Issues synchronizing DB

Hello,
I have been having an issue synchronizing my DB to another server. I have 2 servers with a prod and dev DB on both. I have the prod DB on the primary server, and the dev on the secondary. I have replication set with the prod DB to the 2nd server working
no problem. I just did a refresh of the DB for the dev server and I am trying to set up replication the the 1st server. We originally had this setup, but the refresh seemed to have broken it.
Anyways, I have the publisher and subscriber setup and a snapshot taken on the 2nd server. When I try to synchronize, I get a constant error of "Unable to replicate a view or function because the referenced objects or columns are not present on the
Subscriber." After about a minute, it then starts back up and will say, "Skipping file 'file name' because it has already been delivered for a previous article or by a previously interrupted snapshot."
I have spent hours on Google trying to find a solution to this and I have no answers. One thing I wasn't sure is if I had to delete the DB of the subscriber server and if the replication put it back? Could that be my issue?
Any help would be great!

Put the views, procs and functions in their own publication, put the tables in a second publication. Replication the table only publication before the views, procs and function publication.
Note this problem is most frequently caused by publisher views which reference either unpublished tables or tables which no longer exist.

  • Issue synchronizing with Integration Broker

I need some guidance in troubleshooting XenApp integration with VMware Workspace 2.1. It seems like I have successfully installed and configured the Integration broker.
I followed the steps from the installation guide.
    Verify PowerShell remoting.
This sample command string applies to Citrix Server Farm 6.5.
    Get-XAApplication -ComputerName CITRIX SERVER NAME
    -> Works!
Type http://hostname /IB/API/RestServiceImpl.svc/ibhealthcheck to verify that the Integration Broker Web application is running.
    The expected output displays.

Type https://hostname /IB/API/RestServiceImpl.svc/ibhealthcheck to verify that the Integration Broker Web application is running.
    The expected output displays.
    All ok

But then I added the Integration broker to the workspace portal and when I press "Sync Now" I get the message:
    Calculating sync actions.
This takes a long time. When I look at the troubleshooting tab I see the following error:
Failed Sync Action: Could not pull objects from Integration Broker.
I use a self signed certificate on the Integration Broker. Any tips on how to troubleshoot, what to check?
I'm using Windows 2012R2 with IIS 8.5. I'm not sure if that is supported.

The IB healthcheck results seem ok indicating that the IB has been installed properly.
We need to check if the IB is able to communicate with the XenFarm server properly and able to fetch the resources and entitlements.
Please refer to the  Workspace Documentation - Setting Up Resources in VMware Workspace Portal > Troubleshooting Workspace Resource Configuration ->

Please follow instructions here to check if the IB is able to contact the xen farm server. Please send us the IB and connector logs when the failure happens.

  • Issue Synchronizing with Outlook

I must have my Outlook with my contacts, calender and tasks to live. Is it truley as simple as conecting my device with computer and synching through Desktop Manager? Must the computer be connected to the internet for intial syncing? Believe it or not I don't have internet on my office computer. Please help.

    Mysteriously, it started working again.
sherry0618 answer is the best option for anyone running anything but Windows XP. It works perfectly on my Windows 7 machine. Synchronization with iTunes is horrible at best.

  • Outlook Calendar Sync Issue "Microsoft Office Outlook Offline Folders"

I am experiencing an issue synchronizing my Outlook Calendar with my iPhone. I am using the latest version of Itunes (7.6.2.9).
    To reproduce:
    1) Sync Outlook calendar with Iphone.
In Outlook, the following error displays:
    "Microsoft Office Outlook Offline Folders"
"The file C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Local Settings\Application Data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.ost is in use and could not be accessed. Close any application that is using the file, and then try again."
At this point, in order to view any mail or calendar entries, I am required to reboot my computer and relaunch Outlook. I had to disable synchronization with the iphone.
I followed the troubleshooting Calendars hints from the Support site, and I clicked "Reset Sync History." This seems to have temporarily fixed the problem, but I am not confident I won't receive the error again.
Is there a permanent fix for this?

This may be more than a temporary fix, so I would wait and cross that bridge if and when the same error message turns up.

  • Problems synchronizing FTP in DW CS5

    Hi!
I'm having an issue synchronizing files to a remote FTP server in DreamWeaver CS5. Files upload OK, but whenever I ask it to synchronize sitewide it wants to upload the ENTIRE site (4000+ files!) Obviously missing the entire point... I've tried the steps listed in the knowledgebase in this article: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405835.html to no avail.
    Please help if you can!
    Thanks!
Oh, also I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit)... if that matters.

