Issue with Business Partner in SRM

Hi Experts,
we are sending Business partner data from one client to another client in SRM.
In the target client for the tab "Control" in the Business Hours, when I click on the calling hours button we are getting an warning message "Assignment of appointment rules to rule ID incorrect"
we are sending the data related to business hours thru database tables CRMM_BUT_FRG0060 and CRMM_BUT_FRG0061.
Can any provide me with a solution?
Regards
DK

Hi
This issue was resolved by SAP by applying some OSS notes.

  • Business Partner from SRM and CRM in BW

    Gurus,
We are implementing both CRM and SRM this summer. Both make extensive use of Business Partner (0BPARTNER) which is causing headaches. CRM sends "customers" to BW via Business Partner and SRM sends vendors, purchasers and other stuff to BW via Business Partner. Unfortunately, the values of the keys of vendors clash with the value of the keys of customers. For example, Acme Suppliers could be numbered vendor 100 in SRM and Charles Customer could be numbered customer 100 in CRM. Last one loaded to Business Partner in BW wins.
I have three solutions so far:
    1. Compund 0BPARTNER with source system in BW and lfow downstream to all infoproviders.
    2. Create a separate object such as ZBPARTNER and load all SRM entities to this characteristic.
    3. Force each subsystem to change their number ranges. I suspect that is what SAP's Master Data Maintenance does, but I have no experience with this tool.
Has anyone faced this dilemma before? Am I missing something?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
Customer and Vendor are two seperate business entities and deliver seperate business function.
Both of them should be staged seperately. You may have seperate objects for Customer and Vendor. (0CUSTOMER & 0VENDOR).
I agree that both are business partners but functions are different so should be treated as seperate antity.
    I hope it will help.
    Thanks,
    S

  • Issue with trading partner

    Hi ,
I have a issue with trading partner,
While clearing the bank clearing account with bank main account user has got the below error
"Consolidated companies ' ' are different"
The issue is because u201CTrading Partneru201D, document number xxxx has the trading partner.
I have given the below solution to client,
    Proposed solution:
Reverse the payment & invoice documents
Edit the vendor master data (Remove the trading partner from vendor master data)
    Re-post the invoice
    Do the payment document
Now client does not want to revere the document, do we have any other way to do this?
    Regards,
    Sridhar

    Hi Sridhar,
if you make wrong entry in VBUND, it is necessary to REVERSE the document first and re-post with the correct VBUND information.  BSEG-VBUND is one of the important organizational fields which should be managed in the same manner as company code, business area etc. These organizational fields cannot/should not be changed.
Please refer to note 4152, which provides valuable information on why
the error F5080 arises in your system.
Also please consider the following points:
There is also another note, 109925, which describes in detail the
possibility to transfer, into all the line items, the trading partner.
    Use
o  If you want the trading partner to be transferred to all line items,
        do NOT set this indicator.
The System behaviour is the following one:
    1) Both indicators switched OFF:
If a trading partner is maintained in G/L, vendor or customer master
record, VBUND is copied to all document lines. VBUND is unique
    in FI-document.
    2) Indicator "Multiple companies" switched ON and indicator
    "Enter trading partner" switched OFF:
The company ID (= trading partner) is not inherited to other items for
document types that allow cross-company postings.
    3) Indicator "Multiple companies" switched ON and indicator
    "Enter trading partner" switched ON:
You can enter a trading partner when posting to a G/L account and in
the G/L master record, no trading partner is stored.
In this case, the company ID specified manually is entered in all
line items that not yet received a company code from the customer
    or vendor master record.
    Kind Regards,

  • Problem with business partner activation

    Hello experts!
I try to archive business partner but face with one issue.
    My steps:
    1) set the indicator Archiving flag in the Business Partner dialog on the tab page Status
    2) in the initial screen of the archive administration (transaction SARA), enter the object name CA_BUPA
    3) create a variant (add BP number)
    But log is empty
This BP isn’t assign to any document.
    Did I make mistake?
    Thank you!
    Best regard,
    Yuliya

No. Different state name but same state code.
    Ex:
    GA - Georgia in USA
GA - Galapagos Islands in Galapagos Islands
When searching for the Business Partner the city is Atlanta the Country is USA but the State is Galapagos Islands not Georgia.

    Hi,
It would make more sense to speak to a technical resource who is familiar with your system.  Based on the error, it looks like you have connection issues in your landscape - I'm assuming you have CRM & ERP systems communicating and it looks like there is a problem with their connectivity. Best get some basis resource to help you out.

  • Issue with Purchase Order in SRM.

