If you said you have Find My iPhone installed, you can access that from any internet connection. Just log in at http://www.icloud.com and go to the app.
Apple won't help you directly.
But do call your local authorities.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $149. They do not fix yours. I would say not worth it.

If they are on the case then removing the scratches would also remove the coloring. I would get a case and hide them if the scratches are on the case. -

Look to the app developer to provide that information when browsing the iTunes Store.
The iPod Touch still works, so what's your problem with it? It still works with older apps, it still does what it's intended to do.
If you aren't happy then sell it and buy a new one. -
The latest iTunes software wiped out my apps for my 2G iPod Touch by overwriting newer releases of the apps which are not compatible with iOS 4.2.1. I tried to restore the iPod to an earlier version without success. Is there any way to download older versions of my apps which are compatible with my older iPod?
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Without the Find My iPhone function enabled on your device, the only possible way would be to:
1. Report the theft to local law enforcement. Provide them with the serial number/IMEI or MEID number.
2. Try to manually locate the device by calling it, and hope that someone answers, and that they are an honest person.
That's about it. With all due respect, if this is the THIRD time it has happened to you, then why in the world did you NOT activate Find My iPhone?? -

Trying to consolidate all media files (mp3, m4a) into one folder for iTuned. Each time to try to move files I end up with duplicates and copies. If I could see the path (folder) in finder I could only move groups. searching for all mp3 file finds all on the iMac regardless of location. I don't want to them one by one having checked the Get Info display.
Any help, suggestions appreciated.This puts the path in the title bar.

I'm a avid gamer and for my gaming needs most of the games that I love require Windows ,but due to my constant clicking I drain my mouse battery very fast so I always have backups. Is there anyway I can check how much mouse battery I have left so I can be sure before I start a gaming session that I'll be fine? Switching back and forth between partions is an option ,but I find it as more of a last resort then something to do normally.

Hi I have an Iphone 4 new as of a month and alot of my friends have the regular IP3 and I was wondering if there was a way around so they can use Tango for video calling. Also I bring my phone in with me into a lying suntan bed for 20 minutes at a time. Can this harm my phone? Thanks.
Since the 3G and 3GS don't include a front facing camera, there isn't much point in using either one for a video call.
Don't know about the tanning bed doing any damage - much more irreversible damage is being done to your skin. You can always purchase another iPhone. Don't you have to open the tanning bed to access the iPhone? If so, might as well leave it out. -

Is there anyway to keep our old mail, calendar, and phone format and yet use IOS7? I find the new system so plain that it is difficult to see. I keep missing new emails because the little numbers are so small they barely show up and the plain white screens are so bright they are hard to look at. I would just go back but I really like some of the new features.

The new user interface for iOS7 is just dreadful. I turned down the brightness but the lack of shading or delineation between UI elements makes it difficult to read.
It feels like they're chasing Android. -

I lost my I phone but did not have Icloud on it or the find my I phone App...Is there any way to locate the phone without these apps? One would think if location services are on the phone it could be found by GPS from verizon? Any suggestions?
The only way to track is from Find my iPhone. Sorry. All Verizon can do is possibly block it by IMEI so others cannot use it.

I'd keep and eye on your multitask bar. This tells me what apps I use and often forget I've been in that day.

The SN will only help identify the iPod as yours if it is recovered.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing
