further ? Will a simple Update statement, instead of PL/SQL make the update faster ?
    Will adding few more hints help ?
    Thanks for your suggestions.
    Regards,
    Yogini Joshi

    Hello
    You have implemented this update in the slowest possible way. Cursor FOR loops should be absolute last resort. If you post the SQL in your cursor there is a very good chance we can re-code it to be a single update statement with a subquery which will be the fastest possible way to run this. Please remember to use the {noformat}{noformat} tags before and after your code so the formatting is preserved.

  • Tunning the sql

    Below is the table structure & index's for the table and Total record count for the table is: 40450708
    here, I am selecting distinct of ELIM_NBR from table using below query and it contains only: 1641 records
    SELECT DISTINCT ELIM_NBR FROM ELIM_RULE_REF_TBL;while we run the above sql, its taking too long (more than 5 min), could you please help me - how to tune the query to get the distinct of ELIM_NBR from the table...

    If it is so crucial for you to get this particular query processed as fast as possible there are a couple of things you can evaluate:
    * Follow this thread When your query takes too long ... to generate a proper explain plan output and run tkprof on a sql trace of this statement. Post the results here. This provides information where potentially most of time is spent to process the query.
    * Create an (additional) index that consists just of the ELIM_NBR, provided that you only query this column and restrict only on that column in the WHERE clause. This builds a smaller index than the currently used index ELIMREF_IDX_02 which should speed up the full index scan.
    * Since a sort unique operation is required you could think of increasing your sort memory usage. You haven't mentioned which database version you're running, but if you're already on 9i and have PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET defined you could switch your session to "WORKAREA_SIZE_POLICY = manual" and setting SORT_AREA_SIZE to a large value, like 100000000 to allow a maximum of 100M for in-memory sorting, depending on your hardware, environment and concurrent usage of the system.
    * If you have the suitable license and hardware you could try to increase the speed of the index fast full scan by using the parallel query option:
    SELECT /*+ PARALLEL_INDEX(ELIM_RULE_REF_TBL, ELIMREF_IDX_02) */ DISTINCT ELIM_NBR
      FROM ELIM_RULE_REF_TBL
    WHERE SUBSTR(ELIM_NBR, 2, 1) != '9';Regards,
