I can replicate all by problem number 1. Once the PDF loads, I can use the arrow keys to scroll up/down. All of the other problems you mentioned haven't been implemented.

I hate it when they change all the keyboard shortcuts. Is there a fix for these?

I don't understand why Adobe thinks that consistency is a bad thing, but it seems that everytime they update they go jerking with my keyboard shortcuts. Last time it was Indesign, this time it Photoshop that has me complaining. Usually I can change things back to the way I like under Edit/ Keyboard Shortcuts... but this time they've really done it.
Probably the 2 sets of shortcuts that I use the most over the last 15 years of using Photoshop, thus have become a natural reflex, when using the program are Toggling between CMYK channels via cmd-1,2,3&4, (sorry using cmd 3,4,5&6 is just completely unnatural) and Fit to Window (cmd-0). I cannot find a menu selection anywhere that would allow me to change these back, and Fit to Window has been completely removed from the view menu altogether! WTF?
I guess I could get used to the new channel key commands if need be, but no Fit to Window? what is this world coming to?
Anyone know of a workaround to this problem.

Delete files with keyboard-shortcuts

just wanted to know a few tricks or keyboard shortcuts.
on a pc, when i deleted some files, i always pressed the del-button and then the right-arrow to select 'yes'
on the mac it doesn't work the same. you press the cmd+backspace but when i press de right-arrow to select 'yes', it doesn't work.
it means i have to grab the mouse again. is there some shortcut or key to completely perform this operation with the keyboard.

Sure there is. Select full keyboard access in System Preferences/Keyboard. You will then be able to move around all dialogue boxes (and other controls) via TAB. In addition to ENTER which selects the glowing button, SPACE selects the blue surrounded button.
You can also disable Finder’s "Do you reall want to delete" dialogue in its preferences.

Insert in timeline with keyboard shortcut

I am looking for the keyboard shotcut to get a clip in the timeline. I can drag it with the mouse, but there must be a way to do it through a keyboard shortcut...

The F9 works but it makes the FCP timeline active, so if i want to keep adding edits from the same clip i have to click the viewer window before continuing, which is really lame because when you drag, you can continue to do so without activating the timeline window

Insert variable with keyboard shortcut

The only keyboard shortcut I can find to insert a variable is CTRL-0. This colors the left side
of the status bar and gives you the entire list of user variables with -- with "Not Applicable" as the
highlighted choice. It appears that you have to traverse the list with the mouse pointer and
click on the desired variable.
This is just as cumbersome as calling up the variables pod and double clicking on the
variable you want.
Is there a way to define a keyboard shortcut to insert a particular variable?

I just updated to 10.0.2 and the behavior is the same.
I can't tell you the version number I had been running because I couldn't find an "About" button.
I thought that FM checked for updates when I installed it from a 10.0 CD. Applications typically check
for available updates when you install and register and let you choose whether to update.
So Adobe doesn't inform you of new FM updates either?
I really appreciate the help I get from this forum. Even though the update installation didn't
say I had to reboot, I'll try that and let you know whether that changes the behavior.
I'd reboot and check right now except that I have a gazillion things open while I work on
the client's document.
But it's not a life-or-death situation. I may even retain my sanity while trying to figure this out...

Ever have iPhone crash when you try to delete Keyboard Shortcut

When I goto Settings > General > Keyboard and then under "Shortcuts" when I try to delete one of them and only a spesific one, the iPhone crashes and goto he homescreen (First Springboard) . I was thinking to reset all settings but thats troublesome. And its because of this one word I can't delete it makes all my other shortcuts not work.

Well, if your profile information is correct (iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.4), then your device is jailbroken. 6.1.3 is the highest available for iPhone 4S.
Check your information; don't 'assume' that you have the newest iOS. Go to Settings > General > About, and see what is says next to 'Version'.

