Is there a limit in marking replies 'Helpful' ?

Hi,
In the new forums, there might be several replies which I find 'Helpful' . But, now I can mark only a maximum of two replies 'Helpful'.
For example: In the below thread, I was able to mark only two replies 'Helpful' . The 'Helpful' button doesn't appear on replies which I want to mark 'Helpful'

is there a limit in the amount of films that can be synced
While it is likely the number of files (fils) may be limited to a maximum number (e.g., a 32-bit integer or larger value), it is more likely that you would be limited by available storage space than anything else given the typical size of the average "film" file.

There is a question mark over My Documents on the sidebar.
Not sure what happened to the folder.
    How can I restore it?

You can try dragging that alias off the sidebar (command-key) and drag a new one from your user folder into place.

  • Is there a limit on number of SANs in Lync certificate

    Hi,
We are in the process of deploying Lync 2013 for a very large client. They have multiple companies and multiple sister companies. We are planning to use a single cert for the whole deployment. Net / Net 120 - 130 domains.
My question is, is there any limit on number of domains in SAN of the certifiate. Has anyone used SSL.com for UC certificate.
    Regards,
    Lisa

Have you looked at Joachim Dissing's blog about handling many sip domains? http://exchangepro.dk/2014/01/13/how-to-handle-many-sip-domains/ You might want to also check
out the Lync 2013 Hosting Pack: http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=39101
As for Third Party CAs I believe the limits are:
    DigiCert: 25 domain names
    GeoTrust: 25 domain names
    Thawte: 25 domain names
    Symantec: 25 domain names
    GlobalSign: 100 domain names
    GoDaddy: 100 domain names
    Entrust: 100+ domain names
    Comodo: 210 domain names
    SSL.com: 2000 domain names
Keep in mind you should choose a provider that is an approved UCC provider: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929395/en-us
Please mark posts as answers/helpful if it answers your question.

  • Marking Replies as "Correct," etc.

Adobe is monitoring the support provided by the Adobe Forums. Part of that monitoring is data gathering on how effect the Replies and the forums are.
When one posts a problem to the forums, they, only they (or one of the MOD's), have the ability to mark a Reply as "Correct," or "Helpful." If "Correct" is chosen, then the thread is marked as "Answered." This does two things:
It provides the Adobe Forum Support Team with info to go to the upper-management of Adobe, to prove that the forums are viable for support.
It also provides users, who visit the forum later on, with the same, or similar problems, with knowledge that a particular threads HAS an answer, that was useful to the OP.
There is also a little set of buttons in the Replies, "Was this helpful? Yes - No" that anyone can choose. This also provides data to the Adobe Forum Support Team, as it shows that others, viewing the thread, found the Reply to bue helpful to them.
To all OP's, please stop back by your threads and mark Replies as "Correct," or "Helpful," when they are That will mean a lot to the future of the Adobe Forums.
To all, who read threads, if you find a Reply helpful to you, please take a moment to let Adobe know that it was helpful - anyone can do this, and not just the OP.
    Thank you,
    Hunt

  • Is there a limit to custom views that can be created on a list?

As the title says, is there a limit to the number of custom views that can be created on a SharePoint list?  I did a few online searches and someone mentioned 50, but one of my list already has more then 50 custom views so I'd like to know what the
    true limit is.
    Anyone know?

The only hard limit is to the number of views that can be shown in the drop down on the UI which is 50 (first 50 actually). I would agree with the assessment made here that the actual limit might be hypothetical but it all comes down to the performance in
    rendering and retrieving these views.
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/8a0f9d4a-626a-4a54-916a-a1e347835c5e/what-is-the-limit-if-there-is-one-on-the-amount-of-views-that-can-be-on-a-single-sharepoint-list?forum=sharepointgeneralprevious
I would suggest re looking at your approach to address the requirement by creating these many views and whether something else (dynamic pages, metadata navigation, term navigation, content search web parts etc.) can address the actual requirement
and in process actually improve page performance.

  • How many Apps can i have on my iPod Touch, is there a limit?

Is there a limit on how many Apps i can have on my iPod Touch?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot, that was very helpful.
I am pretty sure that there's 16 Apps per page,
    so...16 X 9 = 144 - 13 pre installed Apps.
131 total available (slots) for Apps.