I am having the EXACT same problem if I right click on a file on the remote server and click "get" DW tries to download the ENTIRE site not just that one file... it only works if I drag the file across remote and local, which is a bother is I am only using 1 window!
this does NOT happen if I right click on a file on my local machine and click "get", only on the remote server.
I am also using windows 7 64bits but this also happens on Windows 7 32 bits
    UPDATE and possible fix;
in my case I had several sites that pointed to a sub-folder inside a root of one of my sites and this seem to cause that behavior, I changed each site to its own folder on my local machine and it seems to be working now hope it helps!

  • Error while creating query component

    Hi,
I working in a production environment where I have 2 application servers, 2 query servers and 2 crawling servers. I have created the search service application on the application server with the default topology then I modified the topology to add the crawl

Now I have an issue creating new or modifying the current query components. Every time i try the create new query component I receive the below issue. The query server is having the services "SharePoint Server Search" and "Search Query and

  • Full automatic Itunes synchronization impossible for a brand new Ipod touch 5th generation

    Hey all,
I bought a brand new Ipod Touch 5th generation which won't synchronize my whole music library through Itunes (very latest version of the app).
The ipod runs IOS8 and the mac mini runs Yosemite latest version.
I already had issue synchronizing music the very 1st day I had the Ipod touch. As a result, went back to the Apple store for changing it for another device, thinking the Ipod was faulty, which Apple accepted and changed my device for a brand new one.
Since then, still unable to synchronize the full music library through itunes. I performed several full resets both on the mac mini and of the Ipod touch with no success. The synchronization seems to run fully normally with no warning pop up saying it failed or whatsoever and the sync process is very very long. But once done, my Ipod remains empty with no data at all.
The weird thing is that Photos are fully synchronized with no issue at all.
I contacted the Apple assistance who argued that my music library might be faulty and have corrupted files in it. So I cleaned it up, suppressing some files I had in double etc.
BUT still, no success, I had to go through the entire library to sync manually, but even then, I was able to have on the device, only half of the library, i.e. around 25 go. once the ipod display 25 to 30 gb remaining, it won't sync no more files.
Although I cleaned up the entire library and reset both devices hundreds of times, I have no clue why even manually, I'm completely unable to have my whole library automatically sync.
I spent hours on the phone with Apple assistance to get some help with no success so far. I even re-installed Itunes completely, still without any result at all.
I was only able to upload on the Ipod only half of the music library, and there are still 25 to 30 GB space remaining on the ipod and 20GB of music to be uploaded.
The automatic sync process always fails any time I try to run it, except for the photos, books etc.
I must say I also have an 160 GB Ipod classic with which I never had any problem so far, and which fully sync my whole library with no issue at all.
I read on the internet that some other users of IOS8 are accountering the same issue with itunes.
COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP, I'M DESPERATE, given the price of the Ipod I really do regret I bought something that does not work properly. Quite disappointed

Yes the system just keep sync as everything is normal, but then no song is actually uploaded to the ipod.
And the remaining space bar shows the ipod's empty.
the automated process will just keep sync as if normal and the last step saying 'applying the modifications" just keep going on and never ends.
I was only able to upload manually half of the albums, all songs comes from different sources; ripped from CD for great part, but also downloaded from the internet from trusted websites.
All songs play normally through Itunes on the Mac Mini.
But then when trying to sync the whole library automatically, nothing happens and I only get tags of the different albums, as if there, but actually it won't play none and the Ipod player just keep skipping as if no musical data is there.

  • HFS and case sensitive file systems

I recently received a pre-installed Macbook. The file system is HFS+ (Apple_HFS according to 'diskutil list').
This file system is not case sensitive but I would like it to be. Is there a way to deactivate the HFS wrapper responsible for that without formatting the disk and re-installing the OS from scratch ?

I got issues synchronizing my linux account with my macosx account
If it's home directory contents that's the issue, you might consider simply partitioning your drive and creating a separate home directory partition that is case sensitive, separate from the boot partition tht is not.
Assuming you're on an Intel-based machine, you can resize the existing partition to make room, then create a new case-sensitive partition and move your home directory there.
Now your account synchronization shouldn't have an issue and you didn't have to re-install the entire OS.

