Is it possible to prevent the history from moving entries up to the top of the list when a site is revisited, and why does it only do this sometimes?

* Sometimes the history appears to compile previous visits to a site into only the entry for the most recent visit, but other times it does not. In other words, sometimes when a site is re-visited, the history will move a previous visit to that site out of the existing chronological sequence and put it at the top. What makes the difference in whether it does this or not, and is there any way to prevent the consolidating of information this way? I am using using Firefox v.27, Windows 7.
I would like things to be in true chronological order for the possibility of accurately tracking previous activity, and for that purpose do not mind having the duplicate entries. Possible successful solutions might be in areas 1-3 below, and I would appreciate any suggestions.
1. Are there any preferences in 'about:config' that apply to this? I could not find any.
2. Are there other ways of getting this type of record, e.g. some other computer log, program, or add-on?
3. What are some of the most accurate records of one's own internet browsing activity that one can make or obtain, with or without the browser's history function, if anyone knows?

Firefox normally only shows the most recent visit to a specific URL, so you would have to do extra effort to make older visits visible (place:sort=4&type=1).

I do have to say it is kind of ridiculous for them to remove the "There is an update. Do you want to install it?" that every other application uses. Even FF plug-ins use one. Checking for an update should not automatically install it.

Photoshop CC banding issue, what is the fix? And why does Adobe not address this?

I am having a issue with banding. I paint in my backgrounds but instead of a nice smooth graduation I get banding. This occurs in 8 bit and 16bit. I have changed the drawing mode to basic. I have even photographed a graduated background and it still has banding. Here is my computer info. Thanks.

There have been several others who have tried to illustrate a problem like what you describe, and it's been traditionally very difficult to distinguish between what we expect to see and something that's abnormal. There is not just a single identified problem that fits your description.
The best you can do is be very, very thorough in your descriptions, including exactly what you're doing in order to create an image where you see the problem. Include as many screen grabs as you can, concentrating on showing what you consider a good result vs. bad.

Is it possible to prevent a user from creating and approving a JV. We have a rule that one user cannot do both. What happens is user#1 creates the JV, then some other user#9 approves the JV. Both user#1 and user#9 need to be able to create a JV and approve someone else's JV.

F-02 General Posting - enter Journal Voucher (create & post)
F-65 Enter General Document - Parking (create)
FBV0 Post or Delete a Parked Document (approval)

Is it possible to change the resolution when exporting a photo to Facebook using either the regular plugin or Jeffrey Friedl's plugin? I can't seem to do it; I only have control over the image dimensions, not the resolution and the dimensions, as you can see in the screen shots below:

I can't find the option to control the resolution when I try to export to Facebook. Before I got Lightroom 4, I would create whole new low-resolution files of images I wanted to post online using Photoshop. The image size settings I would use are a longest edge of 10 inches at 72ppi, and I would like to continue doing this. If I can only set the longest side to 720 pixels (I can't even seem to set the longest edge to an inches value - I can only choose a pixels value) and not change the resolution from 300ppi to 72ppi, then my photos' longest edge will only be less than 3 inches long (right?). Thus, I really want to be able to upload low-resolution photos to Facebook via Lightroom with the ability to change both the resolution and the image dimensions. Any idea how to do it without having to export to my hard drive first? Thanks!

You can set it to whatever you like, and it makes no difference. Most of the time (depending on how you saved it), it will still open as "72".
When you save an image for web, the resolution is usually stripped from the file. It's simply not there anymore. That's probably what happens in the Lr facebook module, and that's why there's no entry for it.
But when you open that image somewhere else, that default of 72 ppi is assigned. Most apps need to know what to do with a file if asked to print it out. unless i'm missing something, i think you got mixed up, this is easy google for walk throughs
i'm assuming this is the new 3tb tc AC or 'tower' shape, if so, its wifi will run circles around your at&t device
unplug the at&t box for a minute and plug it back in
factory reset your tc - unplug it, hold down reset and keep holding while you plug it back in - only release reset when amber light flashes in 10-20s
connect the tc to your at&t box via eth in the wan port, wait 1 minute, open airport utility look in 'other wifi devices' to setup the tc
create a new wifi network (give it a different name than your at&t one) and put the tc in bridge mode (it may do this automatically for you, but you should double check) under the 'network' tab
login to your at&t router and disable wifi on it
add new clients to the new wifi network, and point your Macs to the time machine for backups

Activation Lock cannot be bypassed, you will have to recover the email and password used to activate it.

I was afraid of that!. It is very disappointing because , as I am developing a set of reports for the first time, I will create conditions/calculations in quite a non-ordered way and then end up wanting to group similar ones together.
