Is there a recommended "order" for displaying CSS shorthand attributes?

When using shorthand (for background tags, for example) is
there a
"preferred" or "recommended" order of displaying the
attributes?
background: url(filename.jpg) no-repeat left top fixed
background: no-repeat left fixed top url(filename.jpg)
etc.

It's safer to assume that the order is important than to
assume that it's
not. Try giving the font style a random order, for example.
Or the list
style....

• Recommended order for running clean-up wizard in wsus upstream / replica hierarchy

Hi :)
Is there anywhere documented recommended order for running clean-up wizard in wsus upstream / replica hierarchy ?
Should I first run on Upstream and than on Replica or vice versa ?
I've found on this blog
http://www.madanmohan.com/2010/10/sms-wsus-synchronization-failed.html that clean-up should be run always from bottom (replica) to the top (upstream).
Also, is there any news for WSUS 4 :) ?
Best regards

YES,you'd better run the WSUS Server Clean-up Wizard from the bottom of the WSUS hierarchy to the top and NEVER from the top down.
I totally disagree! The Server Cleanup Wizard should be run on the upstream server first, to ensure that
updates that will be deleted are no longer synchronized to the downstream server. Furthermore, if you run the SCW on the downstream server first, and it deletes updates that have had status changes on the upstream server that need to be replicated,
this may throw a synchronization error on the downstream server. The downstream server should NEVER be intentionally put in a configuration that makes it different from the upstream server, and running the SCW on a downstream server before running it on an
upstream server would do exactly that.
For more details on my thoughts about how to use the Server Cleanup Wizard in a replica environment, please view my webcast from Sep 2010

• Recommended order for Arch's 2012 update manual interventions

Well, sending my laptop off for repairs has forced me to use my old laptop which has been sitting around gathering dust since April 2012. As we all know, a bunch of fun stuff happened with Arch Linux just after that. I don't want to re-install and I seem to remember that, after we got through that mess, someone posted a recommended order for handling each of the changes for computers that needed to do all the updates at once. I'm having trouble finding that info. Does anyone remember the proper order or have the link to that info? The computer already has systemd installed.
By my count, I will need to handle:
udev -> systemd-tools
filesystem manual intervention
the libc debacle
fontconfig manual intervention
consolekit -> logind
the later filesystem & libc update: on its own it was simple, but compounded with the problems from summer 2012, it might be painful
Bonus level: replace GRUB with GRUB 2
The filesystem and libc ones are the main things to worry about, I think.

Yes, I got my to-do list from the news page. The only reason for this post is that I remember someone saying that, if all of them need to be done at once, there is a recommended order to doing them. I'm trying to find that info. Otherwise, I'll just go in chronological order.

• Is there a recommended size for photos used in Keynote?

I'm creating a slide presentation for our leadership program's graduation showing in photos all the activities. Is there a recommended size (in pixels or dpi) for full slide photos?

It really depends on the size of the screen that the presentation will displayed on. If the file size of the Keynote doc is not an issue you can make the resolution (in px) as large as you care to.
DPI is not relevent since it is used for print.

• ME23N - Read Last Purchase Order for Display

Hi,
We are upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6 and one of the problems the users have identified is that when displaying the purchase order with transactions ME22N or ME23N the last purchase order that was worked on is not always the one that is displayed.
This is very evident when creating a PO with ME21N and then switching to view it on ME23N - in ECC6 the PO that was created is never the PO that is displayed on ME23N; whereas in 4.6C creating a PO with ME21N and switching to ME23N the PO that was created is ALWAYS the PO that is displayed on ME23N.
It this feature (whatever) no longer available with ECC6? Is it a configuration settings that we haven't properly set in ECC6?
Thanks for any help.
Martha

