Issue:on menu options under Customizing

Hi,
I am new to SAP-HCM & learning it under IDES 6.0. I am not very clear about why we should create a project under IMG. Why not directly do the project customization work under the menu options in the Easy Access menu? Also, how to find if there Is any "Help" in the system to understand what is "Customization" ?

Yes and No - It actually depends if it is 2 different projects - Ok let me give you an example
If if you have an HCM project for the client in the first phase and the Second Phase is SD and MM
You would certainly create 2 different projects if you are using the same DEV client (which i asume you would to use to unit test the integation) so that when you transport your request, you would only transport request's by associating them to your project to have a better clarity on the requests sent.
But if you have the same running in parallel , i assume you would not need to create 2 different project in the Customizing (it is basically the name of the project given my the client ex- Project Delta or Project HRM or ......) As a practice it has moslty been the same project.
I hope this is clear ! ( If not , i hope probabaly some of the other experts may be in a better position to explain it to you )

How do I hide/remove the Invite People menu option under Share in Office 2013

We have attempted to disable all the cloud features of Office 2013 using GPOs. However, the "Invite People" menu option under Share in the Office backstage view still shows up. Is there a GPO or reg key to remove or hide this option? See image

Menu option under recursive tree item/folder & checkbox in tree

Hi,
I want to present a checkbox next to an item or folder in a recursive tree.
I didn't see any option to do it so I tried to add a menu and a menu option type checkbox under the node item and note type.
The issue it does nothing.
Any ideas?

Everything mentioned here step by step:
0. You cannot use check-boxes inside tree, so you have to emulate them with images (or use Table with Tree-like master column -- not discussed in this message)
1. Create boolean attribute isChecked in node
2. Create calculated read-only string attribute cbIcon, write following in generated getter function:
return element.getIsChecked() ?
"~sapicons/b_okay.gif" : "~sapicons/b_canc.gif";
or whatever images you are using.
3. Create & bind action onAction for TreeNode / TreeItem.
-- apply parameters mapping in wdDoModifyView:
if ( firstTime )
final IWDTreeNodeType treeNode = (IWDTreeNodeType)
view.getElement("<your-tree-node-element-id>");
treeNode.mappingOfOnAction()
.addSourceMapping("path", "selectedElement");
Your action must define parameter with type of your node element and name selectedElement
-- write the following code for handler:
selectedElement.setIsSelected( !selectedElement.getIsSelected() );
4. Bind cbIcon attribute as TreeNode / TreeItem image source, bind rest of attributes.

Lost pdf optimizer menu option under advanced tool bar

I was tinkering was a rather
large pdf setting trying to reduce its size when adobe
restarted and somesort installation process kicked in
after that I lost the PDF Optimizer option which used to be visible under the advanced tool bar any idea what had happened there

Merge to HDR Pro is not in menu option under automate in Photoshop CS6.

I am doing a Photoshop CS6 course. One tutorial involves using "merge to HDR Pro" shioch shoule be in File - Automate. I don't have this in my menu listing. Does anyone know why this is and if it is possible to add it? Thank you.

Open Recent menu option not working

My open recent menu option under the "file" menu is greyed out and I can'g access my recent projects. Any ideas why this is? I'm using a Mac that has a few different users under different Logins on OSX Lion 10.7.4. I've heard that some preferences may need to be deleted but I don't want to mess up my system and delete the wrong file! Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you saving to?
Try repairing Permissions/Disk in Disk Utility.

"Music" menu option disappeared from main iPod menu after software update

I need some help. I own the 80GB Video iPod. After performing the most recent update to the iTunes software, I was notified of a software update for the iPod (v1.2.1) so I installed it on the iPod.
iPod seemed to work fine until I decided to find music using the "Music" menu option on the main iPod menu... well, guess what, there is no "Music" menu option on the iPod. I have:
Photos
Videos
Playlists
Extras
Settings
Shuffle Songs
... no "Music" option.

There is a "Main Menu" option under Settings, that allows you to customize what does and does not appear on the main menu. Just go there and turn "Music" back on.

Customer Support options under Menu on MRDVR

Under Customer Support, there I a menu for Top Support Tools. Under that, there is "Fix FIOS TV Issues" which says it will reset the STB. There is also "Auto-fix for MRDVR". What is the difference?

Makes sense. Then what is the difference between "Fix FIOS TV Issues" and "Auto-correct STB/DVR". Since they are separate items under Customer Support, I assume they do something different.

HT5361 I am having trouble with closing the mail app so that I can shut off my laptop. the menu bar under file doesn't give me the option to quit. that option is lister, but it is faded. command Q will not close mail either.

I am unable to shut off my laptop because I can not close the mail app. Command Q doesn't work. While "quit mail" shows up under FILE on the menu bar, it is faded and not a working option. Mail appears to be frozen. I also can not pull up the mail page despite the app being open. Clicking on the mail icon does nothing and there are no available options under the menu bar. Help, please! Try force-quitting (command-option-esc).

How to add custom menu options in myaccounts module?

Hi experts,
To implement this, I have found myaccount.xml file in UI of myaccounts module. In this file, I found only menu headings but not menu options. Can anyone explain where data of menu options were populated from and how can I add my custom menu options? I also have tried to delete the menu heading but there was no effect. Please help!! I'm on WEC 1.0.

the path to the billing module is "sap.com/wec/ecom/mc/billing". But nevertheless
1. you need only to enhance in your current modul the metadata.xml file with the link to your own myaccount.xml which you can create.
2. and then you can define within the new file the menu options you need.
3. the last step is to update your shop configuration with the new menu options.

Your screenshot shows that you have the page source visible, so you already have the source code including HTML code available to copy. 
You should see the Copy HTML entry if you right-click a normally rendered HTML page.

Customizing menu options in Navigator

e.g. I wish to display a different 'About' information in Help Menu. How can we do that ?

How to Disable\Remove Registration option under Help menu in Lightroom 5.3

Could someone kindly guide as to how can we remove\Disable the Lightroom Registration option under help menu for Adobe lightroom 5.3?
I intend to deploy the application for enterprise users and do not wish that the users should be able to see the Serial number or try registering the product on thier own.
I know this can be done for Adobe CS6 and CS5 using the AAMEE tool which again does not work for Lightroom.
Is there any tool from Adobe or any registry key/File to suppress this option.

Currently, there isn't a way to do this. But this has reacently become a common feature request and we are working to get it added.

Possible to add custom menu options to Reader?

Hi,
My proof of concept project involves investigating the capabilities of Adobe Reader to allow customized menu options and functionality to be added to it.
What we hope to do is create a PDF using the LiveCycle services which will then be viewed online by a user through Adobe Reader. If possible, we'd be looking to add a customized menu with one or two options to send requests back to our server. Is such functionality possible using Adobe Reader 9?
So far, I've read of a Customization Wizard and a Plug-In API that seem to allow for such extensability. However, would these customizations have to be installed separately client-side on top of Adobe Reader ? As this project will affect a couple thousand of users we hope to be able to invoke functionality provided by the basic Adobe Reader without additional client-side configuration. (Also, Adobe Reader Extensions is not an option for this project.)
Is this possible, or what are our options?

I've done some more investigation into this and can see that the JavaScript for Acrobat API contains capabilities that allow customized menu options to be added, and Web Services to be invoked from Adobe Reader.
However, I've been unable to locate how this JavaScript is deployed. Is it embedded within the generated PDF or is it configured on a client-side Reader application?
Any info would be appreciated.
