Hi friend,
You may probably achieve that by using a formatted search.
1. Add a formatted search to the field issue method.
2. Add a query like:
Select 'Manual' (PS: Just a sample, the query detail might be a little bit different)
3. Set the formatted search auto-refreshed by the field 'Item code'
Then once an item is input, the issue method will be auto-changed to manual.
Hope this help.

  • Why some items can not change issue method in Production Order?

    Hi,
    I have a Production Order which had been released.
    As some reason, I need to change issue method on some items in this Production Order, but I found that some items can be changed with a dropdown list, and some items can not be changed without dropdown list.
    Why they are different?
    What should I do to meet my users' request?
    Thanks.

    Hai wilson,
    sorry i visits forum after long time .. item category means , when create item group there are two option Service / Material if u select service , inventory come under that group only in "Back flush" other wise u can select "Manual / Back flush"

  • Help with SQL Code - Production Order with Manual Issue Method

    Hi,
    I need some assistance here.
    I need to retrieve Production Order which has component's issue method = 'M'.
    Eg:
    Production Order #50001 has 4 components.
    Component A, issue method = 'M'
    Component B, issue method = 'B'
    Component C, issue method = 'B'
    Component D, issue method = 'M'
    Production Order #50002 has 2 components.
    Component B, issue method = 'B'
    Component C, issue method = 'B'
    When I run the query, I want to display the Production #50001 componenets simply because in this Production Order, it contains components with issued method 'M'.   However, Production #50002 will not be displayed because no components are with issued method = M.
    Appreicate any help in advance.

    No, this is not what I need.
    To put in IssueMethod in the where clause will only gives me the component line with Manual.
    Please refer to the example.
    I have a production order which, its components have combination of issue method = 'Manual' as well as Backflush.
    I need to display all of them within the Production Order if the production order contain any line which has issue method = Manual.

    Thanks,
    But the scenario is as follows:
    there are 400 line items and most of the repated items for different BOM's and its very difficult to select all the items and generate batch no. Instead is there any work around solution that have multi select all the items and allocate batch nos automaticaly by FIFO Method

  • Master Data Issue Method

    Hello Experts,
    We are Machine  Manufacture & We recently replace issue method manual to Backflush Method. For Sub contracting job We  use Production Order & raise Service Order along with Prd. Order to our Vendors. We Pre Plan our major qty in Production Order for whole month or for consignment & our sub contaractors sent send material in part.Till now we were sending Issue for prodcution slip as outward challan alongwith raw materail we provided to our sub contractor. But in this position(Backflush Method) I can't decide what document as outward challan i should send with materail. For now the time I am sending a Serivce Order copy with material but that is not  enough as We need an Out ward challan for materail what we are sending to our sub contractors.
    Sry If I am not much clear.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
    Gordon is right.
    1.Create a separate warehouse for Subcontractor.
    2.While issuing to Subcon, use inventory transfer to that SubCon warehouse.
    3. Don't forget to use the SubCon warehouse in Production order's component items (in order to utilise the items from SubCon warehouse and not from your store stock)

  • Unable to install itunes 10.5 after update issue. "windows installer package error"

    So when the update for itunes happened, it wiped my ipod, and then my ipod would not work with itunes. So I uninstalled itunes and tried to reinstall it and it gives me that error message. "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I have tried all the fixes from deleting everything to running command prompts. I think i tried everything.

    6.       After the uninstallation is complete, do not restart your computer if you are prompted to.
    7.       If other program entries were listed for iTunes in Programs and Features remove those as well.
    8.       In Programs and Features, also remove any iPod Updater applications that are listed in the same fashion as you removed iTunes.
    Method 6: You may also try downloading the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and run that to remove the leftover ITunes installer files that may be causing issues with your current installation.
    You may refer the following article to download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:

    I was able to install quick time just fine. All of the other apple software associated with itunes installed fine but itunes did not. Im not sure if there is a virus that could do this. I didnt delete anything but apple folders.
    I have tried other things but i cant remember exactly there were.
    When the install process for itunes is running it changes with the error message shows up during install.
    Thanks.

    I should have posted this earlier, but anyway. I restored my laptop to factory version after backing up any useful data, and the first thing I the laptop was restored was connect to the internet, download and install the latest version of iTunes. And Bingo! It worked.

    Hi all,
    The scenario is,
    when the user is trying to add the issue for production system is showing error item cost not

    method for that item is FIFO.since the valuation method is FIFO,error related to item cost should

    Since the valuation method is FIFO.Item cost error should not occur.

  • Pulseaudio and systemd --user: DBus scope issues?

