Is the *file generate image assests feature available to me during the trial of PS CC?

i want to try this feature and it isnt working. do i have to download something else is it just not available during the free trial.

i pushed 100 keys until i figured it out?

Edit > Preferences > Plug-Ins : Enable Generator is checked
File > Generate > Image Assets : no check mark ever appears by "Image Assets" and no files are created

I actually reported my results from my mid 2009 Macbook, so now from Windows 7 x64/Dell CC 2014.
Create new file
Check Image assets, no checkmark.
Convert background into floating layer, rename it 1.png, swipe a brushstroke.
Now I'm able to checkmark and extract 1.png.

When selecting the Image Assets as taught in the video http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/generate-assets-layers.html I do not get a checkmark andtherefore this feature is not working. I am using Photoshop CC version 14.1.1 in a Windows 7 environment. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have Enable Generator checked. And yes, I have a PS document with layers open.
As I'm a developer I do have a very custom set-up on my machine.
By this I mean I have edited my PATH in command line and have a lot of things installed such as ruby, nodejs, git, etc.
Not sure if this would affect PS.

Do I need to reinstall entire Adobe PS CC 2014 application?
The folder /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/Plug-ins/Generator/ is in fact empty when I check. In fact so is the Plug-ins folder more generally.

Well I contacted Adobe Support via chat and after a long time getting them to understand the problem they conformed that there is no Adobe plug-in in the Plug-ins Folder, in spite of there being a Generator folder inside the Plug-ins folder it should be empty and the whole plug-in folder: it's default install state is empty.
A reinstall did however fix the problem. Perhaps Javascript was not working, given the Dialog message.

LR 5.6 doesn't support the new Nikon D750. You have to wait to the next update.
You con also install the release candidate of the DNG converter and convert your NEF files to dng.

Generating images on the fly to use as backgrounds for components

I am creating an application that has an input number slider with a background image. I would like to change the background image on the slider based on its position (as chosen by the user) using a partial trigger.
I have successfully been able to do update the background images if I have these images inside of my "Web Content" folder within my JDeveloper project. Instead, I would like to be able to generate the images as needed. These images are color gradients where the start/stop of the gradient is based on the slider's thumb position (as well as other user-defined variables). Because there are many different images that could possibly be created, I am looking into generating the images at runtime rather than have hundreds of images stored somewhere.
I am trying to generate these images using a BufferedImage that I can then write to a file. The path I am saving it at is as follows:

I then create the file at the path and use ImageIO to write it:

I am saving this file path in a variable in my backing bean that I then use on my ADF page to populate the background image field of the slider.
Problem: when I run the page, my slider does not have a background image.
Looking at the location where the file should be saved, it is actually "saving" it within a .war file which I don't think is appropriate (or possible, for that matter). Is there some way that I can save it either on the server side or the client side so that the client can see the background actually being updated using the generated image? I am almost positive that the path I listed above is incorrect - if this is the correct approach for this problem, where would be an appropriate location?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Instead of saving the image to a file, why not use a Servlet to write the image to the Servlet's response stream. Then, you just point the background image to the Servlet.

X509 is for public keys, not private keys. You need PKCS8 using PKCS8EncodedKeySpec on the hex decoded private key string.
Your method for reading the private key from the file is flawed. The method available() does not guarantee to give you the file length. This is easy to prove since files can be longer than Integer.MAX_VALUE and available() returns an 'int'. To get the file length use File.length() which returns a 'long'. Also, reading from an InputStream using
input.read(buffer); does not guarantee to read all the bytes. For that you need to use something like DataInputStream.readFully().

I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
So, let's try this:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.

How to break the PDF file into images? There should be settings in Photoshop CS 6 that imports PDF file and break it into images. I have a short instruction:
2.    Open the file in Photoshop.
3.    A new window should open to Import PDF. Click on images, not pages import pdf into Photoshop.doc
4.    Select all the files shown (shift + click), Click O.K. Four files should open on your screen.
Was anybody successful with that?

Whether this is available solely depends on the structure of the PDF and whether it actually contains whole images that can be extracted separately. Depending on whatgoing on in the PDF this may simply not be the case and the images have been tiled and split up in multiple "objects" whose appearance can only be retained by rasrerizing the whole page...

As you see this code snippet is a xml format private key. at .net platform,which can use encrypt or dencrypt.
i have try the Extension Crypt RSA ( http://pear.php.net/reference/Crypt_RSA-1.0.0/elementindex_Crypt_RSA.html ) to help me encrypt data by php.but it haven't return a currect result. the data encrypted by php cann't dencrypt by c#.
does the RSA algorithm provider by Crypt_RSA can give a stand result as c#?

While using a drop-down menu i.e. File, edit, image, or even when saving as and choosing the file type; the list appears and I am able to highlight what i want but cannot click on anything.

This is becoming incredibly frustrating. It happens at random time and a restart of the computer is all that helps, then with out any notice it starts to do this again. Mac Book Pro i7 2.2 16 GB 1333 Ram, (2) 450GB SSD both internal to machine. At this point I am losing file because I am unable to save in the file type I need. Does anyone out there know how to solve this issue?

I haven't been unify photoshop much in the past month, but I did try your suggestion and it seemed to work for a while. Today when i went to save a document the same thing happened: click on file>save at this point I can not click on save even though it is highlighted. Tryed to use command s that brings up the save dialogue box, but when I try to change file type I again cannot select it from the drop down menu.

Photoshop CS3, wanting to batch re-size JPGs, going: file-scripts-image processor, the batch images are greyed out can't be highlighted

Hi - I am trying to batch re-size JPGs in CS3. I go: file-scripts-image processor and select a batch of JPGs but these are greyed out and can't be highlighted, therefore can't be re-sized. This function worked in the past and suddenly does not. Reading forums on this topic I find I should remove/trash 'Photoshop Preferences'. But I am struggling to find Photoshop Preferences. Really would appreciate simple instructions written for the layman not a computer savvy individual, on how/where to locate these, please. Many thanks.

A few things to try.
1)Since jpg's are finiky with bit modes, make sure your mode is in 8-bits per channel only. (found in the image>mode menu)
2)you could try resetting the preferences by using the 3 modifier keys at startup. ctrl-alt-shift(windows) cmd-opt-shift(mac) Hold these three keys down when you start photoshop if done right when photoshop starts you should get a dialog box asking if you want to reset the preferences)
3)If these do not help specify the version of photoshop, what OS you have and its version. Then someone can tell you the location of the preference files since it is different on windows vs. a mac.

Saving PDF files as image files using the Preview application

I'm converting PDF files into image files for use with OCR software. The problem is that changing the pixels/inch option from 150 to say 300 does not improve the resolution of the resulting image file. E.g. if I save at 150 p/i and then 300p/i both image files are the same size and resolution. I've tried JPG, JPG-2000, TIFF, and GIF. All produce the same fuzzy result. What am I doing wrong?

The schematic file is made up from vector graphics. There are no images embedded in it. For some reason the OCR software (PDF pen) will not recognize the vector drawn characters near the various components. e.g. There may be a resistor with "R5" written next to it. This is the resistors designator. The designator is what I am trying to do the search on. Since PDF pen can perform OCR on scanned (image) documents I thought that turning the PDF schematic into an image file e.g. JPG using Preview would do the trick. Unfortunately as I have already mentioned I can not seem to get Preview to improve the resolution on the resulting image file - the OCR software struggles to recognize any print.

Is the *file generate image assests feature available to me during the trial of PS CC?