    Hi All,
    Issue:
Requestor name and goods recipient name are empty in the Partner Overview of a Purchase Order. The reason is the requestor who has raised the PO has left the company and not having BP as user number in Portal system any more. These PO's are almost old and closed, but the procurement team needs to trace the trade for the aim of audit, or new conditioning, etc.
    ==========================================================================
Here my question is how to retain user name there as hardcord so that we can contact to successor. Is it possible through BADI's / BAPI's ?
As a workaround we asked user to use ME23N tcode(backend).
    Please suggests!!
    Regards,
    Ravi Vardhan

    Hi Ravi,
Do you have BP guid (which is associated with the user who left the organization) in the PO document. Please check the bbp_pd for this
purchase order number check the field crmd_partner-partner_no,  we have
to change this field with the existing business partner. We can't change the document which has invalid requestor / recipient. We have to update these POs with correct requestor / recipient business partner number via a z report.
Hope this information will help you!!!

    Amudha

  • Question about purchasing data of business partner in SRM 7.0

When we create vendor in ECC with transaction XK01, we can create pruchasing view and company code view of vendor.
But in SRM 7.0, I have not find any place abount company code and purchasing data about business partner?
Any one could provide some suggestions?
    Tanks in advance!

    Hi Justin,
As in previously releases, SRM 5.0 f.e., not all business partner data available in ECC is replicated in to the SRM procurement system (this can be enhanced via developments). The business partner structure in SAP SRM is different from the ECC business partner structure. SAP SRM business partner data only uses 1 view which holds all the data a vendor can have (BP function: vendor). There aren't any views/tabs in SRM.
Company code and purchasing data is determined via organisational schema (ppoma_bbp) and a company and purchasing organization have their own business partner master record in SAP SRM as well.
Note: Certain vendor business partner settings/parameters are better to maintain via the web transaction 'maintain business partner'.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Issue with Business object add ........ VB6, SAP 2004A, SQL Server2000

    my scenario is this,
I am creating a business partner when an item is added , my business partner gets created but not the Item.
The Item is created manually by the user, and the on the Click event of the Add button I create the Business partner. I cannot understand the issue. SAP does not throw any errors either.
If I remove call to the BP creating function then the Item is added.
    here is the code,
    Case et_CLICK

another reason cuold be, what value returns the .add method?
    you can capture ...
    if lret =.add <> 0
        MessageBox.show(ocompany.getlasterrordescription)

  • Enhance business partner in SRM 7.0

    Dear experts,
could you please help us -
is there any way to add customer fields on business partner maintenance transaction
    in SRM 7.0?
In SRM 5.0 it can be done without any problems with the help of note 675800 and EEWB.
But the BADI BBP_BUPA_GET_CUF mentioned in this note is seemed to be obsolete in SRM 7.0
Maybe someone is already solved this task in SRM 7.0?
    Thanks a lot,
    Andrey.

    Hi,
This note seems to be for adding a custom table , I have to add custom fields in the supplier business partner screen.
Do you have any idea how this should be done?
    Thanks & Regards

  • Performance issue with Business Objects Java JRC API in CRXI R2 version

A report is developed using java JRC API in CR XI release 2. When I generate the report in the designer, it took less than 5 seconds to display the results in crystal report viewer inside the designer. But in the QA environment, when I generate the same report from the application, it takes almost 1 to 1.5 minutes to display the same results in PDF. I also noticed that if the dataset contains bigger volume of data, then the reports are taking even longer almost 15 to 20 minutes.
While generating the report from the application, I noticed that most of time is taken during the execution of the com.crystaldecisions.report.web.viewer.ReportExportControl Object method as shown in following line of code
    exportControl.processHttpRequest(request, response, context, null)
We thought the delay in exporting the report to PDF might be the layout of the report and data conversion to PDF for such a bigger volume of data.
Then we investigated the issue and experimented quickly to generate the same report with same result set data from the application using XML, XSL and converted the output XSL-FO to PDF using Apache FOP (Formatting Objects Processor) implementation. The time taken to export the report to PDF is less than 6 seconds. By doing this experiment, it is proved that the issue is not with conversion of data to PDF but it is the performance problem with Business Objects Java JRC API in CR XI R2.
In this regard, I searched for the above issue in the SAP community Network Forums -> Crystal Reports and Xcelsius -> Java Development -> Crystal Reports. But I did not find any answers or solutions for this kind of issue in the forums.
Any suggestion, hint in this matter is very much appreciated.

Ted, The setReportAppServer problem is resolved. Now I could able to generate the report with hardcoded values in the SQLs in just 6 seconds where as the same report was generated in CRXI R2 in 1 minute 15 seconds as mentioned in the earlier message.
But, our exisiting application passes the parameter values to the SQLs embedded in the report. For some reason the parameters are not being passed to the report and the report displays only the labels without data.
As per the crj 12 samples codes, the code is written as shown below.
    1. Created ReportClient Document
    2. SetReportAppServer
    3. Open the report
    4. Getting DatabaseController and switching the database connection at runtime
    5. Then setting the parameters as detailed below
    ParameteFields parameterFieldController = reportClientDoc.getDataDefController().getParameterFieldController();
    parameterFieldController.setCurrentValue("", "paramname",paramvalue);
    parameterFieldController.setCurrentValue("", "paramname",paramavalue);
    byteArrayInputStream = (ByteArrayInputStream)reportClientDoc.getPrintOutputController().export(ReportExportFormat.PDF);
    6. Streaming the report to the browser
Why the parematers are not being passed to the report?  Do I need to follow the order of setting these parameters?  Did I miss any line of code for setting Params using  crj 12?
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

