Is there a way of telling if tables in a schema are not being used?

I've thought about using the AUDIT_TRAIL.
Is there any query that you can run to tell this, without setting this up?

v$segment_statistics is one of the accumulator views that gets reset when the database is bounced. You'll probably want to take snapshots of the view regularly into a separate history table because of that.
Remember that you need to monitor for an appropriate period of time (you may have objects that are used only at month-end, only at year-end, or only for some process that happens on an irregular basis) to ensure that the objects are really and truly unused. Make sure that the business unit agrees as well-- there are plenty of tables that are kept around solely to comply with data retention policies. Dropping one of those tables caan quickly become a career limiting move should there ever be a records request from the legal department.

If you are running MS Windows in Parallels or Fusion or any other virtualization software you can shut it down while the machine is operating and still run OS X. There is no trick, you shut down MS Windows just like you would with any other MS Windows machine. That is one of the main advantages of virtualizaiton software, the ability to run both environments simultaneously if you want. If you don't want to run Windows then simply don't start the virtualizaiton software or if it's already running quit it like you do any app on a Mac.

Is there an easy way to know if a vi within a LLB not being use by a Labview Application

I have developed a Labview application over a year that contains a number of LLBs. There are significant number of VIs within those LLB files that were written but have not been called by the application. I am trying to optimize all LLB files to exclude those unused VIs. Because there are many of them, the task to find out which Vi is being used and which one is not become very tedious. First question: Is there a way to automate the process? Second question: Does a compiled Labview application include all used and unused Vis from the LLBs in the .exe file? I am very appreciate any inputs from this community.

If I do this, however, the songs that are not in my library will be lost. Is there any way, through iTunes, a third-party program, or directory digging to tell if a song is not in your iTunes library?

Select the iPod in iTunes then File > Transfer purchases.
If these are not iTunes purchases, simply restore them to iTunes from the backup of your HD.

Is there a way to access the screen (headless operation) of a machine being used as a Mac OS X (ML) Server?

I'm using ML OS X Server and so far have enabled only FIle Sharing. Is there a way to share a screen with the Mac Mini (server host) while in Server operation? What section(s) need to be enabled to do this? I can access the Server remotely using the Server app, but as yet have not configured the web app to manage the server. Even if I do, this will not allow me to run an app as I could while at the server machine's screen, keyboard and mouse. My goal to operate this machine almost full time headlessly.

Moving the plug-in to protected power for the monitor (even if off) did cure the problem and easier for me too. Checked with screen share (vnc:// connection seems to behave the same). Note the specs of my Mini as below to compare with yours (it's not a new version 'server' model).

I get numerous app update requests that are not applicable to the 1st IPAD. Is there a way to eliminate these notices? Or a way to upload only those that do apply without doing each one individually? Can I somehow delete the updates I don't want to keep reappearing?

No. You just have to be careful not to delete the version of the apps are are only compatble with iPad 1. since yu can't redownload them.

Is there a way to create a table of contents listing the order of tabs(sheets) in a Numbers document?

I am planning my wedding and I have this huge Numbers document with 20+ tabs and I have plans to add many more tabs. Is there a way to create a table that has two columns: column 1= order that a tab appears, column 2=tab name? For example, my first three tabs are called Venues, Must Haves, and To Do List (in this order. I'd want this table of contents to be in the first sheet of the document, so it would be like sheet 1. Then I 'd want like the cells of column 1 to be like 2, 3, 4 (2nd, 3rd, 4th sheet in the document), and then the cells of column 2 to say Venues, Must Haves, and To Do List. I can make a tiny table of one cell in each sheet that I copied the name of the sheet and then do like a cell reference for column 2, but I'm having trouble w column 1.

There is no referential value for the order of the sheets, just the sheet name. Only two things I can think of to suggest:
Do the same thing for the first column that you do with the second (i.e. put a referential column in the same table as the Name and point to that).
Seriously consider using a word processor program. Numbers is probably the wrong tool.

Is there a way to create temporary tables in ABAP?
Here is our scenario:
1. Invoke a custom RFC that creates a temporary table and returns the name of the table.
2. Invoke another custom RFC and pass this table name as parameter. This RFC internally does some INNER JOIN with the temporary table.
3. Invoke the third RFC to delete the temporary table.
Note that the name of the table cannot be static. We have many users using our application simultaneously and connecting to the SAP server.
I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

I just ran into a similar issue. While only calling the select statement 2 times, each time had so many entries in the 'for all entries' list, that the compiler converted this into about 700 calls to the select. Now since the select joined three real tables on the database, the trace shows this one select as being the slowest item in this application.
I think that happened because 'for all entries' gets converted to an 'IN' clause, and then the total number of characters in any SQL statement has an upper limit. So the compiler must make the select statement over and over until it covers all entries in the 'for all entries' list. Is that correct?
Since every database I ever saw has the concept of db temporary tables, I have used db temp tables many times for this sort of thing.
The ABAP compiler could determine that more than one IN statement will be need, then use an alternate: write all the FOR ALL ENTRIES to a db temp table, then join on the db temp table, then drop db temp table. Since the compiler does this sort of thing, no application code needs change to get the speed boost.

Are you referring to @mac.com, @me.com or @icloud.com emails? Or some other email providers emails?
If the former, it should do that automatically. If the latter, no. iCloud does not (nor is it supposed to) sync non-Apple provided emails.

Shot videos ONLY in landscape. For photos choose what's you like. Maybe you have to rotate photos on PC. What's your operating system?

Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store
