IS Retail - Article Sales Price Updation in Article Master

Hai guys,
I created a new article (mm41) and I enetered Purchasing price in the 'Purchasing' tab. But when I give a mark up percentage in the 'Sales' tab, the price is not updating / changing as per the percentage. However I saw this feature working fine in some others' system.
Can anyone help me in fixing up this problem? Thanks in advance

Check following setting
SPRO>Logistics general>Retail pricing>Sales Price Calculation>Assign Pricing Type/Reference Site to Organizational Level
U should have pricing type say 0001 & reference site assigned to sales org, distribution channel combination
Article master will calculate sales prices based on this & mark up u have maintained for mechandise category in wva1

Hi Retail MM expert,
we are using generic article in retail scenario. our client has requirement that variant sales price may be diffrent from generic price.
for this i am maintaining pricing profile in basic data for generic article '1'.
but in the sales view when i am checking sales price, final price is showing in display mode whereas it shouls be in change mode.

Hi do the following
In generic artilce basic data view, Set the indicator as blank in pricing profile -
(Variants priceable diff.; do not propose GMaterial as ref.)
Save the article, now change the price using following options:
Option 1: go to change article of variant article and click sales view , ichange price in 'net
sales price' or change the markup% and save article
Option 2: Go to VKP1 - change the markup and save the sales price calulation
Let me know still its not working, i am able to do the above things.

Price updation in Material Master after confirmation

Dear Gurus,
When we create a production order for Semi finished which is maintained with Moving Average Price(MAP) in material master and we do confirmation of the order with "CO15'.
My client wants after goods receipts against 101 movement type the price should be up date in Material; Master immediately.

How much MAP should be after GR? From where this value will come?
The accounting entries are passed on the basis of price maintained in the material master. The MAP is the input to the business activity. So as per my understanding the MAP cant be updated with GR against a production order.
Also, the costing run would update the standard price, and wont be helpful as the indicator would be 'V' in material master.

Moving avergae price updation in material master for project stock

Dear All,
My query is pertaining to updation of MAP( moving average price) for project specific procurement ( as project stock) for valuated project stock.
As definelty the cost of procurement gets consumed by project .but i want to know does the project stock procurement still updates the moving avergae price or not.
Ex:-Suppose MAP in material master is 10 USD ( with qty 1)and i procure the same material ( qty 1)for project with account assignment Q for 9 USD . now will the MAP in material master becomes 9.5 USD or it remains 10 usd.?

Hi Amit,
If your Project Stock is valuated, then, the valuation data for it is stored in a different table: QBEW.
The normal, anonymus warehouse stock (the unrestricted use stock which is not assigned to any project or to any sales order) has its valuation data stored in MBEW.
The "Accounting 1" view in the Material Master MM03 ONLY displays the data of MBEW.
In the material master you will never see the valuation data of the valuated project stock (table QBEW) or the valuated sales order stock (valuation indicator "M" - table EBEW).
The valuation data for the tables QBEW and EBEW can be seen in SE16 or in the transaction MBBS.
Also note that these valuated special stocks are managed independently of the normal stock. If, for example, you change the Moving Average Price of your normal stock in MBEW, this will not have any influence on your project stock, as the data is under a totally diferent table QBEW.

When I view the sales view, I am not able to see the Curr.FinalPrc value (sales price) under Current Price Control.
What should I do to get it to appear after my IDOC input?

Try to debug it.

Adding Cost of Sales for Non-Stock articles to POS Inbound Pricing Schema

Hi guys
I'm working on a requirement to derive the Cost of Sales for non-stock items by pulling the current cost for the site and multiplying it by the billed quantity on VBRP. We could create a new condition type using purchase org, article and site in the condition table and manually enter condition records. However it would be more elegant to copy prices from the Purchasing list or deal prices into new condition types in the POS inbound pricing procedure. However SAP standard doesn't seem to allow condition copying from purchasing to sales.

As it happens you need to do this for Non-Stock Articles only.... then you need a routine to do this .
And then in IS -Retail do we not use NETPrice or Final Cost Price to derive the Sales Price ... In that case you get the Cost Price when the Billing doc is getting posted at line level...

Article automatically closes after updating the article in the folio builder?

For some reason, every time I update an article in the folio builder, the article closes automatically - this is extremely annoying because I like to keep all articles open while working and hate that every time I update, I must reopen it. It seems to be a setting but I've searched preferences etc and can't find any setting to turn this off?

It is only happening with a particular folio yes (my ipad rendition in particular). Other folios update and do not close the updating article.
I'm using the latest cloud version of InDesign - whichever one in the creative cloud app that's currently running. And I use Mac.
I reset the preferences as you suggested but it is still closing the article - it's very strange because it only does it with that particular folio. At least it only does it with that folio or I'd pull my hair out haha

History of Article Purchase Price (ERP)

The only way that I know to get the calculated purchase price for an article in ERP is by using the function EINA_E_SINGLE_READ. However, this function always returns the today's price. Is there a way to get the price from the past, on given date?

Hi, that function appears to be looking a the purchase info record, which has a static price, I think you need to look directly at the purchase orders for that article, you can check table EKPO for line items, this will have the net price, you can also check PO history table EKBE this will show receipts against the PO with the price.

Problen in price updating in sale order

Dear All,
I have maintained pricing condition based on customer Price list (KNVV-PLTYP)
and price list type assigned in customer master.But I am facing two problems during
updating sale order.
1.If I assign the price list in customer master(KNVV-PLTYP) and then use carry out new
pricing in sale order, New Prices are not updating in the sale order mainatined on price list.
2.If I change the price list type in customer master (XD02) from X to Y and then
using the carry out new pricing in sale order, prices are not updating in sale order
as per price list Y.
Plz suggest how I can resolve this.

In the sale order item level condition tab,goto analysis and check the combination in which system is capturing the price.
Then you will be knowing the root cause.

In Design is regularly crashing when updating an article

I'm getting frequent In Design crashes when I update the article, seems to be when it is converting some images judging by the procress bar. but I tried removing all graphics and it still crashed. Not sure where to start looking, the page has quite a lot of MSO all with several actions. Could this be the cause?

thanks, I narrowed down one cause of the crash, I have interactive elements on a seperate layers to help organise things better, if you update while a layer is invisible it almost always crashes for me ( possibly because some actions are referencing hidden layers) but it crashed a few times when all layers where visible, if it does it again I'll try your tips.. its crashing at "writting png" stage

Global price update in existing open Sales Order

I have one scenario -
My customer will enter a sales order .
For example :
Customer A buy X at 10 at 05/26/2009 and his delivery date is 05/30/2009
Management decide to do cost down by 15% of product A from 05/30/2009.
Business rule here is :
When customer sells at 05/30/2009 , price should reflect 15% inexisting order as well as new order .
For new order , we can specify the special and period volume discount , it will apply to new order .
In this scenario , how can we update the sales price of open sales order .
What are my options beside updating manually or DTW

If your Sales Orders are not locked by approval procedure, you could use DTW to update them. Otherwise, you may have to cancel the old and create new orders.

Why the Folio Producer update every article each time ?

I have remarked that the Folio Producer publish every article on the distribution server even if there's no update.
Before, the Folio Producer updated only articles which were modified by the folio builder.

It's a pain. For some reason I have 2979 Genius items that sync every time. It takes a half hour over wireless. WHY? I can't find an answer.