  • Issue with PO Response in SRM 7.0

    Hi Experts,
We have upgraded our system from SRM 4.0 to 7.0. Post upgrade we are facing an issue with PO Response document.
    Scenario:
When the PO is ordred, Vendor sends a the PO response through XML. Our middleware call the an FM which uses BBP_PD_POC_CREATE to create the PO response(BUS2209) with acceptance status.
    Problem:
The status of the PO response is always + In Process+. But in SRM 4,0 we are having the responce with accepted status.
Could you please throw somw light on this.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vishnu Reddy

There is this note that might help you.
Note 1393346 - PCO:Header status is open, even all items in PCO accepted
Although a relatively new note, this note is only relevant for SRM5.0 at the moment. What I'd suggest you do is to (temporarily) modify the standard code (in your development or test system) based on the correction instruction of this note. If it resolves your problem, create an OSS mesasge to SAP and ask them to upport the note to SRM7.0. Then you could reverse your modification back to standard and apply the note officially.

  • Problem with Business partner flow from R/3  to CRM

    Hi,
We are setting up a process to flow of Business Partners from R/3 to CRM.
We have configured PIDE correctly but the problem is when I am creating any customer in R/3 we are getting DUMP.
Kindly help me in this regards.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Check out the following Middleware Configuration :
         <b>CRM Middleware configurations</b>
    1.     Source client for Client copy
Using t-code SCC3 in both CRM and ISU to get the source client used for client copy.      Get source client for profile SAP_ALL.
    2.     RFC Destinations
Use t-code SM59 and check if the following RFC destinations have been created:
    •     CRM
    o     R/3 Destination for CRM e.g. CRTCLNT240
    o     R/3 Destination for ISU e.g. ISTCLNT240
o     Logical Destination for Middleware R&R queues – one for current client and one for client 000.                                                                            e.g. SAPCRM_MW_RR_240, SAPCRM_MW_RR_000
    o     TCP/IP Destination for IPC dispatcher e.g. IPC_RFC_DISPATCHER
    o     TCP/IP Destination for IPC server e.g. IPC_RFC_SERVER
    •     ISU
    o     R/3 Destination for CRM e.g. CRTCLNT240
    o     R/3 Destination for ISU e.g. ISTCLNT240
    3.     Logical Systems
Using t-code SALE check if the following logical systems have been created:
    •     CRM
    o     Own logical system – e.g. CRTCLNT240
    o     Logical system for ISU – e.g. ISTCLNT240
o     Logical system for source client used in client copy – e.g. CRTCLNT200
    •     ISU
    o     Own logical system – e.g. ISTCLNT240
    o     Logical system for CRM – e.g. CRTCLNT240
o     Logical system for source client used in client copy – e.g. ISTCLNT200
Check if own logical system is assigned to the client.
Path: Sending and Receiving systems -> Logical Systems -> Assign Client to Logical      System.
Convert Logical System name in application tables
Use t-code BDLS to convert logical system names in the application system.
    1.     Enter old logical system name retrieved in step 1. e.g. CRTCLNT200
    2.     Enter new logical system name e.g. CRTCLNT240.
    3.     Select radio button Conversion of Client-Dependent Tables and execute the transaction.
This process needs to be carried out 4 times: twice in CRM and twice in ISU.
    •     CRM
    o     Old CRM logical system -> New CRM logical system. e.g. CRTCLNT200 -> CRTCLNT240.
    o     Old ISU logical system -> New ISU logical system. e.g. ISTCLNT200 -> ISTCLNT240.
    •     ISU
    o     Old CRM logical system -> New CRM logical system. e.g. CRTCLNT200 -> CRTCLNT240.
    o     Old ISU logical system -> New ISU logical system. e.g. ISTCLNT200 -> ISTCLNT240.
    4.     Middleware Parameter tables
Use t-code SM30 to maintain middleware parameters in following tables
    •     CRM
    o     Table SMOFPARSFA:
Change value for following parameter entry:
         Key - R3A_COMMON
         Para name - CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION
Value - Old ISU logical system -> new ISU logical system
              E.g. ISTCLNT200 -> ISTCLNT240
    •     ISU
    o     Table CRMRFCPAR:
Delete the previous entry for the following key:
         User - CRM
         Object name - *
RFC Destination - Old RFC destination for CRM e.g. CRTCLNT200.
Load types - All Load Types
Create new entry with following data:
         User - CRM
         Object name - *
RFC Destination - New RFC destination for CRM e.g. CRTCLNT240.
Load types - All Load Types
         In Queue flag - X
         Send XML – No XML
    o     Table CRMPAROLTP:
Change value for following parameter entry:
         Para name - CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION
