Is there a way to restrict the cursor at the end of a line in the source code editor??

In the source code editor, the cursor will always follow where I click. But I wanna restrict it at the end of a line, just like other text editors do. Is there a option or sth? I can't put up with it any longer.

Hello morphe!
The source editor in the LabWindows/CVI environment is constructed under the concept of virtual space.
At the moment, in the current version of LabWindows/CVI, this is the default behavior, which cannot be changed from the editor preferences dialogs.

  • Is there a way to hide the source code in an Xcode app?

Whenever I export an Applescript app from Xcode, in the resources folder, there is the unprotected source code. Someone else has changed the source code a bit and has begun distributing my app as his own. Is there anyway to compile or encrypt this code on export?

In your project's build settings there is an OSACompile - Build Options section where you can select the option to Save as Execute-Only.  The run-only script isn't encrypted, but I haven't heard of anyone taking the time to decompile one.  Note that even though the script is no longer easily readable, text strings and variable/method names can still be seen.

  • Is there any way to know the T-code from the screen?

    Hi friemds,
it s a general question. but I found relavant for posting here.
I saw our group friens giving some T-codes for spro functions (eg: SNRO, M/06), bbut how to know the transaction from path. i.e. If I go to condition types screen, there I could not see any transaction. is there any way to know the T-code from the screen?

    Hi,
Listed here are the various ways you can find the list of transaction codes and their usage:
Use transaction SE11 - ABAP Dictionary:
Fill in the Database table name and click the Display button.
    - TSTC   table will contain all the Tcodes and
    - TSTCT table will contain all the Tcodes with Texts.
Once you entered the screen, click in Top Menu - Utilities - Table contents - Display
If you want to display all the transaction code (total - 57,048) you have to change the Fields: Maximum number of hits to 99999 (default 500).
    or
Simply goto transaction SM01, although this tcode is to Lock/Unlock any transaction code, you can also view all the tcode available in the R/3 system from here.
    or
    Goto transaction SE93
There are two ways where you can find the list of transaction codes in SE93.
    Method 1:
You must be familiar with the starting characters strings for each of the R/3 application modules.
Assuming you know that most Materials Management transaction codes start with MM.
In the Fields: Transaction code, type in MM* and press the function key F4
The list of transaction code starting with MM will be displayed.
    Method 2:
On the Top Menu, click Utilities - Find - Execute and the first 500 transaction will be display.
If want to display all the tcodes, make sure you remembered to change the Fields: Maximum no. of hits right at the bottom of the screen.
I know a particular T Code and can enter and work on it.  How do I know what is the menu path for that T Code?
Enter Search_SAP_Menu in the command box and when the pop box appears enter, the Tcode and it will give the nodes and menu path.
This is helpful only in case of SAP Menu not in case of SPRO - ie IMG.....
    Reward if Helpful,

  • Is there a way to restrict the network access of an application?

Is there a way to restict the network access of an application? In other words, is there a way to guarantee that an application will only operate in offline mode?

Well, more than just knowing if an application will work in offline mode, I'm interested in whether there's a way to forcibly the revoke network access of an application. For example, I don't think something like an epub reader should have network access and I want to insure it does not communicate to an external server.

  • Is there a way to automate the tax code assignation on non PO documents lik

I'm looking for a way to automate the tax code assignation on purchases, I'm aware of the condition techniques for POs, but I would like to understand if it can be also applied to the other document in purchases so we can have a totally automate process on tax code assignation.
Documents like: Contracts, Info records, RFQ, Scheduling agreements, Outline Agremments

What you need to do is to create condition tables & access sequences for condition type NAVS for purchasing documents like RFQ, Contract & Scheduling agreement. You can use the document types and document category to differentiate these. Obviously this is required only if your tax determination scenario is different between different document type, if the tax code to be determined is not linked to purchasing document type, then you only one access sequence which can have parameteris like PORG, vendor if required etc. which are common to all document types.
Once this configuration is done, then you need to maintain condition records using transaction MEK1 and maintain the tax codes as per the combination of parameters.
In case of Info-record, it is different as it is a master data and this automatic tax determination will not work there.

Is there any possible fix for the slow code completion within the editor? I've googled this issue and haven't found much of anything relevant.

  • Is there a way to restrict the number of attempts for a remediated question using advanced actions?

I have the following slides in my project:
    content slide 1
    content slide 2
    question slide 1
    question slide 2
Question slide 1 is a question about content slide 1. Question slide 2 is a question about content slide 2. I would like to restrict the total number of attempts to two for each question. If question 1 is answered incorrectly on the first attempt, the learner would be returned to content slide 1 for review. Clicking the next button will take the learner back to the missed quiz question and allow them a second attempt to answer it correctly. If they answer it incorrectly again, it is scored as incorrect and the learner is taken to question slide 2.
Can this be done or does remediation keep repeating until the learner answers the question correctly?
If that is the case, can I achieve my objective by using advanced actions? And, if so, can you provide step by step instructions on how to do this?

I think it could be possible, but giving you step-by-step instructions, sorry, that would take a lot of time. Did you use advanced actions already? My archived blog has a lot of use cases and tutorials, but I think it is not fair to ask on a forum for step-by-step instructions for each use case you want to create.  The most important thing will be to make sure that the user always remains in the Quiz scope, you can use the new system variable cpInQuizScope while testing. There is no system variable for attempts on question level, only one on Quiz level, so you'll have to create a user variable to track the attempts on question level. A big problem is that when you leave a question slide, without using the remediation work flow, the attempts are considered as finished. Personally I would prefer for that reason to not use the default question slides. You could try out a combination of remediation and advanced actions, never did test that?

  • Is there a way to restrict the blanket release qty or amount to agreed amt

    Hi,
We have a requirement to restrict the blanket release qty or amt of the item to the amount that is agreed on the blanket Purchase Order line. Is there a setup at supplier or in purchasing that dictates this
    Thanks,
    user12048986

    Hello,
I've made a few "forms perso" and I think you can deal with this case, depending of course of the business rules you want to apply.
If you want to apply the field "COMMITTED_AMOUNT" as a global limit for all your release you can test the following :
All your code will be done in "Not in Enter-Query Mode"
1/ Create some variables on the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE event : this committed amount, and also the amount already consumed,
2/ Initialize the variables on the WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE event, on the PO_SHIPMENTS.SOURCE_LINE_NUM object,
condition will be :PO_RELEASES.PO_Release_Id IS NOT NULL
3/ On the WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD event of the PO_SHIPMENTS object, you will update your variables depending of the item on the current line by some SQL statement, using the variable.VALUE = (your SQL),
condition will be :PO_RELEASES.PO_Release_Id IS NOT NULL AND :SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS IN ('CHANGED', 'INSERT', 'NEW')
4/ Still on the WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD event of the PO_SHIPMENTS object, you should in your condition compare the amount already ordered (including your current shipment line) to your limit, then in the action display a message to warn the user.
On this step I use also a variable XX_NB_MSG_DISP because as the WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD is trigerred several time during the validation, you will display the message several times :°/
Then condition will looks like something like this :
    :PO_RELEASES.PO_Release_Id IS NOT NULL
AND :SYSTEM.RECORD_STATUS IN ('CHANGED', 'INSERT', 'NEW')
    AND :GLOBAL.XX_NB_MSG_DISP = '0'
    AND ((:GLOBAL.XX_ORDERED_AMOUNT > :GLOBAL.COMMITTED_AMOUNT)
At this point the message is only a warning, but it is already a little piece of code, tell me if you succeed in doing something with those explanations. Honestly I do not have time to do any tests about this...
You can also use the PO_APPROVE event to do a global control, but this is less user-friendly.
    Hope it helps,
    Take care,
    Xavier

  • Is there a way to hide the source of a page?

I would like to know if there's a way hide the source of a page.
In the near future I would like to sell access to a CF app to resellers, so that they can sell my app as their own service. I'm looking for a reasonable solutions to hide where the page is coming from. Not for my sake but to give my resellers some privacy.
    the way I do it now is:: <iframe id="myFrame"   frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" src='http://mysite.com/applications/main.cfm/?id=14' width="100%" height="100%"/>  this offers no privacy.
a nice example of what i would like to do is this web site:
    service provider -> http://mailinglistorders.com/index1.cfm
    customer -> http://www.wizcounts.com/index1.cfm
Any ideas, suggestions, pointers would be greatly apreciated!!
    Thanks!

thanks for your input, that is a solution, but I would prefer to find a simpler to implement solution, something that if possible could be automated. It doesn't have to be unbreakable, as there is no sensitive data being sent, it's only a customer id and some parameters. Is there a way maybe to encrypt the URL at the clients side and decrypt it at the server side (maybe I'm showing my ignorance )
I'm just trying to avoid being obvious.
    Thanks again!!!

  • Is there a way to display the time-code of all tracks?

I bumped some audio out of sync.  Is there a way to display all my audio and video time-codes simultaneously, so that I can see if my tracks are out of sync, and by how much?

You could link video and audio tracks in the timeline
that you want to stay in sync with each other.
Link or unlink video and audio
Once video and audio clips are linked in the timeline, you can
view the offset in frames if you happen to accidentally slip the sync.
There are a couple of automatic methods for recovering lost sync in
    linked clips.
Automatically synchronize clips that were moved out of sync

  • Is there a way to edit the html code of the page directly on iweb?

My web server gives me the error: Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, everytime I try to access my site after I've updated it with the FTP server.  I leanred that it was because of a bit of extraneous code in the beginning of each page that my web server just doesn't seem to like.  I can go back through once it is updated and delete the code on the web server but it is a big pain to do this each time I update my website, and I would still like to be able to utilize FTP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, you cannot edit the HTML code in iWeb. The webpages are created when you choose publish.
The parse error is caused by a misconfigured server. Here's how to solve it :
         The PHP parse error
If you cannot change it, ask your webhoster to do it for you. It's not a iWeb issue.

  • Is there a way to restrict the ports used by Toplink for making jdbc

connections? For example we want to restrict Toplink from using ports below 5000
This is when Toplink makes an outward connection to an oracle server
    ** Urgent **
    Please help

When using JDBC you give the port in your JDBC URL, i.e.
    jdbc:oracle:thin:@myserver:1521:orcl
Or do you mean a different port? Maybe check your JDBC driver documentation or forum.

  • The "Far Far Away" title is displaying a white box rather than the entered text.  Is there any way to restore the title code so that it works properly?

The "Far Far Away" title (which I have used quite frequently) has stoped working and just displays a white box where the text should be displayed.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or have a suggestion as to a resolution.  This is in IMovie '11 Version 9.0.8.

    Thanks for the reply Russ.
Yes, I've considered adding titles and/or generators in the FCPX storyline, but this creates a need to render the entire timeline. As I'm juggling library locations and hard drive spaces I just didn't want to add a new render that will occupy a lot of space. It's also a bit of visual clultter for me, so my goal is to find the best workflow for adding this stuff on or after export.
