Is there a getpixel() type operation?

I have an image file loaded into a movie clip. The image has
a wavy line running horizontally through it, and i want to detect
the 'y' value of the line as the image scrolls by, at a specific
'x' on the screen. The line is just part of the image, so is there
a way to detect its location by color somehow?

There's a getPixel() function in the BitmapData class,
available since Flash 8. If the line's color is known and unique in
the image (e.g. black line on white background), it should be
possible to loop through all y values at a given x, and check for
the line's color value. All you need to do is create a BitmapData
object from the image or from the MC containing the image, see the
BitmapData entry in the Flash Help.

Do you want the disk to play in a DVD player on a TV set? If so you will have to use iDVD to create and burn the disk. Export the slideshow to the Movie folder at the large size.
Next open iDVD, create a project and select a theme. Then drag the slideshow movie file into the menu's window being careful to avoid any dropzones.
Follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality final product:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
Note: if you don't have iDVD on your MBP then you'll have to purchase the iLife 11 disc from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11. That's because Apple doesn't offer it any more.

There is a type of partner to indicate a different supplier (vendor) for RFQ. How can I use the partners (ex. by plan) from agreement when I create RFQ in reference PReq with agreement like source of supply?
I defined OA for Ordering Address partner by plan for the agreement. I would like use the good partner by plan when I process a PReq (agreement with source supply) in RFQ.

Hi there
The only other options you have are a Widget for a Scrambled Word quiz. There is nothing for Crossword or Drag and drop pictures to my knowledge. But you never know. There may be some clever individual out there creating such a widget at this very moment!

Is there a specific type of mic to use with Garage Band?

Recently I purchased a mini-plug microphone from Wal-Mart to record my first podcast. However, after pluggin it in, I was unable to get and levels in GB or iMovie.
Is there a specific type of microphone that I need to purchase to record podcasts?

For ease of use I went with a USB microphone. I started with a headset mic combo from logitek. It was Ok, but I thought I needed something better, so I got a Blue Snowball. It worked great. Super sound quality for the price, and I just had to plug it in, and set my pref in Garageband to accept it as the new input device.

Doing a restore will more than likely resolve the problem. Plug the phone into iTunes, select your phone under DEVICES, and press Restore. This will restore your phone to factory settings. Now, after the restore is complete, you have two options:
1) Restore from Backup
This will let you restore all of the content you had on your phone but may also restore the other person's notes and their ability to sync notes to your phone.
2) Set Up as New iPhone
Your data will not be restored, but you can always sync content back later as long as it is in iTunes. On the positive side, this would positively remove any setting that would allow someone else's notes to appear on your phone.
You will be presented with these two options after the restore. I recommend restoring from a backup first so you won't lose your data, but if it doesn't solve the problem, proceed to restore as a new phone.

The air is different dimensions from other iPads, so look for cases made specifically for it. I know that Targus has some, so does Zagg and i'm sure other manufacturers do as well.