Looking for app to quickly with keyboard shortcut (i.e. Control R) resize photos like I can do with Irfanview in Windows

I am trying to switch from Windows to OSX but must first find Mac equivalent solutions for daily tasks performed in Windows.
1. I am looking for an app to quickly resize photos using keyboard shortcuts, i.e. Control + R, just like I can do with Irfanview in Windows.
2. I am looking for an app which will quickly resize multiple photos like I can do with Irfanview.
3. I am looking for another (or the same) light weight app to quickly convert and combine one or more jpgs to PDF. The windows app I am currently using is called JPEGtoPDF from www.compulsivecode.com.

Issue when creating sales order with Sold-to/Ship-to Party's state

Hi All,
we have issue while creating Sales Order with picking up of State tax
for Ship-to-party & Sold-to-party.
<b>When we create a sales order, for the sold to party 140052732 and
ship to party 140052733 it is picking state tax. Which should not
suppose to pick? Because the partner is marked as tax exemption</b>.
Can any body tell me how can we solve this issue!
Why this is happening!
How to make not to pick tax when it is marked for tax exemtion.
As i am not Functional guy i am not aware what is happening here!

What do you mean by "It is picking up state tax"? Does it mean that in the pricing procedure it is picking up a condition type which is meant for state tax?
If so go and check the condition record meant for it. Follow the following steps
1) Go to Sales order
2) Select the line item for which the state tax is being picked.
3) In the condition tab select analysis.
4) In Analysis you shall find the condition type meant for state tax.
5) See which condition record has been found.
6) Go to VK12, enter the state tax condition type and check the condition record for that state tax.
7) If wrong correct it.
8) If anything else come back to the post and inform the details

Turning on/off airport with keyboard shortcuts

i read about a method, in a book, to toggle airport on and off by inventing a shortcut for it. i think it was something like system preferences>keyboard and mouse>keyboard shortcuts>+. the book said type the command exactly as it appears in the menu bar, so in this case, Turn AirPort On, and then you designate the shortcut, by pressing the desired keys. ive done that and they show up in the top right drop down menu, but when i press the keys the shortcut doesnt work. can anybody think what i am doing wrong?

hi guys, sorry for the late reply. i was looking for the page reference to the book i found the shortcut instructions in. im fairly sure it was from the rough guide to osx, which i bought at an applestore in london about two weeks ago; it is the only osx book i have. it was either from there or from some random website. i guess ill just forget it, i wanted it for battery management, so you can turn the airport on and off to save the battery, and its kind of annoying to keep using the dropdown menu for that.
anyway, thanks alot for taking the time to reply. do you think if anybody wrote to apple about the fact that it might be a bug, they would take any notice?

Aperture to Photoshop Issue When ReOpening Edited TIF via Keyboard

I have a perplexing Aperture problem. I'm using Aperture 2.1.4 as I haven't upgraded to vs3 yet. Here's my situation:
1) Aperture keyboard shortcut to open edit / open an image version as TIF in Photoshop is: Cmd + Shft + O
2) I edit my photo in PS, save, close file and return to Aperture where the revised TIF thumbnail updates its appearance.
3) Here's the perplexing part. Sometimes I wish to re-open my edited TIF in PS to continue editing the file. If I press the keyboard shortcut again (Cmd + Shft + O) it creates a new version in Aperture and opens that TIF copy up in PS, instead of my original edited TIF.
But if, instead, I right click in Aperture on my 1st edited TIF and choose Edit With > Photoshop, then the first edited TIF opens up as expected in PS.
Any ideas why?

Just to be clear what I am talking about, I am talking about Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts.
My keyboard shortcuts stopped working after the software update. I have deleted and recreated them and nothing.
Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same problem :(
I backed up my iphone 4S - which had been ugpraded to IOS6 - and when i restored to my Iphone 5 -- my shortcut keys had stopped working!
Turning it off - and back on again makes shortcuts work - but only for so long
All my shortcuts have been copied over correctly.
