Is there a way to make all addon's write only on RAM?
I'm pretty certain Private Browsing only works for vanilla Firefox, and many addons don't keep that in mind.
Is there a firefox setting I can manipulate to make everything RAM only? Something like limiting the amount of data addons can write on disk or something along those lines?

Session cookies are kept in memory AFAIK and never written to disk.
What makes you think that Firefox is saving them to disk?
You can look at the portable Firefox version if you want to minimize writes to the disk that stores your Firefox profile.

I've exported a book file from indesign. Since the pages were in a book-type spread, the odd and even pages have different margins. The odd page has the bigger margin on the left, while the even has the bigger margin on the right. Is there any way to make these identical after the fact. I can't go back and redo the indesign file.

But when I try to reverse the inside outside on one page of the spread, just reverse them, so the dimensions are the SAME, all the text and photos move.

Iphone 4S newly updated to iOS8, keeps popping up window notifying me of things I turned off (cell usage, location, etc) to preserve battery life. Is there any way to make them stop telling me every time I use the affected apps?

I have finally taken the step of updating my iPhone 4S to iOS8 after learning the hard way last update to wait for the bugs to be worked out. I was horrified to find that the battery was being sucked dry in no time at all. After finding a great article posted elsewhere on the apple forums, I went through and turned off all unnecessary options involving the use of cell data, location services and background refreshing. My battery life has thankfully returned to what it was before the update.
HOWEVER, now, every time I open an app for which I turned these things off, the window informing me of that pops up.   I am getting really irritated by this as I made all of these decisions deliberately and am well aware that I may need to go back and change them in order to activate certain capabilities when I want to use them. I had done the same thing with the last iOS, but there were far fewer that needed to be turned off and the battery life seemed to be less affected by those that I left on so it was not the annoyance it has become now.
Is there any way to make the phone stop presenting me with these idiot messages?   TIA

Is there any way to make all the inputComponents readon-only in a page

Hi All,
Is there any way by which we can make all the inputComponents belong to a specific iterator as read-only..?
Depending on some condition I want to make all the editable components which belong to a particular iterator, in page to read-only. I can put an expression in the read-only property of all the inputFields
and make them read-only depending on a condition. But this is going to be difficult as we have a lot of pagefragments and Task-flows.
So I think I can do it programmatically. I can add this method as an method binding in the container jsff. So that it will do the job for all the pages [pages may be inside a region also ].
Can any one give a similar code segment to do this..?
Is this approach going to impact performance badly..?

Is there a way to make all screen text bold (but not necessarily) larger?

My sweetheart can't see font well except for that which is very bold. Chasnging the SIZE of font is too cumbersome for him because it enlarges the entire page and means he has to scroll everywhere to see everything he wants to see. We can't seem to locate an option to just make all of the font on screen go bold, rather than larger...

Only on web pages or also in the user interface?

Is there a way to keep all the music on my ipod when using a new computer

i want to keep all my music but when i go to sync my ipod to my new computer itunes says it will erase all my music. I dont want to lose 600 songs

Try this way:
Make sure your new computer is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

This would depend on the browser plugin installed , if browser does not have reader plugin then pdf will not open in browser.
Not much can be done via Muse , but you can try some settings on pdf like password protected etc.

That would be contrary to the purpose of private browsing, not saving a record of the private browsing session.

Sometimes, I switch between a nightly version of an application and a stable version - this will lead to it asking for every single item in keychain for access anytime I get a new version (especially nightlies).

Outside of zoom, is there a way to make the text under icons larger for elderly use of iPad?

We gave my mom an ipad mini, but the text under the icons is barely readable for the elderly. The accessibility options increase the size of contacts, email, etc, and the zoom gives an option to increase, but that is not user friendly for the elderly - 3 finger tap on/off??? Really???? For a senior with arthritis?
Does anyone know a way to increase the size of the text of the icons on the ipad?

Is there a way to make 3g and not wi-fi the priority for sending text messages to someone using an iOS5 device?

Here's the problem: I am often in a building which has free wifi but the wifi requires that you accept the terms of use during every browsing session. If I receive a text message from someone who is also using iOS5, the phone seems to default to wi-fi to send my response. If I have not yet accepted the terms of use for the building's wi-fi, my phone wont send the text message response. I don't know if that is because the phone is connected to a wifi signal albeit one that can't yet access the internet. For whatever reason, the phone is just trapped in a "sending messge" loop and wont break out of it until I open my browser and accept the terms of use. This is the situation notwithstanding the fact that I have 3g service and the signal is available to send sms/mms.
Can anyone offer a suggestion other than disabling wi-fi?

Thank you for your reply. I looked at my settings and the phone has been set on "send as SMS"--but for some reason, the phone is continuing to try to send it over wifi despite the lack of an internet connection on wifi. It would seem that after a minute or more of trying, the phone would recognize that wifi wasnt available and would send it on SMS but it apparently doesnt. I can, of course, turn off iMessage but I dont like the idea of having to do that everytime---particularly since an increasing number of my contacts are using iOS5 devices.