    Hi,
    I have a multi-seat setup, so I need user-wide pulseaudio and whatnot. I'm trying to setup my boot through systemd --user.
    Testing audio working apps are firefox, mpv, and mpd. The problem is:
    - If I start pulseaudio and mpd manually everything is fine (no use of systemd)
    - If I start pulseaudio through systemd no application has sound.
    - If I start pulseaudio and mpd through systemd only mpd has sound.
    raimundoyamtech~$ cat .config/systemd/user/pulseaudio.service
    [Unit]
    Description=PulseAudio Sound System
    After=sound.target
    [Service]
    ExecStart=/usr/bin/pulseaudio
    [Install]
    WantedBy=multi-user.target
    raimundoyamtech~$ cat .config/systemd/user/mpd.service
    [Unit]
    Description=Music Player Daemon
    After=network.target sound.target
    [Service]
    ExecStart=/usr/bin/mpd %h/.config/mpd/mpd.conf --no-daemon
    ExecStop=/usr/bin/mpd %h/.config/mpd/mpd.conf --kill
    Restart=always
    [Install]
    WantedBy=multi-user.target
    If I add BusName=org.pulseaudio.Server to the pulseaudio.service nothing changes.
    Using pulseaudio's autospawn=yes leads to what seems to be same behaviour: mpd by systemd starts pulseaudio and is the only app with sound.
    ./config/pulse/client.conf only contains default-sink. Everything else is default.
    Using alsa alone is not an option because of firefox.
    Any thoughts?
    EDIT:
    raimundoyamtech~$ systemctl --version
    systemd 208
    +PAM -LIBWRAP -AUDIT -SELINUX -IMA -SYSVINIT +LIBCRYPTSETUP +GCRYPT +ACL +XZ

    I don't know almost anything about systemd, especially because it changes so rapidly and documention is so scarce and outdated that either I read the whole documentantion for my version in hopes of finding my problem (something for which I do not have time) or post a topic.
    I posted everything I touched regarding systemd since the installation of my system, that's all the relevant information I know I can give, so at this point I had no more info to give.

    I could start things. Pulseaudio started, so did mpd. I also have a /usr/lib/systemd/systemd --user process started for each user. I assumed this would be it since this

    always happens and I've read that systemctl --user is no longer required.
    [EDIT]
    Fixed it. Don't remember where I read that it wasn't required, just that it was in the same place I found someone else complaining about getting this error.
    For anyone else encountering this: sed -i s/system-auth/system-login/g /etc/pam.d/systemd-user
    and systemctl --user will work. Insults fly out to the one who wrote it wasn't required!
    Still am not able to get an active session though
    [/EDIT]
    Why would there be a need for anything else? I'm gonna check on that. Thanks!
    See, the bump worked ^^ but ok I'll try to refrain from doing that next time. Sorry.

    I'm having some serious issues migrating a machine to systemd.
    The first error I had was with dbus refusing to start, apparently when I did my upgrade this morning it did not add the dbus user/group. I created the user and then dbus.service starts but it crashes / gets restarted about every 30 seconds, here is the repeated entry in the journal:

    I have tried uninstalling and re-installing dbus-core, and 'cat /proc/1/comm' shows systemd. I've searched google for a few hours and haven't found anything!

    If you are still using dbus-core, then your system is out of date.  Did you first update your entire system before trying to switch to systemd?  I kind of suspect you are just trying to install only the packages you need and do the update... if this is what you are doing then it is bound to cause problems.

    Hi Kim
    If You are adding only one row then there is no need of
    "ProdDoc.Lines.Add();"
    Because first row is already added
    so if you are adding more than one row thenn only use ProdDoc.Lines.Add();
    for eg.
    ProdDoc.Lines.BaseEntry = 55619;
    ProdDoc.Lines.BaseLine = 0;
    ProdDoc.Lines.SerialNum = "hhhhhhhhhh";
    ProdDoc.Lines.Quantity = 1;

    ProdDoc.Lines.BaseEntry = 55620;
    ProdDoc.Lines.BaseLine = 0;

  • Having issues with starting systemd as user.

