Is there a Component for rendering images with Absolute URLs?

I would like a component like <h:graphicImage> that would accept absolute URLs instead of relative ones. Does such a beast exist or should I write one myself?
Note, I'm looking for a component because I want the image to appear in a table and the URL changes for every row. If I just handcode a <img> tag in the <h:column> tag, it doesn't get rendered for every row.

<h:graphicImage> can use absolute URL.

PTGui Pro should appear in your 'Open With' list bottom section, at least it shows on my system (Mac)
Be aware that PTGui can only handle jpeg, tiff and PNG and it only handles Raw files using the DCraw converter (Open source originally developed for Linux).
Only applications that support the particular file type you select appear in the Open With list.
And on a Mac I can drag and drop jpeg and tiff from Bridge to the project assistant.

I have a outlook 2007 plugin created in VS 2008 that reads calendar meetings. This plugin also works with outlook 2010. I used to debug this application from VS 2010 as well.
Last month, I installed Office 365 to test something. Later I uninstalled this version but after that my plugin application is crashing, every time a new appointment/meeting is created in calendar.
I get the below error:

Well,
it's up to you. The first part (Mcit-Project-ViewController-context-root) is the context root which you define in the view controller project. 'faces' is the name the servlet filter reacts on. You can't omit it but shorten it in web.xml. The rest is your directory structure. I'm not sure how to shorten this other as to move the jspx files back into the web root folder.
By the way an ADF faces app never uses the .jspx at the end of the url. If you specify '.jspx', you only render the page but don't start the work flow.

Is there a way to use a single bitmapdata for multiple images with GPU mode?

With GPU mode is there a way to bring in a single 1024 X 1024 png containing all my sprites and then slice it up into multiple display objects all refering to the original BitmapData?
I have an app that runs in GPU mode - but I want to optimize the image management.
I am making three sets of images in the orders of 2048, 1024 and 512 px.
The app is a book app and each page has around 4 to 5 bitmaps. I would like to bring in one single image and slice it up - but just refer to the original bitMapData in the memory.
Is there a way to do this - e.g. using a masking technique?
I think it is possible using textures in direct mode - but that is not an ideal solution for me - as the app is already in the appstore - and I would have to entirely refactor it for stage3D. Currently, I use jpgs and a jpeg mask file for each image which I composite to get the alpha - then I scale them.
PNGs may be better for GPU - (no compositing) but they make for a huge app file.
Now I am converting it to use diffent sized assets depending on the device, then scaling them if need, and then compositing them for apha. What I was hoping was to find a technique that could reduce the number of bitmapdata objects used and reduce the operations in general.
Any thoughts on optimizing would be appreciated. I can add my code here if it helps.

Never mind. After testing with my android tablet I found it was the headphones. They are Bose QC 15. The original battery was running down but work great yesterday. I suspected the battery and changed it but the problem persisted which led me to blame the upgrade. I should have known better. My apple devices have been flawless. Sorry for crying wolf...

Standard component for rendering WPC Pages

Hi Everybody,
I'm looking for the standard component that is used to render a Web Page Composer Page.
I'd like to create a wrapper for this component. But I can't seem to find which component I need to create a wrapper for.
Does anybody know what component I need to do this? And can this component be called using a url? This would make things even easier for me.

Let's assume you want to create a custom renderer which will be used to render the error-messages (the h:messages tag). The component-family in this case is: javax.faces.Messages, the renderer-type javax.faces.Messages.
Therefor in your application's faces-config.xml add this renderer-statement (inside a render-kit, obviuosly):

</faces-config>The code for MessagesRenderer is very dependent on your needs, therefor I will not post something here. Basically you need to extend javax.faces.render.Renderer. For help in that camp, surf to the online tutorials or get yourself a book (I learned a lot from Kito Mann's "JSF in Action"). Additionally grab the source for Sun's RI AND Myfaces and dig into that java-code. There is a huge learning potential looking at that source-material.

Are there any fixes for the iPad 2 IOS 8.1.1? I've had problems with Safari and other Apps crashing or locking up, and with extremely slow touch response. These problems have been occurring since the last update. At times the iPad becomes unusable. I have been keeping all programs closed and history and web site data cleared. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have exactly the same problem. The device was my favorite computer until 8.1.1. Now it runs s-l-o-w-l-y, requires endless reboots.
To improve the performamce, I have tried these:
1.Go to Setting->General->Accessibility->Reduce Motion. Turn on.
2.Reset iPad device settings using Setting->General->Reset->Reset All Settings. Its increase iPad performance little better.
3.Hold the sleep/wake button and home button upto 8 seconds. This will turn off your iPad. Then turn on iPad. Wait few moments. Do the same thing twice to solve this issue.
Solution 3 worked for me. And, I always recommend you to backup your iPad first before any action to avoid any data loss.

Due to a drive failure, I had to reconstruct my iTunes library from a back up. When I did this, I also upgraded to iTunes 11.0.1 (12) and discovered hundreds of tracks with cloud icons, some I had purchased, some I don't remember ever purchasing. Because ONE album with a cloud was one I'd purchased from iTunes a couple of days prior, I assumed that these were all free-access - that is, I have rights to download.
I started clicking on the hundreds of cloud icons and the downloading began flooding through.
Is there a fee for downloading? I didn't see any new fees in my account, but those things can take days. There was not prompt asking "if I wanted to purchase".

I am very new to Flash and have been going around in circles for days trying to figure this out.
I can't get swf to loadMovie when on server. I understand I need to use the path relative to the html page.
Server info:
Server Name:   server33.000webhost.com
Home Root (file system path):   /home/a6667948
Folder to upload files:   public_html
Have tried this but doesn't work:

My html page and 'Images' folder are located inside 'public_html' folder.
Main.swf and Test.swf are both located inside 'Images'.

if you use an absolute url you will have security issues to overcome. unless you're loading a swf from a different domain, there's no reason to add this additional complexity to your task.
if you can use a relative path, you need to know the path from the html file that embeds your main swf to the swf you want to load.

My book was rejected for containing images with embedded text. Does Apple not make exceptions for graphic novels, etc.?

I created my first book with iBooks Author, and am trying to publish it as a paid book in the iBookstore. It is a book of writing and photography, and each page contains one or more photographs. Some of the photographs are of handwritten notebook pages, and these are an essential and expressive part of the book. The handwritten notes were written when taking the photographs, and the book is a thoughtful visual journal about walking and photography. Replacing the handwriting with typewritten text would not work at all.
However, Apple rejected my book because "Embedding text in images creates issues that cause a large number of customer complaints."
I understand the reasoning behind this requirement, and certainly it is appropriate for most books. But does Apple make exceptions for books that need to present text visually? I would call my book an "artist's book", but it could be thought of as a graphic novel. Surely there are other books besides mine that require text embedded in images.

This sounds like something you have to take up with Apple directly rather than here in the user/user forums. You might want to try the contacts listed at the bottom of the FAQ:

It might be helpful to find some things in the store yourself that demonstrate such exceptions, so you can ask for equal treatment.