  • Is there a limit to the number of Apple TV's attached to an iTunes Library

I recently replaced 7 (seven) Version 1 Apple TV's with Version 3 Apple TV's and noticed that I now receive an error, "Cannot connect to the iTunes Library, ensure that you are on the same network, etc." on two of the Apple TV's. Shutting down iTunes and relaunching results in two others not being able to connect, but two of the previous non-connects now do. I've tried this several times and each time it appears as if only 5 of the ATV's can connect at once. Is this a limit imposed upon by Apple? Is there any workaround besides having two of the "non-connects" access the iTunes store for purchased content? The library is extensive and contains a lot of purchased content, but also contains legacy content from old CD's, DVD's and the like. I'd like to be able to access all of it if possible.
Note that the way this used to work with the older ATV's was that 2 would directly sync and 5 would stream. But with each new iteration of iTunes these ATV's seemed to get flakier and flakier hence the replacement. The new ATV's are all connected via Home Sharing.
I'm running iTunes 11.0.2 on a Mac Mini OS X Server (10.6.8). Would it help to upgrade to the latest OS?  I can understand bandwidth issues, but we're running a Gigabit ethernet (wired) network to these ATV's and the old ones worked fine previously. Why impose this limit? Come on Apple. Give us a little love for those of us that push your tech to the limit.

  • TS2734 Is there a limit to how many devices I can see with one account?

Our school district, has numerous ipads..we have set up the find my ipad on each one is there a limit to the number of IPADS i can register under one account to locate the ipads with the icloud?

From what i've read on here that SR102 Hub is only capable of accepting 20 wireless connections(might even be lower and just 16) anymore and it can cause devices to loose connection or just not connect at all.
There is as of yet no way around this limit with the hub( you could purchase a wireless access point or a better router to piggyback onto the hub which might help). Edit the intial number of connection i stated may be wrong so i've adjusted the figure.

  • Is there a limit in the number of user accounts on Mavericks?

    Hi
I would like to create a system with a lot of user accounts (+/- 200).
    I have two questions:
    - Is there a limit in the user accounts on Mavericks? Where can I find more infomation about this?
    - Is there a possibility to automatically create a high number of accounts? Or at least some sort of template?
    Huge thanks for any help.

I don't think that there is a limit.

I have 14188 songs in my library and 14128 on my iPod, which is nowhere near full.
Although I don't know of a maximum number, I haven't had an issue yet and I don't expect to. So to answer your question - no, I don't believe there is.

  • Is there a limit to the number of photos added to iMovie?

I am trying to add more photo stills to a project but iMovie will not add more than the 495 I have in there. I know it is an enormous amount of still photos but in they are short in duration and I'd like to add about 130 more to complete this project. Any photos past this mark are simply being rejected/not added by the program no matter how many times I try to drag them over even one at a time. Is there a limit? Can I overcome this some how?

I would recommend that you put the photos that you need in order in an iPhoto album.
326 should be no problem. I have done that many or more.
To drag them into iMovie, open the Photo Browser in iMovie and look for the album. There should be an icon for the album. Drag the icon for the album into your iMovie Project. (rather than dragging the photos one at a time).
Since you are having sluggish behavior, I would recommend that you shut down iMovie, restart your Mac, and start over with a new project, unless you have too much work invested, in which case, try the old project first.
Here is a sample of a project where I dragged about 300 photos into a project from an iPhoto album.

  • Is there a limit to the number of images in a slide show?

I am making a slide show for an event and would like to use lots of pictures, is there a limit in the number of images in a folder? the number of images in a slide show?

is there a limit in the number of images in a folder? the number of images in a slide show?
None that I know off. But why are you asking? Did you notice any performance problems or problems to render the slideshow? Then it would help to know more about your hardware RAM, disk, CPU ..
If you already encountered problems, you may wish to have a look at this thread - although it relates to Aperture 3, not 2:
Is there a limit on the number of photos you can use in an Aperture slideshow?
And as I said in that thread:
I'd expect the limiting factor to the length of a slide show to be the patience and "Good Will" of your intended audience

  • Is there a limit to Number of Tracks in DVDSP

I have a client who want to put package 80 seperate interviews.
Is there a limit to the number of video tracks that DVDSP can handle?
    Help appreciated

Yup... you can have up to 99 tracks, including stories and slideshows in that number.
However, there is really no reason to have one clip per track... you could put several (or all 80) into a single track if needs be.
