Is it possible to make column headings appear diagonally?

Please help. I am a newbie to Apple and Numbers and would like to know if it is possible when creating a spreadsheet to have the tops of the columns appear diagonally. I have seen this done before but how?

The picture nicely illustrates what I was saying—while the picture isn't a rectangle, the space that it occupies is. Athough there are no column boundaries showing in the picture above, it's pretty clear that the column under "ITEM 2" extends from just to the right of the box containing the first + sign to just to the right of the box containing the second + sign—the width of a cell necessary to contain the rotated column labels. Possible to make new content appear in text block?

Hi, I am new to iweb and have not yet published the site I've been working on. But I am wondering if there is a way to click on different images on a page and have new information appear in the text block. As it stands now, all I could figure out how to do is make a link to a whole new page that looks the same except for the new information. I am getting to have a whole lot of pages here, haha! Do you have to add a text frame after the whole thing is published? It seems like there should be an easier way...
And speaking of publishing - I am afraid to even try that after reading all the posts of people having their sites completely messed up or un-viewable if not viewed on a mac... Is that a common problem?

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

Is it possible to change the column headings when ever i execute the query

in the runtime i want to change the column headings is that is possible.
Ex: if write a timestampadd(.......) function in the table heading is that change the dates automatically whenever i execute the query?
is this is possible?

bbfff 6 10It looks like the dates are values in a column? Put that column in the Columns section of the Pivot Table and Product Name in the Rows section and it should produce what you are looking for.

The ref cursor data can be copied, but not the headings..

I think you're out of luck... except if you're on 11g where you can use DBMS_SQL.TO_CURSOR_NUMBER to convert the REF CURSOR to a DBMS_SQL cursor, and then benefit from the DBMS_SQL package to get column details.

Javascript in report column headings?

Hello,
I'm wondering if it's possible to be able to use Javascript in report column headings, so that when the user hovers the mouse over the column heading name in the report, a pop-up appears with an explanation of what that column is. Usually I use Javascript on page items, but in this case, the column headings aren't page items, they are derived from the SELECT statement that makes the report. Is this possible using Javascript? Or, is there something I'm not aware of that Apex can do, such as the "Optional Label with Help" but for column heading names?

Hello Laura,
Each report column headings has an ID equal to the column name/alias as it appears in your select statement. You can use this ID to directly access the column header DOM node, just as you are doing with a page item.
In your case, you can use the ‘title’ attribute to get what you want. If your column ID is ‘COL1’, you can use something like this in the footer of your report region:
$x(‘COL1’).title = ‘Help Text’;Of course, having an ID allows you to use any JavaScript code you need.

Webforms - Wrap Text/Word Wrap for Column Headings

I have some member aliases that are set as my webform's column headings, but they are fairly long. Setting the column width to a custom value that fits most of the text in the heading makes the form very wide and ugly to work with. I don't see any option to Wrap Text or use Word Wrap in the column headings. Is there any way to do this?

I am not aware of any option which allows you to wrap the text, it may be possible customizing the [CSS |http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/html_hp_admin/ch12s03.html] though to be honest I am not even sure about that and even if it was possible it would apply to all apps.

How to make column heading in a table cross multiple pages

I have a large table that crosses over to a second page. I would like the column headings to be displayed on the second page. Is this possible and how to do it?

Heading rows are automatically cloned to table continuations.
if you aren't seeing heading rows on subsequent pages (and you can tell because you can see them but you can't edit them there), the usual reason is that what appear to be heading rows on the first page are just body rows with heading paragraph formats.
If all real heading rows have been deleted, it's usually easiest to just create a new table with heading rows and copy the content over.

Column headings or labels permanent

To support team: I worked with DB2 for quite awhile and when
creating a table we were able to define column headings using
the label statement. EG: Even though the database name would be
short and undescriptive (acctnbr), whenever you would select the
table the column would appear as the label described it (Account
Number). When referencing the field through sql you would use
acctnbr but whenever the field would display it would show
Account Number as the column heading. This was permanent.
I now work with oracle and I cannot find how to do the same
thing for new tables other than in the select statement which
does display the altered heading but not permanently. I know
about column comments as well but that puts the comments in
another table. I would appreciate any information on this if

Not possible to make full check in email client?

I saw that doesn't exist the possibility to make a "full check - check all" into the email settings.
Is nice that the checks can be done individually, but I think will be useful to have a "check all" option, in case that you want to move all emails into another folder for example (supposing that you have hundreds of emails, which is another issue because the email client is not able to save the received messages)

You can check all in the Hub for emails or text to mark them read or delete, but no option to move all. Just click an hold on the date and slider appears on the right to Mark all read or delete.

Row and column headings-how to print without them

Currently Epson C64 and appleworks 6.2
How can I print the spreadsheet without the row and column headings as there doesnt seem to be a place to choose whether to how or not

Whilst writing, too many instances of the coloured wheel rotating, nothoing showing on screen, suddenly whole sentences appear. Very irritating, so how can I stop this ?

About the colored wheel issue: does this happen in all applications in which you are typing? Are you doing other things in that app at the same time. For instance, if Safari is one of the problematic apps, are you also downloading at the same time? I have seen this issue a few times - very rarely - and have found that a restart usually gets things back to normal. I'm not sure if this will be a helpful workaround for you, but it has had some success.

Alv grid background column headings

I was able to execute the ALV grid report in background .But columns heading is reeating for
each page.
Can't we just just have the Column Headings once for all pages.?

For the IS_LAYOUT parameter it is possible to set NO_COLHEAD = 'X'. Then the header is gone. Then you have to create first line in table with texts. But then all fields must be character fields.

Unfortunately, it is not possible in the application window where you can change the cardname which has been defiined for a cardcode field in the OINV table.
The field is not editable .
However, you can check and option of having a UDF to define and have the value appear which you want. Purpose for change name requirement is unknown to me but if it is required in the Print out then you can check the display of the UDF field in the print layout.
