Issue with design console in oim 11g r2

Hi,
I created a variable of type long in adapter factory. To map this long variable i added the adapter task and selected a method which has input parameter as long. In the map i selected adapter variables but in the qualifier i dont see the variable which i have created....any inputs is appreciated

This is bug. For workaround you can take export of your adapter and do the mapping in the XML and re-import it back. I haven't tried this but this should work.

  • Issues with offline provisioning in OIM 11G

We are facing an issue with OIM 11G where we are trying to provision few resources via offline provisioning. Ths issue is that when I do a provisioning/disable/enable on the resource the status of the resource says something like "provisioning in queue/Disable in queue/Enable in queue". This is not happenning all the time but seems to be consistent when I repeatedly disable/enable the resource. Once the status of hte resource remains "in queue" it is never changed back to the actual status which says provisioned/disabled/enabled. Can anyone provide me an insight of what is happenning here and how the offline events are processed within OIM? Is there any way to get the status of the resource back to normal? Please let me know.
    Thanks!

  • Missing Features Within the Design Console for OIM 11g?

Hello, I am currently trying to develop an approval workflow for a connector, however, under the process definition section, when I double-click the type I only have access to 'Provisioning', however many unofficial Oracle guides show an additional 'Approval' type. For what I need to do, I am in need of this 'Approval' choice. Is there an extension for the Design Console?
As far as connectors go, I only have the DBUM connector installed. I am currently using Oracle Identity Manager 11.1.1.3.0.

You'll want to read through the Upgrade document in the 11.1.1.5 version to know what the differences are in the features of 9.x and 11g or you will be asking many more questions about pieces that don't exist where they used to.

  • Issue in adapters mapping in OIM 11g

    Hi,
I am having the issue in adapters mapping in OIM 11g.....
I had created an Entity Adapter using utility task in OIM... and I had attached it to post update of users form in data object manager.... But when I am trying to map the adapter variables.... it shows me two fields in map to field (Literal and Entity field) and when I select the entity field.. I am not able to see any thing in qualifier field...as there should be fields of user form so that I can map the adapter variables with user form fields...
I am not able to troubleshoot why is it so....I had restarted the server again but no solution...
Can anybody help me to resolve the issue??

Thanks guys for the quick responses.
But I have tried both the options for putting the jar in Third Party and also by uploading using the OOTB utility UploadJar.sh.
But it is giving the same error.
I have tired rebouncing the server and also Purge cached, but no success.
Just to mention again, I have tried with all the last 3 postgres JDBC4 driver available on the site (u mentioned).
    So, any other clue?
    Thanks in advance.

Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.
    KC

You are correct. If you pre-populate, it will be the requester. The requester would need to manually populate the field during the request with the requestee information. And there is only one form available. You can however, after submission of the request, get the request data, parse the Consolidated Request Data to determine the id's in the request field, and then return appropriate responses to trigger the tasks needed. This will still be a problem in the long run because you can't change the requestee information for each approval task. You're pretty much out of luck on this one.

  • Issue with designer ES4

    Good morning,
I'm getting this issue every time I'm using LiveCycle designer es4 and was wondering if someone else was getting that and if its fixable.
When I design in Designer ES4 and then I press PREVIEW to check my work and then go back into design mode, my work area in designer needs to be reset to how I like it, mostly the size of my windows need re-sizing and it gets to be quite annoying after a while, can I fix that or what I'm a doing wrong here?
    Thank you very much,
    Patrick

    Thanks vNohria.
I am having same issue with Adobe Acrobat 9. The Acrobat 9 cropped file is displaying properly under WinXP but have the same issue as above in Win7. This issue seems uncommon as I tried to look for similar issue  and couldn't find any.
P.S. It's only the Design View in Win7 that has the issue, I can still see the file fine with Preview PDF in both enviornment.

  • Issue with CAS Console for 3.1.1

    Hi All,
We are having an issue with the CAS Console in Workbench. We upgraded bot CAS and Tools and Framework to 3.1.1 from the previous versions. We were able to successfully recreate all the crawls and can execute them from the command line. However when opening Workbench and selecting the CAS Console item we don't get anything displayed. The logs show the following:

  • ThinkStation S20 (4157) issues with RSA console

I have a ThinkStation S20 running Windows XP in an Active Directory environment.  When I join the machine to the domain, I am able to logon successfully using a domain account.
I can move the computer to an Organization Unit to receive software deployed via Group Policy and the machine works fine.
However, when I load the RSA Authentication Agent client (v6.1.3) onto the machine, it will allow me to enter username/password, but will hang at the "Applying Computer Settings..." screen after logon.
I have tested the RSA client on other hardware on the same AD domain, and so it appears to be narrowed down to the Lenovo ThinkStation S20 (4157-WDZ) model.  I am building these machines from an OS image and am configuring them in a RAID mirror using the Intel Matrix RAID.
I know it is a long shot, but has anybody seen issues with the ThinkStation S20 and RSA agents?  I am wondering whether it has something to do with BIOS, NIC drivers, etc.  I have gone current on those as well, and am still left scratching my head.
Thanks for any advice you can give!

I have not tried it on a clean installed Lenovo.  I have tried it however on other systems (non-Lenovo) loaded from the same OS image.
I am not 100% ruling out that it could have something to do with the OS image, but everything runs and loads perfectly on the Lenovo before I put the RSA client on the machine.
Once I add the RSA client to the Lenovo, I begin seeing issues as I described in my original post.
Has anyone seen issues where either firmware, drivers, etc from Lenovo ThinkStation S20 (4157-WDZ) conflict with a RSA client?
    Thanks again for this forum!

I checked all my plugins disabling/enabling. Ran Malware. Reinstalled Java. Reinstalled FF Version 4. Still couldn't get my website edit context to load, but it would on IE. So I uninstalled the Version 4 and went back to Version 3.6.16. All is well
