Is it possible to sync my email on my iPhone with the email on my Mac.
Is it possible to sync my email on my iPhone with the email on my Mac. I have a hotmail account as well as a Uni email account and when I read emails on my phone, I would like it to update my emails on my mac so that Im not deleting or reading the emails twice?

Answering quickly, though, no, iTunes will not natively sync with non-Apple products. There may be workarounds, though. Ask in the iTunes forums.

I have a macbook, an ipad, and an iphone with the Mail app on all three synced through icloud, but when I read and delete emails on my phone, the inbox on my ipad is not update, so I have to go through and mark as read or delete messages again. Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

I try and buy in app purchases but it won't let me and gives me the above error message: "iTunes password and account is not synced with the email address"! How can I fix this?
Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

Since updating to iso6.0 I have had problems with my email exchange account syncing correctly - I keeps loosing connection with the server.
Are you losing the connection to iTunes on the iPad or the computer? You are saying that iTunes is updated. Of course iTunes is updated when you update the iOS software. That's a no brainer.
If you mean that iTunes is updated on the computer, that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with downloading and updating apps on the iPad itself so changing the date on the iPad, signing in and out of the stores on the iPad .... Doing any of that on the iPad would have nothing to do with iTunes on your computer.
If .... you have not been able to connect to the iTunes or app stores at all on the iPad - try this ...
Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.
If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If you can't connect at all - you can also try rebooting your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. -
I am having some issues with email. My iphone shows 4 emails as unread yet when I look thru all my emails, both on my iPhone5 and my outlook there are no unread emails. How do I clear this up on my phone?
Email does not and has never synced between the iPhone and the computer. It sounds like you may have had your PC set up to use POP3 for e-mail, which will download e-mail from the server and delete it, causing it to vanish from your phone if the phone was set up for IMAP. IMAP provides full synchronization between the server and clients. What you delete on one will vanish from the others. This is the preferred method of managing e-mail as it prevents e-mail from being downloaded, for example, on a PC and making it inaccessible on your phone.

Whenever I send a email from iPad mail app with an attachment from pages or numbers, the receiver is getting only attachment in the email. They are getting the email content. How to troubleshoot this issue.
Someone is probably sending spam with your address forged on the To: line. Could be one of your old contacts with a Windows machine has a virus that's doing it. It's also possible your e-mail account has been hacked, though I'd think such a hacker would be a bit more purposeful.

Does Thunderbird automatically maintain a constant connection with the email server?
Hi all,
I have only recently installed Thunderbird and I was wondering whether the software maintains a constant connection with the email server(s)?
I have a few email accounts configured and I need to be notified immediately when a new email arrives in an inbox of any of them, so would it be possible for the program to maintain a constant connection, if doesn't do os already? Is there an add-on for this?
Thanks!If you click on the name of your email account (such as *****.gmai.com) and view settings for this account, and Server settings, there is an option to Check for new messages every XX minutes. I would not recommend a setting of less than 5 minutes.

I just tried to sync my wife's new Iphone with "my" ITunes. Bad mistake!! I guess "my" itunes thought her phone was mine and "somehow" went into "restore" mode and basically turned "her" phone into mine - ie. contacts, photos, etc.
Can your have two phones one Itunes?? Or should I just open a new Itunes account on her computer and "start" from scratch?? If I do the later, how do I transfer all the music on "my" Itunes to hers???You can sync as many iphone/ipads/ipods as you like to one computer/library.

When opening an email's attachment in Outlook 2007, that email's attachment is no longer available to view on my iPhone and iPad.
How do I correct this to keep the attachment available on iPad and iPhone, when the email's attachment is initially opened from Microsoft Outlook please??If you're talking about an old iCloud ID, you have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

The problem is with the new operating system and sending photo via email when used in my iPad.
From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow. This is solved by saving the email as a draft and opening the email again from mail.
Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
