Is postscript languge level depends on editor.
Hi,
I am using gedit editor in linux to print some text data to a printer. This text data is being converted to postscript level 2. The gedit version I am using is 2.26.3. Can a user control the postscript level genrated by changing the gedit editors settings? .

This is a bug in the formEditor.vm template. The editor item is not set up to be a dependent item, you can fix this by adding the #ITEM_PARTIAL_TRIGGERS() macro to the <af:panelLabelAndMessage> element:

Also, not that you might want to extend your expression to check for '', in addition to null, ADF Faces sometimes returns false when checkinf for an item being null,a and the checking for '' returns true.

Creation of new key figure at report level depending on the month range
Dear All,
I have a requirment where user wants to see the dollar values for the Amount key figure. Data is stored in the INR value in the cube.
Exchange rate values keep on changing depending upon the quarter. For all four quarters we have four different exchange rate.
Now system has to identify the applicable exchange rate and show a new column with the USD value just beside the INR values column.
How best we can achieve this.

After capacity leveling dependent requirement s to be adjusted

iam planning a fert product on 30 th agust for 100nos
created md61 -pir for 100 nos
done mrp run at mdo2 and got scheduled dates for 100nos which has gone beyond the requirement date as i was chhosed leed time scheduling and made dependent reqirement proposal for the order operation date.
here the important thing is the work center which i nedd to produce was fully engaged inthe period (schedule period which system proposed) .hence i made capacity leveling and planned order dates were changed again
which are actual producion dates
after capacity leveling my planned order was firmed
my problem here is the dependent requirement proposal date also
need to be changed with respect to firmed planed order.
how to achive this

but no changes in dependent reuirement proposal (planned order)

means for a single PIR
i made mrp run AND got planned order , after leveling the planned order was firmed
means my pir was satisfied with this
i made mrp run without changing PIR dates and quantity by expecting that it should propose a new dependent reqirement
but system created a new planed order to pir date which sholud not happen.

Reader 9.2 does not choose the right postscript level
Hi,
I use an old HP4500 Color Laser Jet (it still prints very well and I have a lot of toner :-)). every time I want to print a pdf on it, it does not work, for the adobe reader sets the postscript level to 3 although the printer has only 2.
I've found the information anywhere in the adobe pages, which say:
"Note: Acrobat sets the PostScript level automatically, based on the selected printer."
In my printer settings (Win7-64 bit, driver: HP Universal Printing PS Version 12.4.2009, 61.94.3.37) I have set the level to 2 (Dokumentoptions:Postscript Options:Postscript language level: 2)
But Adobe Reader is not interested in my settings and sets it to 3 every time and I have to change it manually every time. That is not funny, when printing many pdfs.... :-(((
I don't understand this, it has happend with another driver under windows xp the same way, but now I have lost my patience.
Why does the reader does not work properly or can I tell him to do so ?

PO Matching Level change to 2-WAY depending on the PO Price

we have a requirement to change the PO Matching level depending on the Total price of the PO. Suppose if the PO total price is less than 5000$ we need to set the PO matching level to 2-WAY and for all other PO's the matchig level should be 3-WAY. In the purchasing options and system options matching level is set to 3-WAY.

POs get created in Core Purchasing through the autocreate process. So, whether it is a PO generated from a Requisition created in iProcurement, or a manually entered PO, you should be able to achieve a solution through personalization of the PO form using the appropriate triggering event. Like I said, you may have to research this option a little bit more in detail. -

Is there any way to encode/decode the image in to this binary format and place it in .PS file.

Illegal dependency error while adding used DC
I am trying to develop a custom web dynpro in NWDI environment. I am trying to add used DC in the new project like these two. 1. pcui_gp/xssfpm and 2.pcui_gp/xssutils
I am getting the error message like the below.
illegal dependency: the compartment domain.com_SAPMSSCC_1 of DC domain.com/testbsp(domain.com_SAPMSSCC_1) must explicitly use compartment sap.com_SAPPCUI_GP_1 of DC
Can any one help me what could be the reason and how to resolve this?

for a report with many characteristics I created 4 summarization levels in such a way that
Summarization Level 2 includes all characteristics of the Summarization Level 1 + some more
Summarization Level 3 includes all characteristics of the Summarization Level 2 + some more
Summarization Level 4 includes all characteristics of the Summarization Level 3 + some more
In the report options, in Presummarized data section, I selected "Read upon each navigation step".
Now when I execute the report, data is first read from the Summarization Level 1. During drill down data is read from further summarization levels depending on which characteristic is used for the drill down.
There is one thing that I don't understand:
None of these summarization levels is used by the system if it does not contain the characteristic "Product".
As Product is not used for the initial selection of the report I initially put it on Summarization Level 3. But the system did not want to use Summarization Levels 1 and 2 then. When I added the Product to the Levels 1 and 2, everything is working fine. However this is not what I need because Product is not displayed on the first screen of the report.
Do you know why the characteristic "Product" is required in each summarization level?

