Is it possible to pin my navigation to the top of the browser until I reach a certain point on the page and then let it continue to scroll normally?

I'm trying to get my navigation to pin to the top of the browser while other scroll effects are taking place, then when it reaches a certain point on the page, I want the navigation to continue moving up and off the screen to allow for the footer to come in. Is this possible?

Je ne vois pas l'utilité du mouvement horizontale (gauche-droite, droite-gauche) et pire encore, par mégarde je fais trop souvent bouger ainsi mon texte et cela m'embête, même me dérange beaucoup. Même que cela me donne même mal au coeur hahahahahaha!
Par contre, ma souris précédente avait le mouvement de défilement du haut en bas et bas en haut et cela par contre m'est très utile. Je voudrais donc savoir s'il existe un moyen de stopper le mouvement de côté mais conserver tout de même la fonction du mouvement haut-bas et bas-haut avec le simple toucher de la souris. Suis-je plus clair? Disons que c'est plus aisé pour moi en français. merci à toi

Trying to create interactive navigation to bring you to a certain point in a page.

I'm creating an interactive file with indesign to be exported as an interactive PDF. I want to be able to click on an item and it bring you to its description on a separate page. All I'm getting online are tutorials on how to place navigation buttons to bring you to next,previous, first and last pages but I want to be brought to a certain point on a specific page.
I did come up with a solution of using object states and interactive buttons so that when the item is clicked on its description appears beside it and can then be clicked away but the client doesn't want this. The client wants the item and description to be seperate so that when the item is clicked you are brought somewhere new directly to the description.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Object states only work with SWF and DPS.
You can hyperlink to a text anchor to do what you want in a PDF.

The flash player plugin is correct installed, but firefox keeps asking to install it and then says not possible

I have installed flash player.
The test site of Adobe says it is correct. When I switch it off and do the test the test says "flash player is switched off, press to switch it on" when I dos so the test says that is corectly installed.
When I open the plug-in screen there is no adobe flash player, but only shockwabe flash player, but switching this one on and off had the above mentioned effect.
I have checked the registry (since I could not find anything about flash player in the program list, software in configuration, nor in program files and found that in the windows/system32/macromed/flash directory are the files flashutil9b.exe and flashutil_10uPlugin.exe and some other files, which gives me the idea that flash player is in effect installed.
Nevertheless a flash file in my website keeps asking for the plugin and tells than that it cannot be found.

The big problem is, that since I have these problems (on several computers, working on XP and Vista) I suppose that the visitors on my site wil have the same problem.
I heve been working hours to find out what the problem is, installed different players, used different formats, searched the internet for a solution and I don't want to export this problem to the visitors of my website.

Is it possible to move ( sync ) the music from an old IPOD version 3.1.2 to ITUNES ( current version ) and then move those music files to an IPHONE 4S?

The goal would be to either sync that music to ITUNES on a PC or move said music to the desired IPhone or ICloud
however the old-ness of the IPOD is requiring an update which wants to wipe out the IPOD thus losing the music.
We have backed up IPOD to ITUNES ( on a pc ) but it would be nice to sync from IPOD to ITUNES as opposed to ITUNES to IPOD

Is it possible to 'pin' the timeline to the top-center of the screen?

In Captivate 4 I was able to move the timeline from the bottom-center and "pin" it to the top-center. In Captivate 5, you can only "float" the timeline around the screen and it blocks the screen beneath it. I know I can then move the window behind it down but it's not ideal and actually quite a simple thing I feel I'm trying to accomplish. Has anyone else run into this?

Yes, its not possible to dock the timeline to the top-center in Captivate 5.
But still, you can place the timeline at a suitable position, and then create a new workspace. This workspace will remember the position of your timeline panel.

Navigation bar pinned to the top of the browser window

I have a navigation bar and graphic pinned to the top of the window, but when scrolling the page content goes over the nav bar. How can I keep it on top of all the other content?

It is quite simple.
The menu is on the master page and this page is always in the background so beneath everything.
Go to your masterpage, click on the menu en use the shortcut crtl x to cut.
Now the menu is on the clipboard.
To paste it use the shortcut crtl/alt/shift/v in every page of your site. (this is called pasteing in place).
Now press in every page (with the menu selected) on the shortcut crtl/shift / ] to get the menu infront of everything.

You need to put you Navigation items on a new layer, then make sure that layer is on top.

One can create navigators like what you are describing, such as:
All (5000)
today (10)
within a week (50)
within two weeks (110)
within a month (220)
within two months (409)
within six months (1030)
within one year (3030)
within two years (3402)
Typically this has been performed by creating extras field/navigators in the index profile, as well as applying custom logic during document processing
and in the search front-end. Another approach is to use the manual-cut feature for numeric navigators in the index profile, but this requires performing hot updates as often as daily (depending on the desired granularity).
A more optimal solution is to combine manual-cut with query-side navigator options. For instance, the sample query parameter below specifies various
4 buckets (years <=1999, 2000-2004, 2005-2006, >=2007) for 'docdatetimenavigator'
To use manual cut, you can use discretize=manual in the query parameter which will override/ignore intervals, algorithm and range labels are ignored.
For example:
rpf_navigation:navigators=docdatetimenavigator(discretize=manual/3694649208/3695009208) overrides intervals, algorithm and range labels are ignored.
One can also change the default minute specification to seconds by adding the parameter: [datetime-resolution =”seconds”] to the field.
An example of a manual cut navigator definition in index profile would be below:

Is it possible to have the Navigation Toolbar (or at least the pop-up Location Bar) show automatically when I open a (blank) new tab and be automatically hidden once I select an address/search?

I'm obviously aware of the possibility to show/hide the Navitation Toolbar manually, but I'd like to have it done automatically to get the best of screen space and navigation ease.

Thanks cor-el! I had tried that out, but was turned off by the different workflow (can't click Tab to select the address suggestions) and assumed by the look that I couldn't use my Smart Keywords for searches.
In fact, the workflow isn't that much bulkier and the Location Bar is fully functional:

Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:
#youmuseclass {position: fixed;}
I wouldn't use any parallax on mobile either, the performance is terrible.

If I want to add a custom link to the left-hand navigation menu In a SharePoint 2013 sub-site, it can be done by visiting
Site Settings à Navigation section and adding the link under
Structural Navigation: Editing and Sorting section. However, this will automatically add a matching link to the top menu as a dropdown.
(Note that Global Navigation is set to “Display the same navigation items as the parent site” where “Parent is using Structural Navigation.” and Current Navigation is set to “Structural Navigation:

I found the solution for scrolling behaviour, but now I have (very simple) problem that I don't know how to access the main timeline from within the symbol.
In order to connect scrolling behaviour to some spots on the one pager you have to define simple shape, name it (in this case "three") and put the click behaviour, here the code for that:

Now my buttons are in the naviBar, say in a symbol, and I don't know how to access the shape on the main timeline from within the naviBar Symbol.

You will see, if you click the shape with scroll down on it, it works, but if you click the star in the naviBar, it doesn't.

When I load Safari on my IPAD2, the web page comes up, but I can't scroll down the page. No matter what web page I go to the content stays darker than the navigation bar. This just started today. All other applications work fine.

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight
