Issue in using ATRV () Function

Hi All,
I have a FOX Code in which i am trying to populate 0PROFIT_CTR which is the attribute of the master data, YCSTATMCG. I tried to use the ATRV Function, but it doesnt seem to be working. My code is as below:
DATA V_ATCP TYPE YCSTATMCG.
DATA V_PROFIT TYPE 0PROFIT_CTR.
DATA V_AMOUNT TYPE F.
V_AMOUNT = {0AMOUNT,  # }.   // initially, profit center will be #. So am just backing up my keyfigure.
V_PROFIT = ATRV(0PROFIT_CTR , V_ATCP).
MESSAGE I020(YCO_CFT) WITH V_PROFIT.
{0AMOUNT, V_PROFIT} = V_AMOUNT. // generate records with 0PROFIT_CTR read from master data
{0AMOUNT, #} = 0. // Finally i delete the data with profit center as #
But no records are generated with the Profit Center populated. The master data is perfectly maintained with proper values. I am not able to find out what is the problem. Please help me out.

Hi,
even i have the same situation.
Scenario.
ZGL_ACC2 is an attribute (populated using characteristic relationship method in report)of 0material.
I need the values of ZGL_ACC2 to get replicated into 0gl_account in the report output.
Please let me know is the below logic is correct
i just want the attribute value of a char to be populated into another characteristic in the planning query.
my 2nd  question is whether i should populate the keyfigure fields also in the FOX code.
if so should i populate both 0amount and 0quantity fields as i have 2 keyfigure fields.
