Is there a clip pool option?
Hi, I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro. my skills are basic
I recently converted our familys old 8mm movies to AVI. the only thing is I have no idea of the chronological order - I was given 6 reels and just put one after another.
So I have imported all 6 into a sequence and into the timeline (Video 1 track). I then went through the process of slicing each scene, there were lots as the camera was a wind up model so each clip only lasts a minute at most.
My question is, can I put them all in a pool (maybe along the side) and then drag them into the timeline as I figure out the chronological order?
Or should I just drag them to Video Track 2 as I go?
Any help would be appreciated.

The default for both is 0.1%.
Another way to see this is to set the location of the Aperture library to somewhere else, when you restart Aperture it will come up with an empty library.

They do not effect RAW rendering at all. What they affect is the auto-levels buttons amove them - both the color and the lumenence versions.
The way auto-levels works is that it goes to the very edge of the image from one end or the other where you start seeing values, and set the starting/ending point there - stretching out the histogram in the process to be more full-bodied. The values in these two slider define how far into the existing hsitogram the points will be moved, to clip out the brightest and darkest parts of the image. The higher you make these values the more pure black/pure white pixels you'll get.
As for the mosiac, some cameras were getting that in RAW conversion. I do not think the update patched any RAW conversions, that will probably coem with an OS update that should also be along any day now. then you may see some imrovement, though again it would depend on what they update and what camera you have. -
[CS3] Clipping Path Options Zero Out?
Hi:
I'm posting this for a couple of users in my studio (haven't actually experienced it myself).
They swear that they occasionally place an EPS and in Object/Clipping Path they select the type: Photoshop Path and choose a path.
Then, for no apparent reason, the type swings from "Photoshop Path" to "None".
I tend to think this is actually occurring when they drag a bunch of images from one document to another (these two operators work on a monthly catalog where a lot of art carries forward). Still, I don't understand why a clipping path option would change.
Anyone else experience this behavior? (Please, no rants on how we should stop using EPS -- we are moving as quickly as possible to psds wtih transparencies, but I've got a ton of images with both "tight to image" clippling paths and "drop shadow" clipping paths so it isn't that easy).

In the studio everyone has Intel MacPros with 4GB of RAM -- up in Creative land, there's still a lot of old 1.8GHz G5s kicking around that just die when the ADs are working with a catalog with dozens of hi-rez images. (The more junior ADs with the crappy G5s get stuck with the print work while the senior guys who spend all their time in broadcast editing suites have Intels they use for email and web surfing -- makes no sense to me). Also, the ADs involve complain bitterly at the time it takes to print a catalog out with hi-rez art.
So, we stage the hi-rez art on a Xinet volume, give them access to the FPO volume (Xinet automatically creates and imbeds a low-rez proxy of anything that's thrown on the hi-rez volume) and that's what they use in their comps. When the comps transition to the studio, we simply re-link the art to their hi-rez versions.
We only do this on the big monthly projects -- everyday ads and direct mail pieces are handled as you describe.

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.
If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

I want to install apps using itunes from my pc but there is only on option for doing that i.e. itunes replace the installed apps with apps on itunes. Is there any other way for doing that without replacing my apps ???
Ipod touch will sync with one computer at a time. If you sync to another then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

iCloud has my old Apple ID and is prompting for a password, but I want to put in the new id, I can't because it is grey and there is no edit option. I'm prompted for a password to an account that doesn't exist. Anyone know what I can do to fix this or why this is happening.? I had no issue putting in my new Apple ID everywhere else, I could sign out of the old and inactive account and then sign back in using my new and proper one. However, after the update to 7.3 it did a whole welcome to yr iPad and a set up thing and it went to set up iCloud and had my old Apple ID in grey where I can't change or edit it, it wants the password, when I put in the old password, it say yr Apple ID is incorrect but yet it won't let me change it??????? Anyone???
Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

When I try to set up an Apple ID, it's asking for a credit card, and there is no "None" option, like this page suggests. How can I bypass this? This iPad is for a younger child who has no credit card, and will not need to make any purchases.
You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps -
I made a in app purchase on a game and it never took, when I went back and tried it again a window popped up that said I have already purchased this item but has not been downloaded yet? How do I download it when there is not a option to download?

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.

I really need help. I try to contact support to no avail. There simply is no option on the site, You are always referred to a further topic which has notihing to do with my problem. I bougnt a full master pack CS6 which I had installed on a mac for one year. Then, I decided to change it to another computer, so I sisintalled it according to instructions. In the meantime I got a free trial of creative cloud on that computer, but I gave up and decided to reinstall my cd-roms. However, everytime I try to use acrobat for instance it says that my trial period ran out! I disinstalled my cloud products, I am using my registered full master series items, they have nothing whatsoever to do with my creative cloud FREE subscription. If I try to cancel my free membership, it is to no avail, there simply is no such possiblity. I want to use the software I paid dearly for, not the cloud items I disinstalled and which do not interest me. How can I contact Adobe to fix it? It was no fault of mine, I did all I was supposed to, disintalling items before installing the right ones, but the system must have some error i am not responsible for.

There should be an option to ordenate songs on "The", nor the next word.
I don't know why, but when I add a song to my Music Library, when it begins with "The"/"El"/"La", its ordened by the second word.
Example, I add a song from The Rolling Stones. Its ordened like "Rolling Stones", and i want to get this on "The".
There should be an option to chose how to ordenate the library.
*Sorry for the bad english, im spanishIn iTunes for Windows the auto-sort feature is controlled by the file C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\<Region Code>.lproj\SortPrefixes.plist. For English the words ignored for sorting are "A ", "An " & "The ". You could edit this list or just use the Sort Artist, Sort Album Artist etc. fields as necessary when you'd like something sorted into a different position. Don't have access to a computer to check the Spanish list but you should be able to chose which values auto-sort.

I have been able to get Airplay to work with my iPad 3 and 3rd Generation iPad TV, however there is no mirroring option when I hit the airplay icon - hence I can get audio, but no video.
iPad software: iOS 5.1.1
Apple TV software: 5.0.2 (4250)
Any thoughts as to what's going wrong?Are you enabling Airplay mirroring properly?
Double click the Home button, scroll to the leftmost screen and under Airplay look to turn mirroring On.