  • Best approach for syndication in Central MDM

    MDM 7.1
    CE 7.2
    ERP 6 EHP4
    PI 7.1 EHP1
We are currently developing a custom application using CE/BPM workflow for central maintenance of customer master data. One of the topics under discussion is the right approach for syndication once a record is complete.
[This |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60a3118e-3c3e-2d10-d899-ddd0b963beba?quicklink=downloads&overridelayout=true] SAP document on collaborative material master data creation provides one way to achieve this syndication by first calling a web service from BPM to create record in ERP before checking in MDM. While I am personally fine with the approach, some of the other colleagues aren't too keen on issuing synchronous calls from BPM. Rather, they would like to use the syndication engine of MDM to transmit data to downstream systems (currently only SAP ERP) using Idocs. But there is a caveat here. To use syndication, the record has to be checked in.
The problem is that if the record is checked in MDM, it is ready for modification. However, the asynchronous call to ERP using Idocs for creation of customer master might fail for any number of reasons. In this case, the MDM record might need a modification before resubmitting to ERP. In the meantime, since the record was checked in before syndication, someone else might have checked it out, potentially resulting in data quality issues. So to avoid this situation, the developer has decided to take the approach to check in -> syndicate -> check out -> wait for confirmation Idoc -> check in if success. This isn't a clean approach to syndicate but might address the record locking issue.
Another consideration is to design the application with the view that sometime in the future, this master data might have to be syndicated to other SAP and non-SAP systems as well. To ensure syndication to all downstream systems is complete before checking in MDM can be a tricky requirement and might need some complex ccBPM development or evaluating something similar to two-phase commit (might be an overkill). In any case, a best practice approach for keeping downstreams systems in sync with MDM in case of central MDM has to be shared by SAP. So it would be good to have comments of the people who developed the reference application for collaborative material master data creation.
If there are any customers who have come up with a custom solution which works, please do share the experience.
    Thanks and regards,
    Shehryar

Thanks Ravi. While there are more than one possible solutions to the immediated problem, I am actually looking for a design pattern which SAP recommends or a customer has developed to address the issues related to synchronization of master data in a Central MDM environment.
The idea behind a central master data management function, as you know, is that all participating business systems use the same basic master data being authored in MDM. This data has to be synchronized with all participating systems, rather than just one system. To me, a ccBPM workflow or 2 phase commit design pattern seem to be the solution. But it would be good to know how other customers are addressing the issue of master data synchronization with multiple systems, or SAP's recommendations for this issue.

  • Passing PDF content thru XI

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where sender issues synchronous SOAP request with PO details to XI. XI further calls RFC using request payload. RFCs response is a table of PDF content. Now I have to pass this PDF data back to the sender as it is. Sender will later take care of displaying PDF output. I just need to pass this table data as it is to the sender.
Any idea how to achieve this?
Below I am displaying response payload from RFC.
I am getting below excpetion in response mapping.

  • Why Swing

I need to define a clear set of guidelines for when it is appropriate to use Swing over a Broswer based implementation. My experience tells me the following:
Using Swing launched with Web Start:
    UI has richer components
More powerful client side processing with fewer trips to the server
    Use of threads
    Asynchronous processing
Large amounts of client side data
    Using Browser based:
UI limited to HTML (unless you use something like Flash, but then there is a performance issue)
Synchronous processing requiring a trip to the server on each action
    No threading
    Data is more form based
    Other thoughts?

Java WebStart is very good for distributing an
application.Good point. The only deployment problem WebStart has, at least as far as I know, is that it still requires the user to have a JRE installed. Unfortunately, there are still audiences that have trouble doing that on their own. And that's not considering some of the things I've read about problems with multiple JRE/JDK installations.
    The Ajax technology is a architectural nightmare;
nice results, but ugliness under the hood.Could be, I've little experience with it. I was just pointing out the fact that a browser based client does not require syncrhonous communications.
If I look at the results my browser gets from e.g., gmail, I'm inclined to agree that a lot of "fancy" technologies for browser-based clients quickly get messy

  • Can't synchronize Contacts across iOS devices: iPad, iPhone

Like many other people, I have issues synchronizing Contacts across iOS devices. I tried all tips given in these forums, to no avail. I have a new iPad that just won't pick up any of the contacts from my old iPhone. Also, the iPad Contacts now doesn't have an Add button anymore (another problem reported by others as well).
Shouldn't it be trivial to merge and synchronize a simple list of contacts via a cloud service ?
Why does it seem to cause so much trouble to so many users ?
    Frustrating.

Yes I had tried all of that, thanks.
What I hadn't tried, was to delete the iCloud account on the new device, and then set it up again.
That solved the problem in my case: the Contacts from the old device (iPhone) are now finally synchronized on the new device (iPad).
Hope this discussion will help other folks who face the same problem !
Try fiddling with the on/off buttons as suggested, and if that fails, try deleting/re-creating the iCloud account on the new device.

  • Turn off wireless synchronization - Curve 9360 - Option to turn it off not present

I am attempting to synchronize my BB contacts to Desktop Manager v6 and it is advising that I need to turn off wireless sync.  I have reviewed the forum and user manual however, I simply cannot see the option to turn off wireless synchronization.  It is not present under the options.  Please help!  Thank you in advance!

Hello jamison2010 and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you are having issues synchronizing your BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 smartphone and the BlackBerry® Desktop Software.
You need to check the individual database that is being wirelessly synchronized. For example, if you are trying to do the USB wired sync with your computer and you get the message it is being synchronized wirelessly, you need to go to your BlackBerry Contacts then Menu>Options and select your contact list (most likely your email account).
If it is the Calendar then you go to the Calendar>Menu>Options and select the calendar list (which again, will most likely be your email account).
    Hope this answers your question.