My report is calling all summarization levels.
At the start the summariyation level 1 is called. It is most aggregated so it is little time needed to start the report. It contains only the most frequently used characteristics.
During drilldown other summarization levels can be called (this is achieved thru the option "Read upon each navigation step"). It depends on which characteristic is used for drilldown: if the characteristic used for drilldown is not included in the currently used summarization level, the next least aggregated summarization level which includes this characteristic is called.
The most frequently used characteristics are included in the most aggregated summarization level, the least frequently used characteristics are included in the least aggregated summarization level, which contains all characteristics used in the report.

Finding direct and indirect dependency

I have table say SAPECC, which is used in one of the procedure as given below :

Now if I want to get what are the direct and indirect dependency for SAPECC, how can we get that? Say I want to see TEST121 procedure and SAPECC2 table are the 1st level dependency for SAPECC and TEST122 procedure and SAPECC3 table are the 2st level dependency for SAPECC.

In post script language level 3 files text data is converted to hexadesimal format and kept in between xshow commands. But in postscript language level 2 files, text data is converted to some other format.

Calculate based on different level-based measures

Say that I have a Sales measure and a Region dimension as the following:
Region: Country -> State -> City -> Individual Stores
The Sales measure is aggregated by SUM along the dimension. I'd like to create another measure that when the user browses to each level, the measure calculates the ratio of the current Sales measure to its immediate parent level's aggregated Sales total.
For example, at the City level, the ratio will be City.Sales / State.Sales. At the individual store level, the ratio will be IndividualStores.Sales / City.Sales.
I know I can probably create one total Sales level-based measure at each level. But then that would give me multiple ratio measures as well, which I don't want. Is there any way to have only ONE ratio measure that reflects the ratio at each level depending what level the user is viewing?

I think you were right when you were saying that you could create several metrics. I looked at your requirement again and realized that those are indeed separate metrics - since they use different columns for sales. So you can:
a) create aggregate tables and set LTS there (easiest I think)
b) adjust your ETL by creating a pre-calculated column based on your requirements
c) create a long CASE statement - but I'm still not sure how to define hierarchies....variables perhaps...maybe MMA could shed some light into it....

Oracle Apps standard Save icon will fire trigger KEY-COMMIT at form level.
If current block has a KEY-COMMIT trigger at block level, forms will fire this one. In this case, an eventual KEY-COMMIT trigger at form level will be overridden/fire after/fire before then one at block level depending on property "execution hierarchy" of the block level KEY-COMMIT trigger. Same thing for an eventual KEY-COMMIT trigger at (current) item level.

I have a problem with Capacity of Work center (WC).
I have a Internal Activity, and i assigned a WC for this Internal Activity. WC's capacity is 100H/day for 1 number of element.
Work of this WC is 250H, duration 5 days, number of element 1. Default capacity of this WC is distributed by Distribution Key define in Activity. . And they are divided equally between factory days in 5 day. That is capacity requirement is 50H/Day
So, i want to edit this WC's capacity following value:
Day 1: 100H/day
Day 2: 50H/day
day 3: 0H/day
day 4: 0H/day
day 5: 100H/day
How can i do it?? I try to use Dispatch Manually but i cant solve this problem.
Please help me for this case.

Capacity leveling depends on some of the basic set up of Capacity Requirement Planning .You need to have proper CRP set up frist .
Couple of check points : -
Did you work centre is relevent for finitie scheduling in CR02-Capacity Header and wht is the over laod percentage for work centre ?
Did you have Capacity Requirement Related Set up like Over all profile , time profile , Startegy Profile -OPD0?
Did your Capacity Check -OPJK -Order Control at order level are active for availibilty Check 1 and 2 and assinged Over all Profile ?
Set up :
1.Please assing a operation control key like PP01 where Details Capacity Check and scheduling is active .
2.In CR02-Work centre -Capacity Header -You should have Follow check box marked
1.Releven for Finitie Scheduleing
2.Can be used for multiple Operation
3.
3.OPU3/OPU5 -Define Scheduling paramter -Mark Scheduling and Capcity Check for planned order or production Order
4.In SPRO -Shop Floor Control-Define Production Scheduling Profile -You need to matian the relevent Parameters like
1.Schedueling Automatically 2.Scheduling Log 3.Adjust Scheduling -Basic date , Depedent Requirement date 4.Scheduling Type -Backward etc .
These are all basic level set up beside CRP overall profile and other profile like strategy /time etc which may in place as you are analysing in CM01.

How to dispatch operation to do Capacity Leveling at Work Centre Level :
1.Frist Check the over load at work centre . Goto -CM07/CM05-give plant only -then hit the Stnadard view -You will find weekly or daily baiss load ( Requirement , Avaliable Capcity , Overlaod etc )
2.Check the week in which days you are tring to dipatch -if you selet the week check box and double clik it will show u all the dataiul load .Basde on the available capacity in other week-days u need to dipatch in CM22/CM31 or CM25/CM21
While dipatching in CM22/CM31-Select the Stragegy button on the top header -Mark Date entry when dispatching so that when you select the operation of any production order or planned order for certain work centre , it will pop with window having information of Date , Work Centre , Time .Onec you did this you will receive Scheduling log with certain information .
