Issue in parsing an XML using kxml in Creme 4.1 JVM for WIndows CE

Hi,
I have written a code to parse an XML using KXML.jar.
The code will read the XML file, parse the content and writes data to a text file.
The code is working fine in normal Windows XP enviroment.
The same code when tested in a pocket PC is not writing the content and also not throwing any error or exception.
Please give me some inputs on how to resove this issue.

There can be any number of items( 1 to n). I need to parse these
item values using SAX parser and invoke a stored procedure for
each item with its
values(partnumber,qty,lpn,refnum1,refnum2,refnum3).
Suppose if there are 100 items, i need to invoke the stored
procedure sp1() 100 times for each item.
I need to invoke the stored procedure in endDocument() method of
SAX event handler and not in endelement() method.
What is the best way to store those values and invoke the stored
procedure in enddocument() method.
Any help would br greatly appreciated.

VO or ValueObject is a trendy new name for Beans.
So just create an item class with variables for each of the sub elements.

Parsing an XML using DOM parser in Java in Recursive fashion

I need to parse an XML using DOM parser in Java. New tags can be added to the XML in future. Code should be written in such a way that even with new tags added there should not be any code change. I felt that parsing the XML recursively can solve this problem. Can any one please share sample Java code that parses XML recursively. Thanks in Advance.

Actually, if you are planning to use DOM then you will be doing that task after you parse the data. But anyway, have you read any tutorials or books about how to process XML in Java? If not, my suggestion would be to start by doing that. You cannot learn that by fishing on forums. Try this one for example:

Issue with parsing an xml document and namespaces

I am having an issue when parsing an xml document that includes a namespace.

If I remove the namespace, everything works just fine. The issue is that I cannot remove the namespace.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the xslprocessor.selectNodes to recognize my namespace?

Actually my problem is that When i am using Custom MessageBox in SelectionChangedEvent of LongListSelector,when i am click Open(Left Button) it's working fine and navigated correctly,But when i am Click the No(Right Button) then it stayed in same page

Same custom messagebox code working in Phone_BackKeyPress event i am writing the code in Right Button that e.OriginalSource.ToString(); then it is working fine.
But It is not working in Selection Changed Event in LongListSelector control in Windows Phone 8.

What happens if you leave the implementation for LeftButton empty as well , does the page gets stuck in that case also, if you press left button?

Hi thanks for reading. Now I may well have my terminology incorrect here so I will try to explain as best I can and apologies from the start.
It’s a bit of both Hyper-v and Server 2012R2.
I am setting up a lab with Server 2012 R2. I have several physical network cards that I have teamed called “HostSwitchTeam” from those I have made several Virtual Network Adaptors such as below
examples.
New-VMSwitch "MgmtSwitch" -MinimumBandwidthMode weight -NetAdaptername "HostSwitchTeam" -AllowManagement $false
Add-VMNetworkAdapter -ManagementOS -Name "Vswitch" -SwitchName "MgmtSwitch"
Add-VMNetworkAdapter -ManagementOS -Name "Cluster" -SwitchName "MgmtSwitch"
When I install Hyper-V and it comes to adding a virtual switch during installation it only shows the individual physical network cards and the
HostSwitchTeam for selection. When installed it shows the Microsoft Network Multiplexor Driver as the only option.
Is this correct or how does one use the Vswitch made above and incorporate into the Hyper-V so a weight can be put against it.
Still trying to get my head around Vswitches,VMNetworkadapters etc so somewhat confused as to the way forward at this time so I may have missed the plot altogether!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Based on my understanding of the description , "HostMgmtSwitchTeam and
HostVMSwitch " are teamed NIC .
You can think of them as two physical NICs (do not use NIC 1,2,3,4,5 any more , there are just two NICs "HostMgmtSwitchTeam and
HostVMSwitch").
V-Curric,
V-Livemigration , V-iSCSI ,
V-HeartBeat are just VNICs of host (you can change their name then check if the virtual switch name will be changed )

Parsing a XML using Jdom --- Problem pls help

I am reposting it as I was told to format the code and send it again.
I am trying to parse a xml file using a jdom java code.This code works fine if I remove xmlns attribute in the root element. (I get the expected result) .If the "xmlns" attribute is put in the xml as it should be then the parsing and retrieving returns null. Please tell me how to fix this issue.

Hi,
    I have created an action block for client.
    it takes a xml file present on D drive and generates a pdf by parsing the xml file.
    My code was working perfectly fine till yesterday.
But now i getting , [INFO ]: Error-- Premature end of file. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file.
But xml is perfectly fine. Also the code work from eclipse.
Need some inputs on this.

what exactly did you change? How do you call the action block? What version/Support package/Build of MII do you use?
Have you see the following thread? There a user had the same message which was caused by missing credentials.

I have installed the Windows 8 on my MacBook using BootCamp already, but I cannot install drivers for Windows now: I've got only BootCamp 3 disk and it doesn't goo even if I start it using compatibility options. And my BootCamp on Mac didn't offer me to burn cd with drivers for windows as I saw in many instructions. How can I resolve the problem? Thanks a lot.

Go back to Boot Camp: on the 2nd page you get this:
Download the support software and as Windows is already installed uncheck the 2nd box.

Parsing my xml using XMLBeans

I'm trying to use XMLBeans to load my xml file and access different elements of it. Here is my schema:

I can run scomp and generate a xmlbeans jar file.
When I try to load my xml file, I get this error:
org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: error: Unexpected element: CDATA
Here is my java code that tries to load my xml file and errors out:
HazardDocument myParsedDoc =
HazardDocument.Factory.parse(myXmlFile);
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for the reply. And sorry for the confusion. I am passing a File to that method call. I've been working on this for awhile and I'm about to go back to JaxB.

I"m able to System out the JSMDataDocument and JSMData after my xml file gets parsed and I can see my xml printed out correctly, but when I do JSMData.sizeOfHazardArray , I get 0 when I should be getting 5 (1 for each Hazard element in my xml file).
Here is my xml file snippet:

Using Xserve w/ XRAID, Binding to AD for Windows Filesharing. Issues.

Hi all, first time post im hoping that you guys can lead me in the right direction with the issue that im having. Seems like I have tried everything.
I installed an Xserver with a backend Xraid. My goal is to use the Server as a Windows file sharing passthrough for the storage on the Xraid. So I went ahead and bound the xsrv to AD, everything went fine. At that point Directory services asked me to go into server admin and click the "Join Kerberos" button. I went there and did that no errors. I went into workgroup manager, and I am authenticating to AD since i see AD groups and users etc. I create a share..,I then try to connect to the share, or even just browes the machine with smb. For example: (on windows) START->RUN->\\xsrv\ <ENTER>
At this point I am challanged for a username and password. so it seems that AD integration is not working. I have looked over the logs, and I know the issue is with Kerberos....i see this:

If i look into my Kerberos application i see that i DO NOT have a ticket either. Im almost sure this is the root cause of the issues..
Here is another odd thing, I can't tell you how many times I have joined and unjoined the AD domain. Here is the odd thing, after the first time joining, I no longer have the "Join Kerberos" button in the server admin. Its just not there.
Anyone that can help it would be much appricated.

What services was running on this machine prior to binding it to AD?
If you have OD (master) setup you probably will get kerberos/LDAP problems.
The server has it's IP/name setup in DNS (A and reverse PTR records - in AD DNS machine - does not always have reverse zone configured if smaller network)?
What does /Library/Preferences/edu.mit.kerberos look like?
changeip - checkhostname gives?
I belive Tiger OS X Server automatically adds spnego=yes and security=ads to /etc/smb.conf when you bind to AD, older versions (Panther) does not.

CreateSparseDisk error using Convert-WindowsImage.ps1 to create VHD for Windows 10 Preview

I have been trying to use convert-windowsimage.ps1 to create a Windows 10 .VHD under Windows 8.1 (inside VirtualBox)
.\convert-windowsimage.ps1 -Sourcepath .\install.wim -Edition Professional -VHDFormat VHD -DiskType Fixed -SizeBytes 40GB -VHDPath .\Win10Previewx64.vhd
This returns:
ERROR : Exception calling "CreateFixedDisk" with "4" argument(s): "The parameter is incorrect"
I get a similar error if I accept the default to create a sparse disk and the default SizeBytes value.
I did notice when typing the command in the ISE that most of the parameter values turn purple, but with SizeBytes 40GB changes back to cream when you add the B of GB - I'm not sure if this is relevant. The code does appear to expect GB TB or KB.

Use Mac to download/burn security patches for windows xp machine?

Hi, I'm trying to migrate from windows xp to Mac mini. The xp machine is infected with something nasty (phones home whenever I connect), so I won't take it online, but want to get latest security updates.
Can I use the Mac to do this? i.e., if I download security patches from microsoft onto the Mac, burn them to CD, will they be readable on the XP machine?
The only OS on the Mac is OS X (10.4.8).

Sure. A file is a file is a file, and OS X burns CDs by default as ISO 9660, which is also readable by Windows. I've downloaded files on Macs, burned them to CD and opened them on Windows (and vice versa) countless times. Although nowadays I mostly use my USB keychain.
