ISR ADOBE - Unable to display standard text

Hi,
I have a scenario to display standard text in ISR(Internal Service Request) Adobe through webdynpro abap(Manual Correspondence PSCD - TRM application). When I tested the Adobe form in SFP txn directly, I could see the standard text, but when I test through webdynpro abap, it is not displaying standard text.
Has anybody got some idea if this is the problem with ISR or something to be done?
PS: I tried to display today's date through global variable defined in adobe interface, it gets displayed in SFP, but not in webdynpro(i.e.using ISR).

Hi Amara,
Please recheck whether you have done the "Compare Form fields".
Also, if you have made some changes to the form, then you should regenerate the form and again do "Compare Form fields".
Dont do "Compare Form fields" while saving and activating the Form even when prompted as it may give inconsistencies.
Also, as a cross-check try to create an independant Webdynpro application and call this Form(or only that particular standard text) in that application instead of calling in ISR. This way you can validate if the problem is with ISR.

Hi Kiran,
As you stated its correct that the deletion indicator has to be set only after the document is closed. But your case is different, how did that deletion indicator got set for that "Purchase Requisitions".
As per my knowledge is that the deletion flag ca be changed, but not the deletion indicator. In case if I get soem thing I will respond to you.
Also I got this from SAP:
Set the indicator if you wish to archive documents using the one-step procedure.
Do not set the indicator if you wish to carry out your archiving using the two-step procedure.

Display Standard Text in ALV

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement where the user wants me to display the standard text in SO10 using ALV.
The text must be displayed exactly like how the user maintaned in SO10.
What is the best way? The user do not want the solution to have a button in the text field, and pop up screen in alv to display the text.

The problem not related to the data retrieval.
Its about how to display the text in ALV. I dont wantto display the text in single line in alv coz it gonna be very long and will no longer in original format.

hi all
please any one tell me how one can display full text on selection screen because whatevery i have defined in text for selection screen variable is not displaying full text, some letters are missing.
for example :
Poste(s) du document de facturation
above text i want to display on selection screen.
but only Poste(s) du document de factur
is displying. some letters are missing

Effect
Generates a comment on the selection screen. For the name name , there are two options:
name takes the form TEXT-xxx where xxx is a three-character name for a text symbol. In this case, the contents of the text symbol are displayed at runtime, i.e. the text cannot be changed dynamically. name is another eight-character name. Here, you create a field with the name name in the length specified in the format fmt< /> and it is then generated as an output field on the selection screen. The contents of these comments must therefore be set at runtime (e.g. at INITIALIZATION or - in the case of comments in the database include program DBldbSEL - in the routine INIT of the database program SAPDBldb . They can also be changed when the selection screen is being processed.
Note
The field name is generated automatically and so cannot be defined with DATA .
With comments, you must always specify a format fmt (see variant ULINE ).
Note
You must program a new line yourself via the format fmt .

SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 10(20) TEXT-001

How to display standard text element of main window in next page

hi all
In scripts we have standard script medruck for purchase order.
i want to pull text elements ( terms and payment terms ) in to main window of next page.
i have included main window in page windows of next page ,but im unable to print text elements of terms and payment terms in next page...
any one give your valuable inputs.

Hi deepika,
First copy standard MEDRUCK to ZMEDRUCK and do the necessary changes.
Then check in driver program when exactly Terma and condition text element is called. Generaly its after printing all items but just check once to confirm.
If TERMS and condition element is called ate end just put a NEW-PAGE command at end of the text element which is called before terms.

Unable to Display Long Texts for af:selectOneChoice in ADF

I have a view object FrequencySchedulesType as follows:-
select 'Daily' value, 'Daily' description
from dual
union all
select 'Weekly' value, 'Weekly' description
from dual
union all
select 'Monthly' value, 'Monthly' description
from dual
union all
select 'Manual' value, 'Manual' description
from dual
union all
select 'ManualUIScope' value, 'ManualUIScope' description
from dual
But whenever I am using this ViewObject for <af:selectOneChoice> in my page, the value for "ManualUIScope" is truncated and shown as shown as "ManualU".
I checked with the Business Components Browser where the viewobject FrequencySchedulesType also shows the value is truncated and shows as *"ManualU".*
Can anyone please suggest why this is happening??

Hi,
this look like the attribute definition for the description field is too short.
In you VO go to the attribute section and verify that the SQL Type for the query column is long enough (at least 13).
If thats the case i guess you have the varchar2 data type defined as byte in the DB and using Unicode in JDEV. Since Unicode needs 2 bytes per char you end up seeing only part of the data. It's truncated when you insert it to the DB.
Quick check is to increase the VARCHAR2(13) to VARCHAR(30).

Standard text having '&ULINE&' not printed in adobe form????

I have a standard text in so10 which is to be used in my adobe form .
The standard text uses '&ULINE&' to print a line . This when used by script was interpreted and a line is being printed.
But when the same standard text is inluded in the adobe form , it throws a runtime
error saying that " Field '&ULINE&' does not exist".
Could some one help me out how to get this standard text printed in adobe form.

Displaying bottom text of main window in box?

Hi all ,
I am working with a sap script, where i need to display standard text in box at end of the main window.
The problem is i am unable to set the dynamic position of the box at bottom of the main window .
please help me to fix this problem?

But here my requirement is the text should be displayed immediately after the data in main window is printed . If i used the bottom window , then it will display exactly in that position despite of the main window data.
So Is there any way to display text in box dynamically, after main window data is completed?

You can create standard texts using the transaction SO10. Then to insert these standard texts in the SAPScript choose the menu, Insert->Text->Standard and choose the standard text that you want to choose.
Alternatively, you can display standard texts in your SAP Scripts using the command:
INCLUDE ZSTEXT OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
where ZSTEXT refers to the Standard Text name.

How to print a standard text of 3 pages in the script output?

Hi all,
I want to print a standard text as an include in the script output.
But the standrad text is of 3 pages conataining continuous (some terms and condtitions) text.
But while executing driver program, I am getting a STOP messgae pop-up saying 'Output is continuous or contains too many pages (>4)'.
How to get the standard text of 3 pages in the output. The standard text is to be printed at the bottom of the output.

Hi ,
To display standard texts you have to create a include in your script below is the syntax for that:
INCLUDE name OBJECT name ID name PARAGRAPH name LANGUAGE   name
Include command is used to include standard text in a form.the text
should be already defined by using transaction SO10.
Here name is the name of text
ID is used to classify text e.g. SDVD (SD related text) , ST (Standard text)
OBJECT is used to specify type of object it an be TEXT , DOKU
LANGUAGE is used to specify language like EN ,if ommited than logon
language is used
PARAGRAPH is used to specify the paragraph like C
e.g. /:INCLUDE mytext OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
         Here the standard text created in SO10 with name mytext is
         included in the form in language EN (English)

Standard Text not starting on current page in sap script

Hi all,
       I have a sapscript which displays a dynamic table. After that table I have included the standard text.
Ideally this standard text should display immediately after the table. But this is not happening. After the table, entrire page is left blank, and standard text starts from the next page.
How can i display standard text immediately after the table.

    Try with calling PROTECT and ENDPROTECT using function module CONTROL_FORM in driver program.
CALL FUNCTION 'CONTROL_FORM'
          EXPORTING
            command = 'PROTECT'.
        PERFORM item_dynamic_table.
        PERFORM item_standard_text.
        CALL FUNCTION 'CONTROL_FORM'
          EXPORTING
            command = 'ENDPROTECT'.
Call the TEXT elements in corresponding performs.

Hi,
For displaying standard text dynamically, just follow the following steps:
1. Create a text element and in general attributes give type as Include Text.
2. Instead of providing any static Standard text in Text Name field, you need to click on the arrow button pointing right, which is for Dynamic Field Value. There you can provide your variable as &VARIABLE&, which contains the standard text name based on the conditions.
3. Pass value statically like Text Object-TEXT, Text ID - ST , Language - EN or else you can passs them dynamically as per your requirement.
As you will be passing variables in order to print dynamic standard texts, it is better to check the option "No error if no text exists".

How to display the Standard Text (SO10) based on condition in adobe forms

I have created the Standard texts (through SO10 tr.code) of 4 plant addresses. In the Layout of adobe form, i want to display any one plant address based on the plant number (as a input) and the rest 3 standard text need to be hide. i tried in Form clac to hide, but i unable to succeed. could you please help me, in this regard.

Hi,
You can add all the 4 text in your context menu and create an condition for text.
Example: (LS_HEADER is a structure only for example, you need to decide based on your own form interface)
Text_1000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 1000
Text_2000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 2000
Text_3000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 3000
Text_4000                                Condition -> LS_HEADER-WERKS = 4000
The text satisfyling your condition will only be printed and you can assign these text to the same block in PDF form.

On the form you would display it with a table of 1 column 1 row with repeat row ticked.
Have the like below code on the fomr ready event of your table.
for(var i =0; i<this.Row1.nodes.length;i++)
     if(i == 1){
     this.Row1.Cell1.font.fill.color.value = "255,0,0";
     this.Row1.xx.font.fill.color.value = "255,0,0";
Note: in my example I had a table with one row names Row1 and 2 fields cell1 type textbox, & xx as text / label.
If its like you have it in a text box with multiple entries, we need to spli the value such that 1st row is displayed in a text box whose parameters are by defeult set to font red, and rest of them to this text area.
If your procedure is table the code sud work, else let me know how you get data and how do you display it on the screen.