I analysed how SAP remembers the previous purchase order number in transaction ME23N in version 4.7 as I do not have access to version ECC6. In version 4.7 transaction ME23N reads table ESDUS (MM: Dynamic User Settings) in the following way
ESDUS-UNAME = sy-uname
ESDUS-ACTION = 'MEPO'
ESDUS-ELEMENT = 'Application         Po_Process'
The purchase order number is the first 10 characters of ESDUS-ACTIVE (ESDUS-ACTIVE+0(10)).
When you read a new purchase order SAP writes that order number to table ESDUS using function module ES_SAVE_USER_SETTINGS. When you revisit the transaction SAP uses function module ES_READ_USER_SETTINGS to read the purchase order number stored in table ESDUS.
Ask an ABAP programmer to investigate this in your system with the information I have provided you. He/She should be able to find out what is going wrong. I am limited because I do not have access to your system. Hope this helps. Please let me know what the ABAP programmer found out.

• Is there a recommended size for the iPhoto Library

I have a large iphoto library .. and when I say large i mean it .. over 500GB ... mostly RAW files... over 50,000 images
And even if my system was handlying things great till now .. i7 processor with 16GB of RAM .. I can see the system slowing down a bit lately ..
Wondering if there's a reccomanded library size as I can't find any info .. and yes I know i can break up the library but i don't want to do that ..
I do use Lightroom .. but don't like the way it organize things .. and also use Aperture .. but ... not impressed at all .... and having a feeling Apple will soon pass it out .. no, i don't have any inside information .. just my feeling.
I just would like to know if there's a max size in order to avoid a DB corruption .. or something similar.
Or max size for best performances ..
thanks

No max size and as to preformance that mostly has to do with your ahrdware - and youve got great stuff
Others have reported larger libraries but yours certainly is large
best protection against corruption is good backups

• Is there a recommended tutorial for editing multiple track regions?

I've been used to DP where you define a region of time on the sequence, select all the tracks you want to affect, then proceed to do any number of things with those tracks..like, maybe nudge them one way or another to line up a punch in more precisely. For example, I was tracking in another studio where they were using Nuendo. The session was laying down 8 tracks of drums to a stereo mix of the main tune. When the drummer wanted to go back and punch in a few bars, the engineer could grab the in and out of all 8 tracks of the punch in and easily line up the in point to a precise location, as well as trim the out.
Maybe I need to break out the manual again, but in Logic, I can set the locators, but only see the button where I can "cut" that selection, and am not sure if it's possible to move all the tracks around.
Anyway...thanks for any direction here.

Hello JAYUSBEEUS,
"iMovie is meant to work with firewire connected miniDV camcorders"
HDD camcorders record in MPEG format which is not accepted by iMovie. If you were to buy one of these cameras, you would have to convert all your recorded video to DV format before being able to edit it.
If you want to be able to edit your videos on your mac, your best choice is a MiniDV camcorder. Sony, Canon, and Panasonic have several models in your pricerange. My personal favorite is the Panasonic GS500, a 3-chip camcorder with very good pic quality at a reasonable price. In order to browse through some unbiased reviews go to www.camcorderinfo.com - maybe start reading here:

• Is there a recommended printer for a Mac Book Pro.

No. Recent HP printers are compatible with Macs, and this is the only thing you have to be worried about.
After getting the printer, you can add it to OS X in System Preferences > Print & Scan, and press the + button to add the printer. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3771

• Is there a limited range for the Offset (Turbulence) attribute?

Hi. I'm animating the Offset (Turbulence) attribute of the Turbulent Displacement effect, having it increase over time through a 4 minute animation, and I'm finding that some of my layers end up not animating either at the start or the end of the animation, and I suspect it may be because the value is going outside of some limited range the attribute may have (on the negative and positive sides).
So, I'm wondering if the Offset (Turbulence) attribute (for both the Turbulent Displacement effect, and all other effects that have that attribute) does have a limited range it can't go beyond.
What is really strange is that before I render it, I do a preview, and it seemed fine throughout... but in the final render, some layers will stop (again, either at the start or end), but be animating through the rest of the animation.
One other theory (although one I really can't see being valid) is that it's a memory thing?... only because the preview shows it fine, but the full res, high quality render has it stopping.
I'm running CS5.5 on an i7 Win7 with 12 gigs of RAM.
I'm going to continue trying various starting points to see if I can get it to stay within the range (assuming there IS a limited range).
Any theories, info, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your syntax is sloppy. Conditionals' functions belong into sway braces and you need to provide a secondary fallback, if the condition is not met. In your case it simply takes time as the only variable/function and that condition is of course never met. That is also the problem for your subtraction - you are subtracting 20000 seconds, not frames. A code that at least works could look like that, though the actual result is pretty nonsensical and won't solve your issue, since there is no relation to the motion after you have evaluated the conditional:
temp = -2500 + time*300;
if (temp>25000)
{temp = time-framesToTime(20000);}
else
{temp=value[0];}
[temp,0]
Therefore something that is 100% watertight would have to be something like this:
if (time*300 > framesToTime(25000))
{temp = time-framesToTime(20000);}
else
{temp=time;}
out=temp*300;
[out,0]

• What must i do with planned orders for closed item?

Hi alls! My Customer closed some materials, but still there are planned orders for these materials.
I am new in pp. What can I do for delete this orders?
Than'S

Hi Liza,
If it is system generated planned orders i.e. if they are not firmed, then run MRP with planning mode - 3 it will delete all excess planned orders.
But if they are firmed, then you can delete them individually in MD12, or collectively in MD16.
Hope the above answers your query.
If helpful award points

• Interaction enabled on dimensional columns though not marked as Use for display

Hi,
I am facing issue with few of the dimensional columns in OBI 11g. Drill down property is enabled for few columns which are not marked as Use for Display or added to any hierarchy level.
Clicking on these columns is drilling down to the next lower lever. we can avoid this by setting a system wide defaults but not allowed to do that.
Any other suggestions to overcome the issue?
Thanks,
Vj

Any dimensional attribute column residing on a higher level of aggregation will automatically render the drill-down to its next lower-level child.
"Use for display" defines the attribute(s) displayed by default after a drill and is used to populate the property of the (default) displayed presentation column in a presentation hierarchy.
So you are experiencing standard, desired behaviour. Removing that interaction will necessitate setting system-wide defaults.
Cheers

• In sales order for the condition type MWST, **Tax code** is displaying wron

Hi
In sales order for the condition type MWST, *Tax code* is displaying wrongly at header level i.e. FF instead of AO (under account determination tab)
AO tax is 0% but for FF it is 19%
I have checked with the Access sequence it is picking access 08 correctly according to this it should show AO in tax code field for MWST but it is not so..
There is a manual change for tax classification for material master in va02 initially it was blank now it is changed to ' 0 ' is any way influencing....?
Even if I consider material tax classification and customer tax code should not be FF because tax code FF is not maintained for the combination of access sequences for condition type MWST
Please help me.

Dear Rajendra,
There is a manual change for tax classification for material master in va02 initially it was blank now it is changed to ' 0 ' is any way influencing....?
Definitely material Tax classification will influence to determine the Tax code.
-->So Make sure that customer and material master having proper tax classification indicator.
-->Have you Update the price after changing the tax classification in the sales order.by going to item dat -->condition tab then click on Update push button bottom of the conditions screen.
-->Once again the check the condition record maintanence also for your MWST access sequence.
I hope this will help you,

• Order of display in Org chart for ESS

Hello,
Is there any way to change the order of display of org chart based on per.No.
Thanks, Abdul

Hi Abdul,
As name suggest ORG CHART it’s the image of your organization and its maintains certain hierarchy in SAP Standard … for e.g. You will get to see Orgunit  Then SubOrgunit  Head Position/Positions (Multipal)  Person Holding those positions.
If you break this Hierarchy it will be difficult to trace the Employee and Duplication of records will take place …. There are Reports which displays Employee to Position and Orgunit … and the diplay of such report will be in Table and Colum Format .. it wount be in a Tree Format... you may go for Custom Development.
But do Check these report they all are Report based on Object type.
