Is there a way to take export dump with only selected objects

Hi,
I want to take a partial export dump containing only few objects of a particular schema in Oracle 10g DB.
I am trying to use "exp" utility for this.
The parfile used for this is as follows:
FILE=CSG_Objects.dmp
FULL=n
ROWS=y
COMPRESS=y
INDEXES=y
TRIGGERS=y
CONSTRAINTS=y
LOG=export_CSG_Objects.log
TABLES=table1,table2,table3...
With this I can only export tables but not other objects like views, procedures, sequences etc.
If I try to use other object name in TABLES list, I get errors.
Is there any way I could export other "selected" objects also?

There are 4 modes in exp and expdp. You can specify
full=y which will get all objects in the database
schemas = list which will get alll of the objects in these schemas
tables = list which get all of the tables in your list plus all of the objects dependent
on these tables
tablespaces=list which finds all fo the tables in those tablespaces and then does a table mode
export for the table list, including dependent objects.
Other than excluding/included a few objects, original exp does not have a way to specifically include certain objects. This was one of the enhancements to datapump expdp/impdp.
If you are running 10.1 or later, you can use datapump export/import. Now, you can do a table mode export and put in an include/exclude list.
include=tables,grants,table_statistics
or
exclude grants, index_statistics
If you let us know what you are trying to include or exclude, it would be easier to come up with a solution.

If you have more than 1 mac on a local network there... you can access firewire drives attached to other Macs if they are first set up to "allow windows guests" under system preferences>SharePoints. Windows 7 conveniently sees these "other macs" and their windows-friendly drives in windows Network view. My FW drives are easy to read and write too even though the are formatted Extended (Journaled).
I'm not sure if there is any downside to this method... such as long file paths becoming broken down the road in back up situations. I have used these Mac drives in a network setting for awhile without consequence.

You can't "accidentally" put a passcode on any iPhone...its a multi-step process. Further, restoring an iPhone will remove the passcode, as the passcode is not included in an iPhone backup.
Are you sure you're talking about the phone passcode & not something else...like the "Restrictions" passcode?

Unfortunately not.
If you are able to contact the owner of the Apple ID, ask them to follow these steps to remove the device from their account:
Sign in to their iCloud account at www.icloud.com/find.
Select the device from their Find My iPhone device list by clicking All Devices at the top of the screen.
Erase the device by clicking the Erase button. This will erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, do not enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device has been erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.

Is there a way to use PM4.0 with Windows XPH without purchasing the latest suite or upgrades? I origionally purchased a suite with Pagemaker, Photostyler and Freehand just before Aldus went Adobe, and Win3.1 went Win95, then WinME and WinXP. I miss PM and have several manyscripts saved on PM4.0 and can not export or import them to any current wordprocessing programs. I was very far into one manuscript and am now in a position to finish it up but don't want to have to purchase a whole suite in order to do so. Any suggestions for this old tightwad? I think I have a WinME PC in the garage, which if you can re-format with DOS 5 and install Win3 instead (I may have the disks in the garage too), PM4 will positively scream along.
I reckon it's non starter on a modern WinXP PC, as the OS is so different, but if you're willing to experiment, you never know!
But if you want to open some old files to extract the text, you can open the PM4 files and save them with a d/l'ed trial copy of PM7, which will be OK on WinXP

Just delete the same songs from your library in iTunes. Select the first song, hold the shift key, select the last song (which will select everything in between) and press delete.

This may be a question for Apple because it is a uniquely Apple Finder problem.
Or maybe some clever 3rd party Apple developer will take this on - because this is an Apple Finder problem (hint).
Is there a way to shorten the "Open With" list that appears when I right-click on a file?
Heres why this is important to me.
1- I'm seeing multiple versions of the same app on the list, like Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS5.1, Photoshop CS 5.5. I can't think of any reason why I would ever want to use an older version of Photoshop. And it's not only Photoshop or even Adobe products.
2- I see incorrect apps being suggested. If I right click on an Illustrator file I see that TextEdit is one of the choices. I get Photoshop as an option to open HTML files. I see BBEdit as an option to open JPEG files. These are bizarre associations. Why are they even on the list?
3- With so many irrelevant choices the possibility of selecting the wrong application increases and doing so is a waste of time and resources. Once I accidentally selected a text editor to open a JPEG. After about 3 minutes of RAM-sucking processing I got a huge file of jibberish text characters that was thousands of lines long. Waste of time!
I KNOW I'm not the only one with this question.
Is there anyone out there with an answer???

I did as you instructed and the situation is better but I don't believe it's solved.
I still get 3 versions of Photoshop when I right click on a PSD. I also get Dashcode and Textwrangler - which are the oddest associations. All together I get 25 apps responding to "Open With" on a PSD. And this is an improvement.
Do you think I would get even better results if I ran the same command again?

Nope. I've been suggesting that for years as a better interface for both "lasso" selections and cutting paths.
If Illustrator's Javascript model provided a function for path intersection and "collision", (similar to FlashScript's ability to detect path collisions) scripting such a solution would probably be trivial. But there is no such function provided.
Such a function could be leveraged for other features, too. For example, imagine integrating it with Symbols. You're drawing a map. You have a Symbol of a tree. You draw a path in the shape of the forest, and issue a command to randomly position any desired number of Instances of the Symbol.within the path. (Compare the speed and ease of that to the tedious and difficult-to-control Symbolism tools.)
You can do cumbersome workarounds, but so far, any I've come up with proove too sluggish. For example, you could semi-automate this with a combination of Script and Actions:
1. Draw a path.
2. Fill it with a Pattern Swatch (or Create Object Mosaic)
3. Expand the fill (or Ungroup the Object Mosaic)
4. Replace the resulting Groups (or Object Mosiac paths) with Instances of a Symbol.
5. Use the Random setting of Transform Each to somewhat "randomize" the placements.
But even that does not guarantee intersection with the original path.
I have used similar routines to script the creation of pseudo halftones and diffusion dithers. But for much detail the scripts are very slow.

That is too bad I can not schedule my action Wizard to run via Windows scheduler... The funney things about is that on the same machine that I have created the Action Wizard and saved to to my desktop via export, when I click on it to run it asks me you want to Import that action to your Acrobat Pro X? Okay or Cancel... That Action is already there in my action Wizard List and I have exported from this same machine and I was trying to see if I can schedule it via this command:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat <C:\Users\Bahram\Desktop\OCRFaxedPDFs.sequ

The best solution I've come across so far is to dump all movies into a shareware app called iVI. It'll show whether each movie has subtitles or not.

Hi Jatin,
Yes, of course you can upload multiple files for tariff codes.
This can be done by the below path:-
SAP GTS Cockpit(tcode-/sapsll/menu_legal)-->Customs Management-->Classification-->Classification Master Data-->Upload Tariff Code Numbers from XML file(tocde- /SAPSLL/LLNS_UPL101).
In the above area after browsing and choosing the first file, please select multiple check box to choose more files as well. Then you can further select your application server and upload all those files in one go.
PS:- Although, we have an option to upload multiple such files but actually we should avoid multiple file uploads due to various reasons. Hence, please take utmost care during such procedure.

the old apps are on my computer but they have had upgrades since they were put on the ipod originally. you think you would get a warning about this when you restored. I was not worried about losing the progress of the apps but i would have been worried about the app it self!!!!!
