Is there a way to query TNSNames.ora info from OEM repository?

My project requires me to generate TNSNames.ora from OEM repository.
Is this possible? Does anyone know how to query this from OEM repository.
I would need HOST, SID and PORT to generate the file in format being asked.

The easiest way is to check the output of below command
OMS_HOME/bin
emctl config oms -list_repos_details
The command works for both 11g and 12c
For EM 11g the output would be like

The reason I wish to do so is because I've been reciving an influx of of people wanting to find people to talk to, and have been sending me friend requests. However, I have no interest of talking to anyone who I have not met, unless it's from either a website I know and use, or have given written permission and my contact details. I do not like random friend requests at all, and I find it suspicious they all identify as female, and I am male. I do not wish to be bothered by such things, and so I ask if there is a way to somehow maybe hide myself from the directory, and if not, maybe such a feature should be added. I know the directory is what you need to search to find anyone, but there should be a more direct way when you have the Skype name. It may make it harder for friends and family to find a person, however, if I really want people added to my Skype, I will give them my info. It was a wonderful feature, however there are those who wish to abuse it, and something must be done, as this problem will not be going away!
So far, I've been blocking the people, but this is the 5th time it's happened in the last 2 weeks, and I'm getting rather concerned that just anyone can find me, and add them in. I use Skype to communicate with my friends and family, not find and talk to complete strangers. I am also concerned that this issue is just the tip of the iceburg, as people younger then 18 can also get a Skype account, and could be extorted by people wishing to harm our youths. I am not trying to be a "white knight", but rather a responsible citizen wanting to help make the community safe for all who are in it. I do not ask for immediate changes, but rather for help as to temporary fixes, and the consideration of features that could help protect people who choose to use them.If you currently have personal data in Thunderbird, the safest thing to do is to use the ImportExportTools add-on. Is there a way to copy and paste info from an attachment on the ipad into a document or note?
I sent myself an email with an attachment to my iPad. I want to copy and paste the info from the attachment so I can have it accessible on the iPad either as a Note or a document. I've been able to copy the info but the Paste does not do anything. Anyone know a better way?
When you tap and hold down on the text selection that you want to copy - are you seeing the Copy Option pop up? if so, tap on the Copy button and it should turn blue when the text has been successfully copied. Then just go into Notes - tap on the + sign to create a new note - tap and hold down on the note page until the Paste option pops up. Then tap Paste and it should paste the text onto the sheet. It works the same way anywhere that you can enter text, a Pages document, a URL field in Safari - any place that you can enter text.
When the copy or paste buttons turn blue - the command has been completed successfully. -

Having purchased the 3Gi phone and being assured it is compatable with TomTom Go 720 I was gutted to find that a great phone does not support Tom Tom traffic inf & Updates. Great Phone, Great Sat Nav,No Compatability. Whats Going On!! My previuos "SIMPLE" little Sony ericsson K510i did the job well, Now what do I Do , Sling the iphone? Apple and TomTom "have" to give us a solution as many others will get caught out owning two good products!!
The iPhone is compatible with many PNDs that support Bluetooth, but only for hands free operation (speaker phone so you don't have to hold the iPhone to drive). That is the only connectivity allowed by bluetooth, and that works with the Tom Tom.
The Tom Tom can not use your wireless network to fetch data via bluetooth (or a wired connection for that matter), because access to the Edge/3G data network by devices attached to the iphone is restricted by ATT.
Currently, the only traffic service available for TomTom devices in the USA utilizes a data connection on a mobile phone to retrieve the traffic information. However that service is difficult to use for many people because there are only a handful of compatible phones and compatible phone data plans from carriers here in the USA. However it appears that is soon about to change as it looks like TomTom will soon unveil a RDS-TMC traffic solution in the USA. So what is the advantage of this type of delivery? Instead of relying on a (sometimes costly) data plan from your phone carrier, this service receives information over radio waves through a special antenna. -

I have two older macs running Mountain Lion that have been upgraded over the years from Leopard. They have continued to be able to print to a Canon IP5000 and use a driver that is fully functional. On the new MacBook Pro, the printer is found, but no driver is available for Mountain Lion from apple or Canon. Is there a way of getting the driver info from the old mac so that it will work on the new one?

Hi ,
I have a CT facing the following problem:
When trying to built a SQL script to create all the object types within a schema using the DBMS_METADATA packages.
Did insert in a table the names of the types that will be exported following a concrete order, next loop into the table and call the DBMS_METADATA package for each row.
These type are depedent between them, there are some type attributes calling other types and here the issue
First : try to generate the order by created column of dba_objects and when the generated SQL script is launched a lot of type appearing as incomplete state due to the order isn't correct.
Second : try to insert the table ordering by object_id colums of dba_tables view, it appears incomplete types too.
Currently want to insert the table using a recursive query with connect by against the dba_type_attrs starting with the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null (the types that are called by other types), but this way has a issue dificult to resolve: the roots of hierarchy are the rows when ATTR_TYPE_NAME is not null and we've dependencies between roots nodes
The question is is there a way to get the correct order from the dependent types of a schema?

DB version: 9.2.0.7

First, as others have already stated.....make sure the checkbox is deselected for "open folders in tabs instead of windows" in Finder Preferences.
If you're like me and don't like tabs very much, there is a way to make folders always open in windows with a simple click (I'm using Mavericks 10.9.5). Go to a root folder (for example, the Documents Folder), open it, and select View > Hide Toolbar, then all folders within that root folder will open in a new window.
As an alternative method, any folder can be opened in a new window by holding down either Command Key while clicking the folder. But sooner or later you will forget to hold down that key, and then clicking on a folder will open in a tab (which will automatically resize the window and cause much aggravation).
The Hide Toolbar trick will also work with any folder present on the Desktop. It will make all folders inside that folder open in new windows.
To make the Applications Folder open in a new window when opening it from the menu bar at the top of the screen, you will have to open the main hard drive folder and use the Hide Toolbar trick. This will cause all folders inside it to open in new windows.

You can't transfer money between accounts. You can, however, gift items by clicking the arrow to the right of the price, which will achieve the same ends. It should work for everything except rentals.

My daughter has an iPod touch using my apple ID, I just purchased an iPhone with the same ID. Is there a way to keep my stuff seperate from her ipod but still share the iTunes account? I was looking through the photo section on my iPhone and found pics my daughter has taken from her iPod. I do not want my pics, emails, etc to show up on her iPod. By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices in itunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book & iCal or Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, DO NOT SYNC at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go. -
Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.gsharp01 wrote:

The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete.
