ISE logs are not very explicit

Hello,
I 've a very hard time trying to debug some rejected connexions due to a lack of information within the logs.
I'd like to know where to look to find out the condition or sub-conditon in an AuthZ policy that lead to a failed connexion.
Best regards.
V.

I agree with Tarik, you will have to clarify a bit more on what you are experiencing/looking for. Logs in ISE are amazing..try working with ACS 4.x Almost everything can be found under "Operations > Authentication" From there you can hit the "Magnifying Glass" under details and gather more detailed information.
Thank you for rating!

After  install Windows 10, the texts in Skype are not very neat, with low definition. This has happend just with Skype. Do you know how I can fix it?

I HAVE FOUND A FIX! Searching through the support blogs paid off in a big way. A minor registry edit is all it took and my drive is working like new! Here's the fix. My system is Windows 10 64-bit.  Resolution 5: Create a registry subkey
Note To use this method, you must be logged on to Windows as an administrator. If you need help verifying that you are an administrator, go tohttp://support.microsoft.com/gp/admin
Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
To create the registry subkey, follow these steps:
Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run box. (or right-click on windows icon in lower left corner)
Type regedit in the Run box, then press Enter. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow
In the navigation pane, locate the following registry subkey:
        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi
Right-click atapi, point to New, then click Key.
Type Controller0, and then press Enter.
Right-click Controller0, point to New, and then click DWORD(32-bit) Value .
Type EnumDevice1, and then press Enter.
        Right-click EnumDevice1, click Modify....
Type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
        Exit Registry Editor.

  • I have 111 files to send. Why only 50 files. You are not very smart to do it this way.

I have 111 files to send Why only 50 files. You are not very smart to do it this way.

    Hi,
If you want to send more than 50 files, you can zip them up into a single file and send them that way. (Note that zip files aren't previewable by the recipient. They need to be downloaded.)
You might want to check the thread: Re: Is there any way around the limit of 50 files in Adobe Send?
The feedback has been sent to the engineering team to consider.

  • S660 call logs are not sorted.

I have a S660 smartphone and the call logs are not sorted based on time. It is randomly logged and its difficult to see the call history. Any fix for this?
    ~Senthil
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I got some alternative solutions..
    1. download "Contact plus" app from google play free. This app is fantastic. phonebook, call log and messages contain in this pack. 3-in-one.. start using this app and make it default. it has its own dialer too... so do not have to worry about anything lenovo provided..
    2. for those facing "menu" Switch not there issue: kindly download "KK Launcher" by google kitkat team from google play store.. this is the most beautiful launcher and u can forget the lenevo launcher--stupid bastards.. Make this launcher default too.
Remember one thing: do not delete or force stop or dissable the lenevo launcher or other apps by lenovo. just let it be there..do not use that.. thats it..
the above two apps solved 99% of my problems..
    bbye...

    A few notes :
Troubleshooting Tips For Dataguard Switchover (9i and 10gR1) [ID 298986.1]
Although it is about Switchover, it does mandate a password file exclusive. If the switchover requires the password file, shouldn't ARCH shipping require it ?
Step By Step Guide To Create Physical Standby Database Using RMAN [ID 469493.1]
also covers 9i with specific mentions of 9i differences from 10g. Passwordfile is not mentioned as different in 9i from 10g.
    Data Guard 9i - Net8 Configuration for a 2-node database environment. [ID 175122.1
has log_archive_dest_2='SERVICE=NODE2STDBY.ACME.COM'    so it connects to the service
*However* the document "Introduction to Oracle 9i Data Guard Manager" from
Data Guard 9i Introduction to Data Guard Manager GUI [ID 150217.1]
page 59 has this : "The creation process will attempt to create a remote login password file for the standby database to
enable remote connections to the database. (Note: A remote login password file is not necessary for
Data Guard operation; it is only needed to allow remote connections to the database from clients,
such as other Enterprise Manager tools.)"
Similarly the section "3.2.6 Set Initialization Parameters on a Physical Standby Database"
in the 9i DataGuard manual at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96653/create_ps.htm#62941
    only has
    remote_archive_enable=TRUE
    (this is an instance parameter)
Similarly the section "5.8.2.1 Primary Database Initialization Parameters"
    at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96653/log_transport.htm#1067609
    explains
The last parameter, REMOTE_ARCHIVE_ENABLE=SEND, allows the primary database to send redo data to the standby database, but prevents the primary database from receiving redo data from another system.
    with REMOTE_ARCHIVE_ENABLE=RECEIVE on the Standby
to Receive and archive the incoming redo data from the primary database, but only while the database is running in the standby role
So, I guess that REMOTE_ARCHIVE_ENABLE is the important one. Not REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE.
    In 9i : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96536/ch1174.htm#1023087
In 10g it is deprecated : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/initparams176.htm#sthref541 so that LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG is used.
(and no longer appears in the 11.2 Reference)

  • FF Logs are not sent to the controllers

    Hello SAP Gurus,
We have implemented GRC 10 on SP10, have configured EAM, and the Firefighter logs are populating afte running GRAC_EAM_LOG_SYNC_UPDATE, the notification is sent immediately to the FF owner after the FF ID login, but to trigger the workflow to populate Log reports after executing GRAC_EAM_WORKFLOW_SYNC, the email are not going to the  controller, have checked the workflow notiifcation settings, its configured, and the parameters are set to "YES".
The sync job executes only for a second and gives the message as workflow sync is completed, but the email are not sent out.
It was working fine few days ago, but now the job runs only for a sec.
Any help or suggestion would be helpful regarding this?

    Hi Alessandro,
    Thanks for replying.
The concern is the Workflow ysn was working fine few days ago, where the emails was sent out to the controlers and now seems to be broken, am i missing something on the configuration?
The MSMP for the Firefighter log report is active and generated.

The problem is dat for 5 weeks back we have kept back ground scheduling dat this chain needs to get run for every week.. So for the first week it runned successfully and for the second and third and fourth week also itz runned successfully..
But on the fifth week we got the process chained failed for some errors in Process chain.. We analyzed the errors and But yet to be rectified.. So for 6th week it needz to get runned.. But when am going to check the logs of dat process chain..
It was not showing any logs on the chains which have runned successfully for the past 4 weeks also, which have runned successfully... And I tried it in logs with givng today and yesterday and One week and This month and last month and tried it with free date also... BUt am not able 2 see the logs..
Can anyone help me out from this issue..
    <i><b>Thanks & regards

Have you tried adding the chain to the RSPCM transaction?
If the chain has run you should be able to see the logs there by selecting the date.

  • My Logs are not appearing -

Hi I am using Iplanet 6 version and deployed a web application.
That web application uses another server called method server to execute method server java classes.
There is log4j.properties file which is creating a log file and writing debug messages from the java classes that are running in method server. But it is not writing the debug messages that are running in Iplanet servlet engine. I added commons-logging.jar and log4j.jar files in Iplanet's class path also. You help is highly appreciated..

Are you getting any error message while writing logs?..
Try to print some statement before and after you write debug statement to the logs and make sure you are successfully executing the log writing statement.