    I am trying to process through the steps for configuring SABnzbd for local user configs but after rebooting from completing the steps here. I double checked my work but I still get an error when I am trying to start the service as me.
    This is what I am getting:
    $ systemctl --user

    MPD is not running:
    % ps -ef | grep mpd !1004
    honza 2625 1629 0 22:41 pts/0 00:00:00 grep mpd
    Then I made that /etc/systemd/system/[email protected] file, same as yours.
    % sudo systemctl enable mpd@honza !1006
    ln -s '/etc/systemd/system/[email protected]' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/[email protected]'
    % sudo systemctl start mpd@honza
    This seems OK, but MPD is not running.
    % systemctl list-units | grep 'mpd' !1009

    [email protected] loaded failed failed Music Player Daemon
    That was your first example. The second one:
    honza@inkognito ~
    % systemctl list-units | grep 'mpd'
    honza@inkognito ~
    % systemd --user &
    [1] 1703

    % mpd.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
    mpd.service: control process exited, code=exited status=1
    Unit mpd.service entered failed state
    I used the same service file.
    But at least the "systemd --user &" line in terminal helped a little, because I'm not getting that first error anymore.
    % systemctl --user status mpd
    mpd.service - Music Player Daemon
    Loaded: loaded (/home/honza/.config/systemd/user/mpd.service; enabled)

    CGroup: name=systemd:/user/honza/2/systemd-1703/mpd.service
    So.. something's wrong.
    Thank you for your help, btw.

    Hi,
    The Item Description field in the Issue for Production document is taking the value from the Item in the production order which has issue method as Manual. So by default it takes the value of the Item.
    May be you can explain the reason behind such a requirement for further checking.
    Kind Regards,

  • DCOM 10009 error after renaming local computer name. (No network computers involved in this issue)

    The DCOM 10009 error generated references the previous name of the computer. Here is the scenario:
    These aren't the real names of the computer). The computer was named
    computerX-NEW and was renamed to computerX during deployment setup. The DCOM error states "DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer
    computerX-NEW using any of the configured protocols." When I look at the error details, a PID is referenced which turns out to be the RPCSS process/service. I suspected a piece of software that was installed on the computer until I performed
    a Clean Boot with all startup programs disabled and all non-Microsoft services disabled. The error still occured. Also the error is occuring about 5 or 6 times per minute. The only thing I can start doing at this point is disabling MS services at boot to find
    the culprit, but I'd like a less brutal approach to correct the issue. Any suggestions?

    Hi,
    The following are possible causes of this error:
    1. Name resolution errors are occurring.
    2. All TCP ports on the server are being used.
    3. TCP port collisions are occurring.
    4. The network connections may not be configured properly.
    To troubleshoot DCOM 10009 errors, use the following methods.
    Method 1: Verify that name resolution is working correctly
    The activation page for a COM+ proxy application contains a Remote Server Name (RSN) property. The RSN property can be an IP address, a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), or a NetBIOS name. To troubleshoot this issue, use the ping command to test connectivity
    to the remote server by using the IP address, the FQDN, and the NetBIOS name.
    Method 2: Verify TCP port usage
    When a client makes DCOM calls to a COM+ server application, each connection may use a different TCP port. Therefore, all TCP ports on the server may be used. When this condition occurs, the server cannot accept additional connections.
    Method 3: Verify basic network connectivity to troubleshoot TCP collision issues
    Method 4: Check the network connections. Check the Registry under HKEY Local Machine/Software/Microsoft/RPC/DCOM Protocols for the list of RPC protocol sequences.

  • Issue for Production Price list field missing

    Hello all,
    I have a strange issue with a field missing in the issue for production window. When an issue for production is created, the Price list field is missing. Please see the attached screenshot. Does anyone know how to show this field? I have checked form settings and it's not an option there.

    Hi Chris
    Following is the SAP Note No: 1720071
    Symptom
    When opening "Issue for Production" from "Production Order", "Price List" field is missing.
    Reproducing the issue
    1. Login to SAP Business One.
    2. Go to Production->Production Orders, open a "released" production order document.
    3. Right-click a row whose "issue method" is "Manual", and choose "Issue Components". (If all the rows have "Backflush", you need to change one of them.)
    4. "Price List" field is missing on the left top of the new screen.
    5. If you click "Attachments" tab, the field will be showing correctly.
    Solution
    Current workaround is to click "Attachments" tab to make "Price List" showing.
    The issue is planned to be fixed in SAP Business One 9.0.
    With Regards

  • DTW--  How to Import  Issue for Production

    Hi ,
             How do i import Issue for Production Through DTW.
    Thanks & Regards
    somi mishra

    hello,
    why do you want to use DTW to issue for production ? You could use backflush as issue method so that you can skip issue for production job. If you have issue for production batch job which it means you want to add all the qty of RM issued to production one times and all at onces for more than 10 PO, I think it is better to use addon. You create an excel template and export the data to be txt file, the txt file imported to the issue for production form using the addon. I just compare this situation with the client request in long time ago. they request fast and not manual sales order creation from quotation. just to compare it to your situation but need your detail explanation.
